If low end and mid range is strong then top end is not required at all. Been driving for 15 years and don't remember when was the last time I took the engine over 3500 RPM.
1.2 ltr Kappa motor is very good...Hyundai should tune it a bit for performance...the engine initially introduced was worst in fuel efficiency even in smaller cars..But as the time goes with repeatedly minor changes to it,,it has become fairly better in fuel efficiency..So Hyundai should minorly tune for a little more performance..

Just test drove a CNG Sportz version (they only had that model at the dealership)- even that car felt much more comfortable and driver friendly than the Ignis which I am also considering. The only sore point I thought was rear seat legroom and the rear door sill which is a bit high set if elderly have to get in and out. On that count, the Ignis and especially Wagon R score well. But in terms of interiors and overall build quality (GNCAP notwithstanding) this car felt better .

Well if you are an enthusiasts look no further then Figo..Great Car specially the deisel...Its A hoot to drive... But you want a bit if luxury with fairly decent performance and almost fairly of anything then Nios..
Faisal bro it is actually not lethargic in all parameters if you judge it by the grunt but the play is not clanky the transmission is pretty awesome but however I and including all the Nios owners feel troublesome to shift slightly upwards then rear otherwise it is a very good package and fits and meets my all criteria what actually I was looking into ❤️🌹

The petrol engine is silent af , you won't require an insulation..i used to drive a honda city (diesel) and then i got Gi10 nios petrol..my god i couldn't hear a thing and now the honda's sound keeps bugging my ears 😖
