that's my favourite episode you've done, and the best TOW content I've seen or heard. When i came back to the hobby after skipping 4th to 8th ed and settling on WAP when i came back, I was really depressed to see the way the narrative side of things had been completely replaced by tournament play, and yours is my favourite of the TOW channels because, whilst you go to tournaments, you go to play and have fun, not to win, and you talk about the game without wading knee deep in the meta and optimisation chat, and Josh brings all the chat about his campaign. It was great to see your enthusiasm and excitement as Dono described his way of playing, I really hope you do more of this sort of content
13:00 The closest official war on the timeline that I could find was the War of Sand and Snow; 2281-2286: The War of Sand and Snow where Settra the Imperishable sacks the entire nation of Norsca to reacquire the plunder loot stolen from Khemri
ToW feels like 6th to 8th players and like 8th to 6th players feels like one of those crutch arguments people use when they're not actually interested in thinking or discussing something. Like a teacher who punishes both kids for fighting because they can't be bothered to find out who started it for whatever reason.
I’m a sixth edition player and it feels like six edition more than anything else to me otherwise it wouldn’t be playing it. Sixth mixed with ancient battles and then has about three stupid rules from eighth.

19:31 I feel like that has to break some kind of consumer law 😂 even for GW it would be next level
