Motorcyclist Critical After Woodland Hills Crash Involving Suspected DUI Driver

WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES, July13 (KNN) - A motorcyclist is in critical condition as a result of a traffic collision involving a suspected DUI driver early Saturday morning.
Los Angeles police officers and fire department personnel responded to a reported vehicle versus motorcycle collision shortly after midnight in the 21000 block of West Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills.
Upon arrival, responders found a motorcyclist down and immediately began CPR. LAPD Valley Traffic Division officers administered a DUI test to the vehicle driver, who was subsequently taken into custody.
The circumstances regarding the traffic collision remain unclear. The motorcycle rider, transported in critical condition, was taken to a local trauma center.
