This is a video I made a while back and really enjoyed the project but for whatever reason not many people watched it. After a small edit
    I’m giving it another chance.

But won't this spoil the statistics on the contrary? For example, I have already seen this video. And in general, how useful is the practice of republishing old videos?

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." But I'm a 68 yr old wood student, and I'm old school. Being more traditional. That being said, it takes a talent to create a beautiful piece, and that's what you did. It's a lot of work, but it showed your character. It's beautiful.

Yes Jay, you did not realize what magnitude of job you did start with. Gluing such a lumb of "not dried" industry wood. Brave promises you made to youself. The result however must have bee an enormeous reward. I love the contrast between the walnut colour with the black recesses and the shining finishing you applied at the end. A beutifull piece of furniture you realized. Wish you success in cleaning up the workshop after all this carving and sanding. Concratiulations and best regards from a verry wett Germany too. I keep following your videos. Stay healthy , Robert.

A good video on patience & perseverance my friend. As a retired Senior Master of Art in South Australia where I majored in Sculpture, this is not, to me, one of your finest pieces. That said, there are some interesting aspects to this piece & there will be many who find it works for them. Art is a selfish venture in many ways, an artist works on a piece to produce something that they want. If the Artist is satisfied & happy with the finished piece, then they have succeeded & can enjoy the finished product, end of story. If other people see the piece & like it, that is great for the Artist. At the conclusion it is an interesting piece. Cheers, Don from South Australia.

Thanks for sharing this video. It is fun to see how far you have come. I have been long time viewer and really appreciate seeing this piece as I felt it looked like a boulder you would find on a beach that had pits and holes in it that trapped pebbles and with the wave action rolling the stones inside these holes over time carving out the niches. This is truly an amazing organic piece, congratulations.😊
