She was fine in the 70's, and she is fine in her 70's! 💜
brilliant
I’ve heard say, we were in our 20’s in the 70’s and now we’re 70 in the 20’s. EEK😊
True❕❕❕
👍💕
You know That’s Right!
77 years old and she is stunning! I have admired her since the early days - iconic voice.
Yes she is!!! Always was!!🥰
I know she's 30 years older than me (I look awful by the way)
She looks amazing. If she has had work done which i dare say she has, it is really well done!
@@user-ui2hw5os3d I'm sure she has, but it is GOOD -- she is hot as shit.
Gross
“I was very shy and I’m still am.”
She’s just adorable. ❤
Debbie Harry has her own apiary. She gave Jimmy Fallon a gift of honey from her own bees. That is high level gift-giving right there.
In a fancy bottle too! My friend gave me her bees’ honey in an old Noosa yogurt tub! Delicious no matter the presentation.
She loves the environment and communes with nature! spiritual gifts!!!
Yesiree.
Well said
Yes she gave it from her bee-ing so to speak .Very thoughtful and unique gift .
I love her humble and unassuming personality. No ego at all even though she’s a total legend and icon with 50 years in showbiz.
If you are a regular person and encounter her in street or night club she's very rude and mean, at least in the 90s, maybe she mellowed out
@@MrJoseoz she's an addict that time so yeah + it's her personal space strangers need to leave her alone
Heart of glass is my favorite song too ❤️. Saw her and Blondie 10 years ago, just amazing 😍
@@undergroundgirl74 i wouldn't bother her but it would be thrilling to meet her.
@@MrJoseoz lies.
Hunny from Debbie? you know honey doesn't rot and is eternal. A very simple yet incredible and iconic gift.
yes!!!! I wish they would have talked more about her bees.
Agreed
doesn't go off? what so all the honey i've thrown out, i shouldn't have?! for real?
@@angelicaterry3367 it can last for a hundred years or more without losing its benefits (honey doesn't expire)!
@@angelicaterry3367 Yep. It might turn to sugar but you can heat it and it will go back to liquid, Never waste it and throw it away.
I saw Debbie Harry when I was on my way to see Fleetwood Mac at Newcastle Arena . She was sitting in a tour bus outside Newcastle City Hall when I passed by ( on my own) I waved at her and mouthed ‘ Hello ‘ She waved back and said hello too ! What a fabulous night I had🥰🥰
Hello Diane
How are you doing today?
Debbie Harry proves that Mick Jagger isn't the only one who can keep rocking with dignity into their later years. She's full of awesome
she's worn much better then him..
@@shabbos-goy9407 Her pipes haven't tho in comparison 👍👍
Yoooo la mega amo, q mujer tan increíblemente espectacular como pocas, se mantiene q luz , gracias por existir mi abuela rockera, 🎉❤
Someone needs to tell Madonna she is no longer a kid ..to grow into her age 😢😢
Timeless beauty and talent.
I'd 🦴
Most people fail to realize that when you're a beautiful person, you'll keep being beautiful no matter what age you are, so Debbie Harry will always be gorgeous to me.
Also, it doesn't matter how many years go by, Debbie Harry will always be an icon. She will always be timeless.
Well said shuug !
You are 100% right.
Some beautiful people have aged terribly

Some people take care of themselves.
one of the few times I've seen Jimmy genuinely star struck, and with good reason too
jimmy is a punk rock fan , lol
Debbie is an icon and so cool. Aged well and still looks amazing. Take note Madonna.
Absolutely!! Madonna has turned into a freak!
Marina don't preach.
Don't insult Debbie by putting her in the same paragraph as Madonna.
8 minutes of pleasure to see Debbie is still a charming and elegant woman. 😘
Madonna has lost herself
I met her after one of her solo shows in the early nineties, she was warm and really appreciated her fans, a class act!
Same here. She won't tolerate obnoxious fans, and of course happened but I was allowed to meet and greet her backstage. If everyone is cool in audience then she'll mingle with the crowd
So effortlessly cool. Debbie Harry came from a time in the NYC arts scene when people were just hanging out doing fun, creative stuff with the interesting people they met...and it became a moment we'll not see the likes of again.
yes, i sang w deb and blondie in an off broadway show and made an art film w her.
Real artists back then. Real writers. Real musicians. Real photography. Now, everyone thinks they are a musician with digital software. Every one thinks they are a photographer.
I was trained in darkrooms. Film , paper, chemicals were expensive We used expensive tape for recording. Better have your chops up and ready to go when recording.
@@holarc that is so frickin awesome, you are very fortunate
I posted today, 5 days after your post, I saw her at CBGB’s 77. I was 17 it may have been 76. But, I was in awe! Right there, I’d never heard of her before then. Train to Tube to city!
Well said...I agree !
77 years young. And still not slowing down while looking like a queen. Damn, this woman is so amazing...
I ran into her once, literally ran into her. I was entering a breakfast place in the Village in NYC, she was coming out the door and I was going in and I walked right into her! I apologized profusely and she said "don't worry about it honey", it was in the early 1990's.
she's so sweet, humble, beautiful, witty, funny. forever the coolest ❤️
I’m very impressed with her. What a classy & humble woman. So many “celebrities” could learn a few things by just watching this interview. Thank you Debra & Jimmy.
Not only an Icon singer but Extremely Humble & nice in person. She never put herself on a higher pedestal than you or me. That's a true Icon right there folks. I love you Deborah 😍
I LOVE this interview. And I LOVE that Debbie has beehives that she gets her honey from. And, most of all, I LOVE Debbie Harry and Blondie. That group has had an enormous influence on my taste in music.
I saw Blondie a few years ago and it was a general admission show and I was probably the youngest person there and I was about twenty feet from the stage and she and I made eye contact and she waved to me. I'll never forget it, they were great.
Wow 🤍
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎
I envy you Steven
Lucky dog.
Awwww, lucky you
Ok
I'm having a fangirl moment. Ms. Harry, I love you unconditionally.
I just did a craft project for a friend where I literally made a "heart of glass" it wasn't actually glass but it looked like it. Lol
She looks so beautiful.
ikr she like ages like a fine wine
What a beautiful, graceful, iconic and thoughtful woman. I am SO glad she continued her career with all the richness of ageing and wisdom to add to all she already had....because ladies like her demonstrate so clearly the spirit and the gift within us all is timeless and we become much more and not less as we age. She wears it well :)
Very well said.
Agree 100%
Ty.
Hi dear, i was on my scrolling mode when i saw your comment and was moved to send a text to you hope you don't find it pestering..?
Love that she's so natural, doesn't try too hard/perform for the camera as many celebrities do. What a beautiful person!
Gorgeous on the outside too.
She makes 77 look young.
I grew with my mom listening to her, and I continued listening to her throughout my years.
I love you Debbie Harry ♥️
I've met her a couple times, she is super sweet to fans. Gave me a hug.
Lucky you. I wish I could've been in your spot at that time.
Meeting someone is a rather vacuous event.
Some of Debbie's dresses in the 1970s were made by a very interesting woman named Anya Phillips, who was a NYC trendsetter who died tragically young. It's worthwhile looking up a Wiki article about her.
Always beautiful. She's pushing 80!!
Debbie Harry is an international treasure. I love her so much.
still drop dead gorgeous 40 years on
Went to see her 20 years ago expecting very little, she was absolutely brilliant fantastic voice
Boy, talk about an icon. This woman is truly an Icon. Loved her music then, still love it now.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Debbie Harry...since high school in the 80's. Still so beautiful and talented❤
DITTO!!!
Dang, 77, on tour, making a new album, and looks phenomenal... I need her secret!!
Plastic surgery
She’s rich and only works every few years 😂😂😂
She takes care of bees
I cannot believe she's 77!!
@@deathbeforedecaf7755 Just like most artists do.
She looks radiant! Thank you for all the music and entertainment Debbie!
Her Blondie album is still one of my favorites, the disco remix from the early 2000s of the album is clearly off the charts, driving around listening to it in the car at full volume is incredible on a good stereo system. She is one class act, a true trailblazer and actually a great human being, she has stood up for so many causes and used her celebrity to help, and at the same time wise and nobody’s fool. We need more like her
Ms Deborah Harry is aging like a Fine Wine! Very artsy and a musical icon.
Artsy?
@@neon-yx3vc ikr?
She is the absolute best!!!💛🖤💛🖤
Debbie is a Legend! Blondie is so iconic
I saw her in Australia when she was 62. She absolutely rocked the place ❤
If you watch her and the band doing Atomic, it establishes Debbie Harry officially, as a pop goddess.
And then, after we thought they were done, Maria comes out, and her voice is as amazing as ever.
I always thought Rip Her to Shreds should have had it's timing doubled even tripled and screamed to make it an iconic punk song. I always joke that one day, I am going to start a punk band and that will be first song, though I am 53 now. LOL
@@dsddala467 doesn't matter how old you are if you still have the chops for it. Doing it at 53 (or beyond) would be totally punk 🤘
Love love love that song.
I will take quality guests like Debbie Harry all day. Listening to the old stories from legendary rock stars is amazing!❤
Class. She's so beautiful!
I'm an 80s teen. I wanted to be Debbie Harry. I still do. Just look at her! Epitome of effortless cool.
I grew up in the 80’s and I wanted to be her too.😎
Good Lord we were obsessed with her back when she came first came out on the albums look at her now she’s an absolute beauty dang she’s absolutely fabulous she’s so very very
Graceful and seductive
Calm down son.
@@jdemarco I’m 69 years old I’m not your son
@@stevensprunger3422 Well, in that case, calm down you old simp...lol
Graceful & seductive describes her well 🙂 "Growing old gracefully & seductively" ... Such an inspiring human being 🥰
I can't believe she took an interview, I don't think she does usually. She has a connection with Jimmy. She looks and sounds amazing. She's part of my growing up and going to art school in NYC in the 80s. I lived this time. I hope she makes more appearances. She seems well and why not do some shows or just sit down talks?? She's as seductive and natural and looks beautiful as she was then.WOW ❤️❤️❤️🐝🐝🐝
I was a Teen all through the 80s. I did Art school in LA in the 90s and you're right. Beauty, Talentl, and Charm all in one package. She is one amazing individual.
I LOVE Debbie Harry. She looks amazing as ever. Great interview. Congrats on the Grammy Nomination Debbie!
I love love love this lady. I sat next to her on a plane once in the 90's and she was the kindest sweetest person while I fanned tf out!
Still have my original vinyl album of Heart of Glass. Debbie was wearing red open toed Candies in the cover.
Loved that album cover.
I haven't got to see interviews with her before, so I didn't know she was so down to earth. What a nice lady
I met Debby once back in the 90's when she was doing jazz performances with the Jazz Passengers. I can tell you that she was every bit a kind and sweet soul as you see here. Everyone remembers her as one of the most beautiful women on Earth and yet she is so disarming. Debby Harry is an absolute treasure.
Love her! I went with friends to see her at CBGB’s in, I’m 99% sure it was 1977. That venue was small and we were directly in front of the stage. As teenagers we really had great music to grow up to.
Debbie Harry looks great!! Making a dress out of a pillowcase is so cool. Awesome interview!!!
Hello Sharon
How are you doing today?
Wow, what a nice surprise. I wish he would have asked her about her bee hives! I'm trying to picture Deb in a beekeeper's uniform! The wrestling thing was great. Perfect example of an interview being too short, they didn't scratch the surface. Box set looks cool, though.
Watch the official video for the song "Atomic" when she is dressed like a BEE!
Yeah, Jimmy's not that great at rolling with whatever happens, especially when he's nervous. He has talking points he wants to get to.
An icon truly. She sang rock, the first rap song, punk and even reggae. Amazing.
She didn’t sing the first rap song, there were raps before but it was more underground music rather than popular music back then. In her song Rapture Fab Freddie did the rap and the song was mainstream and Blondie was a popular band. To rap fans and history like myself, the most iconic rap which truly made the genre popular is The Message…
She is a national treasure.
What an Icon… I loved her then and still love her now. A star through and through 🙏🏼👏🏼❤️
Hi dear, i was on my scrolling mode when i saw your comment and was moved to send a text to you hope you don't find it pestering..?
Great seeing Debbie Harry. She looks great.
Wow, so humble - Debbie has aged great & zero ego, amazing - I watched Madonna on Fallon and cringed the entire time...
I love the fact that Debbie Harry still looks like Debbie Harry. Gorgeous then, gorgeous now.
One of the first women I remember crushing on as a kid. So many amazing women back in the late 70's early 80's between her, Linda Carter, Charlie's Angels, Daisy Duke, Olivia Newton John, Lindsay Wagner....and the list goes on.
Yes, the ladies of today can't compare.
So glad to see her come back! We’ve missed you and your music! Still got it going on! Thanks
Her voice is always amazing and cool aswel.
I was on my scrolling mode when I cut across ur comment and I it pleasing to message you hope am not pestering..?
She looks amazing and she’s so sweet and down to earth.
I remember seeing an article during lockdown that she qualified as a beekeeper and has hives. There was the coolest pic of her in her keeper suit.
Blondie changed my life. I was a little show-queen when someone played me the first album, within 3 months I was sneaking out to go to CBGB's.
Saw the band recently play at The Paramount in Huntington, NY and it was night that I won’t forget. She made an awesome entrance and the crowd went wild! One of my idols, and celeb crushes lol. The first time I heard a Blondie song was in bride of Chucky and I fell in love with the band and of course Debbie ever since. Was very happy to see her on late night. She looks great!
This precious lady is always wonderful. It's not easy to pass the '60, the '70, the '80, the '90 and keeping this shape. I wander if she's a real human or else ..
I love this woman.
She has aged beautifully and gracefully. Class act.
Love this.....I've been there since the beginning. Blondie is my favorite band. Debbie is unreal and I would be so honored to meet her one day.
I’ve met her a few times. She is a great lady. I’ve seen her in bad moods though but usually after concert malfunctions
Same here!
Thanks Ms Harry for your music, band and the start of a new era.
I always pushed the 'Heart of Glass' on the juke box at "Hamburger Mary's " in San Francisco.
Glad you're still going strong 💪🏾
I love her since she started singing. An Icon for all women and men too . Still listening to her music
So I guess you have the Wind in the Willows album.
I remember her... she was always gorgeous and she still is...grew up with her awesome music !
Hello Dear
How are you doing today?
Not sure who her doctor is but she looks amazing. Unreal.
Yeah for 77! 😯 She looks phenomenal!
That woman never ceases to amaze ✨🌟✨🌟✨🌟❤️
Time hasn’t diminish her colossal beauty
Man, she looks AMAZING! I’ll bet that Crystal bottle is worth a small fortune!
Love how she’s just humble and not trying to be young like Madonna
Agreed.
I was just thinking that, madonna Is egotistical in her core, Debbie is not thankfully and she shines here cos she is just herself
My partner got tickets to the Blondie Concert at a College Venue in San Diego in 1998 or 99. Our seats were 3 rows from the front & center. I'm a discrete & shy person & chose to stay seated when everyone else was standing and mostly dancing. Debbie Harry looked right at me & motioned for me to stand up. I hesitated til she motioned for me to get up for a 2nd time & I stood up next to my partner. My actions endeared me 2 my partner, so I guess Deb won me over on him!
She is shy and quiet here. Lol. She has the gift to put it all on the stage. She's amazing!
What an amazing woman so sweet and humble a true legend! I grew up listening to her music and still listen to it today! And even though she’s a little older she’s still a lovely woman putting out great music today, and I have to say I love the song Ave Maria! Keep up the great work you’re a true icon❤
No one knows my love for blondie. I freaking LOVE that band with my whole heart
shes phenomenal!!! i love Blondie so much & im amazed at their performances even in their 70s!!! i have been fortunate enough to have seen them live six times now & they are brilliant. Debbie is still gorgeous and entertaining! 👏💯🌟🌟🌟👑👑👑👑
Hello Camillie
How are you doing today?
Love her, she is so beautiful and talented!
Oh wow she is still stunning and so ordinary at once. What a classy act
I remember seeing In the Flesh which was played accidentally instead of X Offender on Countdown an Australian weekly pop show and it became a huge hit internationally, the following day at school everybody was talking about Blondie.
I always thought Molly Meldrum was a Moron but you've got to hand it to him some of our biggest success stories like AC/DC and INXS wouldn't have happened without him and he certainly had a bit of a hand in furthering the careers of ABBA Madonna and Blondie as well in a small way.
Just one word. FLAWLESS!!!!!
Unstoppable at every age! You go, girl! ❤
So talented and humble. Beautiful outside and inside.
ICONIC♥️
Debra Harry! What can you say? A rock and roll legend for the past half a century. I had the pleasure of seeing her perform a few years back in Forest Park here in Saint Louis. She belted out one hit song after another. Blondie is an ICON!!
Debra Harry is amazing! I love her. She still looks amazing, too
She's been an idol of mine since I was a little girl back in the 70's. She's still the absolute best.
I saw her in concert a few weeks ago and she was AMAZING. she's the coolest woman in whatever room she enters
Wow she is beautiful, regardless of age.
She's so cool and unassuming. Love her.
Hi dear, i was on my scrolling mode when i saw your comment and was moved to send a text to you hope you don't find it pestering..?
Yes you’re right
she is the gift
LEGEND. Down to earth, kind, sweet, cool and super talented. I loved Debbie in the 1980s movie HAIRSPRAY. She played a great part in that. My favourite Blondie track is 'In the Flesh' (or Shayla), or even Union City Blue. So many good songs! She also did singles too by herself (French Kissing in the USA!) :)
I was so in love with Debra Harry when I was 10 years old.
Seeing this 40 years later, I'm still in love with her....😃.
I can't believe she's pushing 80.
She used to put me into a trance in the early 80s.
Beautiful..Heart of Glass...Good times forever 🧡
