How to use a custom crosshair in Paladins

I'm ashamed to have recorded a Paladins tutorial in 2024, but since a lot of people have been asking me about it, here it is.
No voice over since the video speaks by itself but if you have any doubts:
- Go to Documents → My Games → Paladins → ChaosGame → Config → ChaosGame (if you open game files from steam, it will be a different file called DefaultGame, which won't have the stuff needed to change your crosshair);
- If you have the Read-only checkbox marked, unmark that or you won't be able to save the file after you modify it;
-Edit your stuff to bReticleBloom=true, bReticleColor=1, nReticleColor=9 and nReticleType=9
This removes your crosshair because Paladins doesn't have more than 8 crosshair types and colors, so it becomes invisible.
I personally use hudsight to create my custom crosshairs, but there are free and paid crosshair softwares out there that you can use. Hudsight is 6 or 7 dollars iirc.

Hello ! I bought the program, I did my crosshair but it doesn't appear in the game. I opened paladins first and then the Hudsight, and then the other way around but there is no case of it appearing. Do you know why it doesn't appear?

@MikyUSKT you could try to run the program as administrator and enable real overlay (that's what I do)
Also try checking whitelist mode and allow paladins.exe or any games that you want to use hudsight on.

Just 6x2 with black outlines. Blue and white is also kinda nice instead of yellow.

can you show how to use aim assist? PC controller + mouse I have dualsense but aim assist turns off when I pick up the mouse(

take it as a sign to stop being PC roller merchant and pick up mouse like real man

I don't use controller but iirc, dualsense is kinda bad for that because you need to use ds4windows to make it work. And a lot of players who use dualsense lose their aimassist midgame randomly or if they alt tab in and out of the game. Unfortunately I don't know how to make it work or how to fix those things :/
Most of the japanese players who play on controller use ps4 controller, so you can easily use it with big picture mode from steam or with the epic launcher. Not sure about players from other servers
