I have been driving Mercedes cars for years, and am proudly a Mercedes snob. I normally drive my 2020 E450 Coupe all over the country, but recently I decided to rent a car for a drive to Florida so that I wouldn't get bugs all over my car. I rented a 2023 Lincoln Nautilus from Avis and took that car to Florida. I loved it! As much as I love my Merc, after driving 600 miles round trip in the Lincoln, I felt refreshed and relaxed when I got home. The seats were fantastic, the drive smooth, and the car really felt luxurious, even in rental-car form. The 2024 Nautilus looks even better. If Lincoln is struggling with market share, the problem is NOT the car.
@davidgmaloof ... +1 .. An authentic endorsement of Lincoln. .. The MB inline 6 is hard to beat; Our '23 E-450 wagon.
I have the same experience in an Aviator. Drove over 2500 miles as a rental for a week and it was great! Ive been looking to buy one
Lincoln service is embarrassingly poor and not befitting of a luxury brand. Not to mention the rough idling of Lincoln/Ford is apparently normal according to the techs.
I've owned 4 Lincolns and the service at my dealer is outstanding. My Sister even had her Ford serviced there and they gave her a 23 Nautilus to drive while her car was being fixed.
Mercedes owners do not refer to their cars as a "Merc" That nomenclature is for 1950's Lead Sled Mercury's. Obviously this is a Troll.
That interior is amazing! Wow!
We should be able to test drive one of these soon. Another Lincoln spokeswoman was showing that very same Nautilus and was encouraging people to sign up for tickets to take a test drive at any Lincoln dealer in the U S by end of October and receive $75.
I had a 2014 MKX and really enjoyed the vehicle. This is next-level, technology-wise. What I don't care for is a 4 cylinder engine. I guess you can show us when you get to drive one! Nice review Robin 👍🏻
Thank you very much! Yeah, I'm also surprised Lincoln didn't want to share peak torque with the hybrid. That said, I will likely prefer the eight-speed automatic to the CVT anyway. And I will certainly test the potency of the four-cylinder as soon as I get the chance.
Loving it a lot!!
Just wished the oval steering wheel had three spokes versus the two spoke as shown. Also wish that Lincoln would bring back the Black Label editions in Canada.
Is the left part of the display customizable. Like could you move the map to one of the three squares on the right and move the radio info next to your gear cluster?
Can I have a wider size for the back wheel? Just like the AMG style.
Dream car!!! I love this car!!! Absolutely beautiful!!!
can you address the adaptive suspension system?
Beautiful vehicle! Very handsome exterior, but they knocked the interior way out of the park. I don't like SUVs myself, but I can't let my wife see this!
Yeah I made that mistake and now we own a 2024 Nautilus 😂
Are the displays limited to only these four widgets (Clock, Fuel Economy, Trip 1/Trip2)? or, is it possible to display something else, such as UA-cam, on one of the screens?
most important thing, did they keep the key pad entry?....I would never buy a vehicle with out it once you are used to having it.....
Shit, it looks like all screen on the center tablet. No buttons for AC and climate control. No thanks
I believe it's digital, but still there. I know they are quite popular, so I'd be surprised if Lincoln went away from them.
11:30 She has no idea what the difference between Supercruise and Bluecruise is.
You should have asked why they got rid of the saddle and black interior on the Black Label. The 2 available choices don't look like something a guy would choose.
This girl did a good job, and the talk was good. Thanks for doing this. Good job.
Thank you for watching and commenting!
Why not make the full color palet for ambient lighting i dont get why they dont offer it bmw as well
I loved the looks and features of this 2024 Nautilus SUV inside out. I liked it so much of the uniqueness of the very wide screen of technology 48 inches across and lights across in the front and back. I'm currently driving 2015 Cadillac SRX and I loved the lights design at the back and safely features.I'm not yet good in technology cos I'm old school, but 2024 Nautilus will be my next vehicle cos I felt driving in Mars😊❤ I loved it so much. Thanks for showing up this video. I will print the photo of this vehicle and put this on my vision board.
You're welcome!
I looked at videos of everything from Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Cadillac, BMW, Jeep, and nothing comes close to this Lincoln.
i love this car
It's like a mini Aviator now
Love the drivers side dash...since you focused on that for the entire interview. Geeesh!
Towing?
Definitely will be in the market for one of these, It looks really promising and next level
On this futuristic vehicle she showed you can minimize the screen. But would have to see at night with such a large screen see the highway.
Gorgeous exterior and interior looks luxurious but not sure about that imax movie theatre screen. Is that really what customers want or just what Lincoln perceives them to want? Feel like they should bring back physical buttons for basic things (climate controls), but Lincoln doesn’t seem to be headed that direction. Really like our 23 Corsair but sometimes the screens freezes or other quirks with heated/cooled seats that would be better as buttons.
This looks amazing on the interior...i just wonder what the driving is like with the dash being so far away and the steering wheel looks kinda low.
The seat and steering wheel both move you know.
The steering wheel is low so it doesn't block the display.
Do you have separate HVAC buttons ? If it's in the touchscreen that would be a deal breaker for me ! HVAC in the touchscreen take attention away from the road.
I've touched my HVAC buttons twice in the last year. Set it at 70 and forget it ;-)
Not everyone is you James. Sometimes wonder-wife wants warmer on her side etc.@@jamesvelvet3612
If you use voice commands you don't have to touch anything
I'm a Ford guy and love the Lincolns ..but it's a damn shame they moved production off shore. She should still be built in Oakville.
I'm wondering id Ford is regretting that, given the bottom has dropped out on EV's?
Make it a sport back coupe and add 200hp.ams brembo brakes.. And get some color in there.
What happens to the Nautilus and Corsair nameplates when Ford kills the Edge and Escape in '25?
Good question!!
That's why Nautilus production is being moved to China...Edge lives on there with a new model, the Edge L. The Escape/Corsair platform is also shared with Bronco Sport and Maverick, so perhaps Corsair can be moved to the same assembly line as them.
This is the Chinese made Lincoln!
As the owner of a Aviator (which has been a fantastic car!) I don’t think we will look at another Lincoln/Ford product again.
Why not lincoln Ford?
Lincoln is the up luxury line of Ford. It doesn’t make sense that they are selling a Chinese car as a Lincoln. It just cheapens the entire Lincoln brand. I don’t like to see any American car company selling Chinese cars branded under their name. Let the Chinese sell their cars here as Chinese cars.
The Buick Envision is also Chinese made
Buick Envista is made in South Korea.
Because american can't make it, or at least gonna very expensive, that nobody would buy it
I bought a2024 Lincoln Nautilus having trouble with brakes Rotors rusting after washing car or in rain overnight & Lincoln motor Co won't correct my problem
does it have massage seats?
It's likely that the high-end trims will, I bet. But I do not know for sure. Hope to find out early in 2024.
Yes it's an option
do Nautilus and Explorer share the same platform?
Nautilus is more similar to the Ford Edge. And, Edge and Explorer and built from different platforms. I hope that helps.
The 2024 Nautilus actually rides on a revised and stretched version of Ford's C2 platform, which is related to the current Escape, Bronco Sport, and Maverick, but not quite the same as any of them. The Edge and prior generation Nautilus ride on the CD4 platform that dates back to 2013. The new Nautilus and Edge are no longer mechanically related other than the base 2.0 liter engine and 8 speed transmission used in both. 2024 is the final year of the Edge.
How come no one makes a cooled steering wheel. It gets hot in summer.
Cold hands limit finger strength and mobility which can get dangerous while driving.
I wish you asked her how the aviators' sales will get affected by launching the nautiluses? I wonder how this technologies and the small gimmicks in the nautilus will affect the avaitor knowing that the aviator has powerful power train, 3 rows and more comfortable ride 🤔
The lack of a powerful engine is the biggest handicap for the Nautilus. I had a 21 Aviator and will be looking at both the Nautilus and Aviator. Many wouldn't pay more for 3 rows id they need only 2. I've seen picture of the 24 Aviator and they are removing many of the buttons and switches that make the infotainment and HVAC controls so easy to use and bury them in the screen. That's a big negative IMO. Doesn't appear the Aviator will get the new Coast to Coast screen, but will finally get Sync 4.
I sure do not like all the new gimmicks in the 2024 Nautilus!
Theres no way anyone could pay attention to thenroad with that screen sixe and layout. I get they have autonomous now but even then holy shit
what's the pedestrian kill rate for this vehicle while the driver is distracted?
Hope this interior design travels up the line
I saw this at detroit auto show, it was stunning, not sure about the pricing though
It's a car. Not a movie theatre. What is up with car manufacturers these days?!?
"Absolutely"
Cute Lil thing.
The Lincoln car as well .....
It did not Mention the Speaker count of the Various versions and Audio Maker!
14 and 28 by Revel (Harmon Kardon)
when you take it in to the dealer for an electronic fault be sure to empty your bank account.
That's why you get an extended warranty.
Now how about a Town Car with that interior for those who love real luxury sedans.
To the woman employee of Lincoln, please bring it to Europe please ,it will sell loads,
I definitely want this Lincoln & hope an example will be at the Los Angeles auto show in November!
While I do not know for sure, I bet Lincoln will have a Nautilus at the LA show, would be really surprised otherwise.
I wonder when this suv will be seen in China. My current car is an audi Q7, and I really want to change it into a bigger one. The new Range Rover sucks in the car computer system.
👀 looks like a Range Rover
I suppose that's the point...? ?
i mean... talking about misleading... you don't 'get' blue cruise in all the trims. You have to PAY for it with an $11k package upgrade where they also hide the audio system upgrade and the moon roof. $11k is a far way from 'included'
The Screen Obscures, The Line Of Site. I Hate All The Screens.
It’s So Much Overkill With The Computer Crap.😮
Only younger customers that can’t afford it care about all your techno wizardry; most refine Lincoln customers don’t care about your cheap electronics. They prefer a quality vehicle; that has a reliable value for their money.
Nice. But still this is Ford
2.0 Liter Engine! 😬
If u dont care about quality and reliabilty then this vehicle is right up ur alley.
I'm in my second Nautilus, no problems.
Yeah imma need her to chill on saying “absolutely”
& YAAASSS ‼️ 😂
She was put on the spot with short notice and did a great job.
In her previous life, she must have sold cars!
@@viewsonvehicles ... Yes. .. That was the sense, agreed. . An informative, entertaining exchange - On the spot. .. Only genuine folk pull that off.... Hey, call HR.
needs a larger screen .
49 inches maybe?
A little taller would be nice.
Ha! Size Queen?
That screen couldn’t be a driving distraction at all 😂😂😂😂
@@vanceforrest4085 That's the beauty of having it at eye level. You can see it without taking your eyes from the road like screens at the side. You can bet others will copy this design.
Hate that the wheels keep getting bigger and bigger….tires are dramatically more expensive over 18”. It’s a trait I don’t appreciate. I don’t want to be forced to spend over $2000 on tires just because they are huge for no reason…. And with regard to the huge dash screen it’s dangerous…it’s basically watching tv while driving. Way too much of a distraction for the driver.
I'll stick to my 07 lincoln town car. It looks like too much electronics on that nautilus
Proudly made in China by Changan Hangzhou Assembly Plan
Wheel size has gotten ridiculous.
MADE IN CHINA. Where's the EcoBoost 2.7 V6 and what about an electric version?
It was a 2.7L. and there is a hybrid. Electric sales are going down lately.
All the kids say. So, ….
100k for a Lincoln 😂😂😂😂
More like 50-70k for the Nautilus Reserve, or 80k for Black label.
Best vehicle presentations should present feature, function and benefits. This lady knows her product. The guys is talking to much.
Steering wheel, interior design very mucu sucks and Front design also very sucks
more over Why no HUD ???
Lincoln means US. I really like Lincoln cars but this one looking really good but problem is it is (MAKE IN CHINA 😂😢 what the f.....!!!!!!. Big rejection from me.
That would be awesome if touchscreen usage while driving would be banned
Scent cartridges are waste of space. I rather they used that space for something more functional. Those scents cause cancer anyways
I don't like the drama of the oval steering wheel and the huge dash screen!! I also do not care for those 22" wheels........they are ugly in design. Additionally, who would want difusers spraying a "fresh" scent into the car to be breathed into our lungs? By the way, my wife loves her Nautilus from a couple years ago that she is still driving and loving!
No wonder Ford is going broke. This car is so full of gimicks. Why does anyone want wall to wall screen? Is Ford going to be able to update this software? I couldn't update my Escape to get Apple Carplay!
What a nice car. Is this a car that we’re getting or is it being imported from china? I hope we’re not getting it as an import from china. The last thing we need, is more cheap Chinese crap. Just like that crap pushed through Walmart…
I'm a loyal Ford customer.
I had my heart set on a new Nautilus until production started in communist China.
It's a shame and un-American that Ford will build this luxury vehicle in China and ship it back to the US for domestic consumption!
No dice!!
We could be at war with China by 2025.
To bad it’s now made in China.
Lincoln keeps trying to copy range rover
Definitely achieved the same reliability as Range Rove; the screen can entertain you waiting for tow truck!
Ford Owned LandRover. Helped design the models we know now.
Pretty sure this thing sucks but, So does Range /Land Rover.
Way overpriced and if you do some research, you find that it's not that reliable considering how much you're sinking into it.
Also the depreciation is I believe (last I saw) is top five.
@@flashnmb1 .. Badda - Bing!
Made in CHINA!
Robin, sorry but, you talk too much. Ask the question and then stop talking. Let your guest talk.
It do not think you are sorry.
