It is not Blondie without Frank, Jimmy and Nigel! Miss you guys so much! Frank, you and your fellow bandmates made the most modern, fresh, life-affirming, and fun-sounding music ― ever! Blondie’s music is always in style, still sounds modern ― futuristic even ― and I cannot get enough . . . Love, Love, Love💛💙💚your guitar 🎸 playing! Much love💝and respect.
That is right
I agree
I'm your dog but not your pet 🐕
Very cool to see/hear him
I love Rodney Bingenheimer {the red haired guy in the background} he was so instrumental in many music careers. Met him and got his autograph years ago... Thanks for helping Bowie and the years of KRoQ. Many great memories in California. Frank is awesome too. Lol
Frank is one hell of a GREAT guy, and guitarist, highly underrated too. As he mentioned, in England they loved them, and to be fair it was "Denise" the song that got them going over there. I think Chris Stein came across as a bit of a trouble maker it seems, do it his way sort of thing or else! Respect to you Frank.
Cost him his job. Bad move.
Your band oh sorry Debbie I thought this was Blondie
Frankie is so cool. His guitar playing is awesome. If Blondie ever got together again with him and Nigel to make just one album or play live, it would be historical.
He is rock n' fucking roll
What a disrespectful attitude from the interviewer. He could have done a modicum of research and would therefore have avoided asking some of the rather infantile questions he asked. This was like a member of the public meeting someone whom they had not heard of for the first time.
I feel sorry for Frank Infante, and think that he handled the 'interviewer' with aplomb.
I remember Frankie"The Freak" Infante in Jersey City... Seen Him play at some local clubs Does anyone agree He looks alot like Jeff Beck.....
Look up the 1977 MusikLaden (Germany) live performance. I thought : What's Jeff Beck playing in Blondie ? LOL
I think he looks like Al Pacino.
Jersey girl in the house! Lol 🙋
this fella has got a serious sniff habit.
Nice interview!
Crazy to see Taylor Hawkins 4:40 RIP

Frankie u bad boy still?!!
No septum left

When Richie Ramone walks in the background, Rodney Bingenheimer mistakenly calls him “Marky”, and a female voice corrects him.
lookin good frank ,it would be nice to see the original line up perform at some point
richardm239 Frank wasn't in the original line-up.
No he doesn't, he looks and acts like shit
@@JeffCookeMI Frank joined the band for their second album.
❤️❤️❤️❤️💥
The mayor of sunset strip, Rodney Bingenheimer hanging out with Frank.😎✌🏽☮️🎸
The interviewer is asking him for his last name?? Geez. you're talking to a guitar player of one of the greatest bands of the 70s and you don't know the last name? How embarassing for an interviewer.
Very nice to hear him interviewed. He was a key part of Blondie's success. Gotta ask: who's that short-haired red-headed lady over Frank's left shoulder. Yeah - the one who is photobombing during the interview. Nervous Nellie.
That's Mr. Bingenheimer, famous radio DJ. I think a friend of Frank.
Oh - I see. That's right. Thanks for the clarification Tim.
RODNEY MAYOR OF SUNSET STRIP
D.J AND FORMER CLUB OWNER ON THE STRIP IN LA
That’s Rodney Bingenheimer; famous LA disc jockey. The Mayor of Sunset Strip. He broke Blondie on the west coast when nobody out there was playing their stuff. We all owe a lot to Mr. Bingenheimer.😎✌🏽☮️🎸
Who is the beautiful woman in black behind Frank's right Shoulder? She is gorgeous! Frank Infante - Legendary guitarist for Blondie, Frank Rocks!

Frank Infante was the guitar sound for most of the Blondie songs. Chris Stein just played the easy parts. Gary Valentine and Nigel Harrison were also a big part of the group's sound. The three of them have been forgotten by Harry and Stein. Shameful!
".. Stein just played the easy parts"
Infante was the lead guitarist yes. Stein wrote the MUSIC for most of the songs! Forget the "easy parts" cheap talk
When they reunited, they never asked Frank because he was too hard to work with. After that him and his other band mate sued Deborah because they were using the name Blondie in the reunion and he wanted a cut of the money even for Maria and newer albums. He lost and rightly so.
heres MY response to whether he would rejoin or play with blondie (not that anyone asked me)....he SHOULD, because the band mostly sucks. the last album "panic" was actually decent, but there has been so much absolute crap from the 3 post-reunion albums. this guy is cool.
Soo, What's up GUY 😑
I really felt bad for Frank on the night that Blondie (the band) was inducted into the rock n roll hall of whatever. The dude was a very big part of that band's success and there he was on HIS NIGHT TOO having to beg that b-word to please let him play, and she still said no. he didn't deserve that, where is the graciousness Debbie? Chris? Only respect for Frank and where were the other band members to plead his case? Where was somebody from the Rock n Roll HoF to intervene on Frank's behalf? I'm really glad that as embarrassing as that must have been for Frank Infante to have that shown on HBO it really only made Debbie and Chris look like the a-holes that I guess I now know that they are.
They were pissed off with Frank Infante and Nigel Harrison for suing them in the late 90s cos they weren't part of the reunion. I guess I can understand where Chris Stein and Debbie Harry were coming from, and maybe I'd have felt the same way, but that said if they'd let them play, then maybe a lot of shit might have been washed away. I'm not 100% sure. Clem Burke actually plays with Infante's own band as well as with Blondie. I guess Clem is not as "precious" about it as Stein and Harry are.
Thanks so Effin? You know as well as I that there is a lot of shit that goes on between band members, especially when you add in drugs and all of the craziness that goes along with that scene. I didn't know about the lawsuits but I just made my judgement on the scene that we all saw when Frank was begging to be 'allowed' to play on the songs that he helped create. I don't know, maybe it's because he was a friend of my guitar player up in NJ.
Jim DiBattista I do think it was just cos of the lawsuits why they weren't allowed play with them. Anyway, this was from 2006 (10 years ago, hard to believe) surely more water's passed under the bridge since then. Nigel Harrison did co-write One way or another with Debbie Harry, so this time around I think it'd be only fair if they got some other award.
Jim DiBattista to ask to play on the night and not in private before hand is ... being a dick. The band was all set to go, you can’t just turn up, after a law suit I may add, and say ‘can I play’.
uh but they didn't let Gary Valentine play either and he didn't sue any of them ever. I don't really care about this drama bullshit and nobody wants to see Harry plus some road musicians honestly. I won't even take it seriously as the "real" band anymore.
He's a sketch!
Whose that weird old woman milling around him? Bad haircut .
Ambrose Fox his mom
That’s not his mom.
Awful Lotto it is. Not gonna debate.
She looks like him. If he’s your cousin then who is she?
Rodney
Possibly the most clueless interviewer Did they feel like ambassadors for America? God, no....they were a new wave band
