What a mgnificent joy ! We would like to have a presentation of these two young and joyfull musicians ! They deserve it !Thanks to them for this suspended moment.
@@PereJoanSala9 Yeah probably true, can confirm. I don't play guitar, but played violin in trios and quartets and since there is no conductor you have to convey the intended tempo and the point of starting or re-entry through breathing, head motions, the bow etc.
Mad Rush is one of my funeral playlist. I always love to hear it and in different version. Two acoustic guitars? I was sceptic at first but you blew me away. Amazing work! I consider your interpretation to torment the people I'll leave behind.
With it being played on two instruments-quite exquisitely, I must add!-really brings out the subtleties of this enchanting piece, I've listened to this many times and it never pales, I love life.
Wunderschön 😍🥰 you touch my heart and soul with your lovely guitar playing . music like this is the best way of life and to feel it ! 💖💛💚 You both are beautiful musicians! 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏
This is lovely interpretation of Phillip Glass's music. As a post modernist philosophy, minimalism is about stripping away the veneer and embellishments, to reveal the bare essentials, hence the term, minimalism. It's intention is to reveal the core nature of reality, the mundane and pedestrian, divorced of it's highs and lows, it's climaxes and depths. Any minimalist music should be approached with this understanding.
Glass's minimalist music, I feel, is very hard as it takes so much concentration on the repetitions. But these two young peoples doing such a tricky piece of music, fingerpicking on acoustic guitars is brilliant!
Really fantastic performance... The musicianship really comes through. Thanks so much for sharing! (Y'all should really record this in a more expansive acoustic. (A pretty close mic placement, but in a huge cathedral, would just be fantastic.)
Nice effort, nice sound. BUT NO, You can't breath at the end of every phrase in a music that is supposed to flow. Even Glass didn't play it like that. Or at least use a rubato, steal first tsome time and then give it back. The left guitar is louder than the right one. So it disturbs the balance quite! Nice choice of piece though.
There were moments that I stopped breathing... Someone should tell Philip Glass about this. You give him great honor.
Yes I agree thank you
Amazing. I hope Mr. Glass has had the pleasure of hearing this. Bravo to you both.

C'est magnifique ! La guitare apporte une légèreté particulière à ce chef d'ouvre de P. Glass. Merci de votre talent !
2:47 start almost made me cry. The gates of heaven opening up to you, now, in this moment.
I think this is the first time I gave a UA-cam video a standing ovation. Bravo! D.C With repeats!
This is absolutely fantastic. I didn't think this song could get any more beautiful, thank you for proving me wrong.
Love the girl expresion at 5:43 haha
Luciano Lizana “Let’s play!”
I think she do it because it's no easy to enter at the same time and in this point, with force, it will be more dificult any small mistake

Nice choice of piece though.
great performance and lyrical arrangement, however, it does not have that zen characteristic of the piece
Stoners.
