- Here's how to reduce file size WITHOUT Losing Quality.
It's actually possible to export your masterpiece to a smaller file size yet keep the high quality. Follow along the video to learn how to do it.

Yeah, and BTW. I'm an Adobe Community Expert: community.adob...
A few tips:
1. If your file turns out huge even after matching the bitrate against your footage, it's usually because you have filmed in a less compressed file format. In that case, try to export part of your video and test lowering the bitrate.
2. If you have applied a bunch of effect to the video in Premiere, set the bitrate slightly higher until you are happy with the result. Effects will increase the data required compared to the original footage without effects.
No blabla intro, just straight to business. Love it! Thank you Jens! You are the master of small file settings! 😃

Very useful!
Amazing solution
THANKS❤
Thanks bro🤝
great video totally did the job

WMP no longer supports HVEC, keep that in mind if you're handing it off to someone else. They'll need the codecs or VLC media player.
Takk for tips!
Thanks ,it's really help me
Sooooo close to 1000 subs now!
Oyess!
@@videowithjens Well deserved!
Thank you so much.
But when Video is played on a big screen, the quality reduces, why is it so
thanks
very helpfull thank buddy
In most other's videos they suggested CBR instead of VBR 1 pass that you suggested. So actually which one to go with? also HEVC insted of H.264?
Yes, my suggestions is best to save space IMO, newer technology
So does this actually the export the file to 4k which was originally 1080p ?
Is this helpful for what's app reducing quality?
Thx a lot !
can't find Mbps part in my mac " get info " section. where else can i find ?
mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download You can do that using this program
Thanks.
It worked but I'm having problems reproducing the entire video in all my video players. My video is 2 hours long, but it only reproduces well in the first 1 hour
Thx was very helpfull. Get better mic sir that would improve the video 200%.
Thanks, Ive upgraded since this video 👍
Premiere Pro is so annoying to export stuff. I put in a 400 mb 720p video and 200 mb audio and get a 2 gb file with 0,19 bitrate.
what if my file is 8gb what would the target bitrate be?
very good
Thank u Bro
my video is 2min but stilltaking 6 hours pls tell
set the bitrate a lot lower
Will the video sustain UA-cam compression algorithms!?
Hey, Ive written about that here: videowithjens.com/premiere-pro-youtube-export/
@@videowithjens thanks much
HOW MUCH MB FOR EXPPORTING TO WHATS APP
does this work ? cuz i render my files in sony vegas pro 18 but its still big and my internet is bad i would like to keep the quality and have lower files
This works
My raw file is 1.8GB and these settings take it down to 1.7GB. Does that mean that the original file was already very well compressed?
Hey, if you have filmed your video in a lossy codec like H.264 etc. it's likely very compressed already. However, if it's a lossless codec then I would ignore the tip about the "original file's bitrate" and instead test different bitrates until you are satisfied.
@@videowithjens Thanks, that makes sense. I filmed it on a Google Pixel, so maybe that compresses the hell out of it straight away.
@@coentertainer Yeah, phones usually do some hardcore compression by default. But you still gotta set the correct export settings in Premiere Pro to avoid unecessary huge files.
can't find HEVC(H.265) where can I get it ?
Is Premiere up-to-date?
this doubled the size of my video actually..
you can probably set the bitrate lower then
no good, file is still way too big. need advice on making it smaller
Decrease bitrate more
@@videowithjens what if the original bitrate from the video is 50mbps?
@lucidreams303 Use H.265 and lower the bitrate as much as you can before seeing quality loss
HEVC H65 not showing ?
H264 is good too
I have really messed up moving my files from the SSD i used with my Ninja V to my 4TB Seagate external hard drive. Im having to create proxies. I am afraid the final file size will be too big once i add the OG files back. Do you think using these settings in your video will help?
These settings will reduce your file size yes, using a final codec. So if your video is finished they work very well
