The sheep should be named Cumulus, after the fluffy clouds that look like sheep’s wool.
Plus clouds make snow, fitting with the bases theme
or keep it simple and at that point just call it 'cloud'

I love the fact tango has been buried in a hole for god only knows how long . Then zed turns up with a gem from season 5 and tango is like a kid at Christmas

Either that or it's the oxygen deprivation. Ventilation in the dungeon is practically non-existent, really hazardous to be down there for too long.
The Zed/Tango friendship is one of my favorites on the server.
I don't get exactly what this is about. I only started watching around season 6
Zed is the physical embodiment of “make your own fun” in Minecraft. It’s honestly incredible how creative he is with this game.
"I did some mining off camera" UA-camrs have *nothing* on the insane progress Tango makes every episode!
And we get to watch him do a lot of the grind on stream.

"I did some mining off camera" is modifying the word youtubers. They mean the type of youtubers that say they did mining off camera and clearly just cheated to get a bunch of stuff instead of grinding for it.
So even people who cheat can't compare to the progress Tango makes each episode.

Drowned will only leave the water at night. During day time they will stay in the water. You should test to see if Willie get's out of the lake when someone's down there at night.
Could be an interesting twist on the 'Difficulty Settings' side of the game...
Scores logged seperately for a Day Run or a Night Run... Depends on the AI of the Drowned vs Level Design of the lake "biome".
In other words, as long as Bdubs is on the server, the drowned wouldn’t leave the water

Don’t forget in season 7 you promised hypno 5 keys for decked out 2 whenever it might be, because he completed a challenge of decked out 1 of bringing a bone and rotten flesh out of the dungeon

The portal tower is amazing, but the portal itself is very rectangular. If you want, you can ask Doc to change that for you...

I was thinking the same, I LOVE False's design but all of the intricate bits are below the portal, which are covered when you're standing on the walkway or in the Great Hall.. the only thing you see is the rectangular portal
I love the design though, and I think maybe even just some ice at the top of the portal would help a ton!!

I actually like how thin the pillars to false's portal bridge are. They seem so uncanny and sinister because they're so spindly
i would prefer it if they are gone. so that the bridge is not only almost, but completly floating. That would make the impression, that the kristal-spikes at the side of the bridge are lifting the whole construct in the air more outstanding.

The portal frame looks awful by comparison.
Maybe add some obsidian around the portal frame to round it off so it's not a big rectangle in the middle of all those graceful curves and spikes.
Or see if Doc can roundificate it a little.

False also kept the remains of the old portal, turned it into a ruined portal.

I like the idea of not showing level 4. I can watch level 4 with no spoils and not scream and my screen when a hermit does something wrong on level 4
Maybe practice your emotional management skills if you scream at your screen when someone plays a game suboptimally just because they don't know everything you do
Let's not normalize children screaming at their screen just bc someone plays a video game in a different way than you want them to

In order for it to work, nobody but Tango can see it. If it's seen, then it kinda breaks the terror, especially for the heavy players. There's only so many ways you can line up that area within that space and make it good with the content he had planed for level 4.

I love how, if anyone else asks tango to come and do something, usually he's like "hmm, no, im busy, sorry" but Zed just has to glance meaningfully in his direction and he's like "IM ON MY WAY!" no hesitation, without even knowing what it is zed wants. its always so much fun seeing them together
Your voice when Zed passed you the hat, 😂. I always love your collabs with Zed. You introduced me to him years ago and he quickly became one of my favourite hermits to watch.
Edit: while I really wanted to see what lvl 4 looked like, I totally appreciate your approach to it. Looking forward to seeing hermits discover it.

As much as I love watching any of the hermits colab in stuff there is just something magical about a Tango/Zedaph session. You can just hear the joy in Tangos voice. You know he is grinning ear to ear the whole way through.
Zedaph shaves 20-30 years off anyone he interacts with. 😂
Tango! In the great hall you should put a board that has a list of all the mobs you have in decked out, and their names, and you keep a kill counter for them

a note for you about the drowned: I believe that drowned will actually leave the water to chase players if it's nighttime, but not in daytime. Of course, once they de-aggro they'll pathfind their way back to the closest water source, but just in case you should probably make sure that there are no other water sources nearby so the drowned doesn't get stuck in there.
having recently been shambled after by drowned on a riverbank at night, can confirm yes drowned will leave the water at night to chase players. if they lose aggro they kind of just gurgle around a little in place for a bit then eventually pathfind back to the nearest water.

Hear me out: name the sheep Elphabaa because it was born Defying Gravity. Also, the supports could be alright if you stretched the ice spikes along the walkway down to the earth (as if a mysterious force grew them while trying to deter trespassers). False did an amazing job and it looks so good and blends with the environment perfectly.

You should wait with the sculk veins until level 4 is open. This can be a good indicator that something change in the dungeon

Not showing us level 4 is genius! It's going to be a community experience on live streams for someone (Etho) to earn their way into it. It reminds me of the Call of Duty zombies easter egg hunt whenever a new map is released and the whole community is working together and watching someone finally solve it live.

Suggestion for an item for the shop: Item frames that players can take into the dungeon. They could be used anywhere to stash important items for next runs, so if you got the artifact but getting out seems unlikely, you could stash it somewhere and retrieve it when luck is on your side. Or maybe you find an item for a side activity you wish to keep for another run. Importantly, all hermits are allowed, even encouraged, to loot such staches. This way they must be hidden, preferably in dangerous places where nobody goes snooping.

In almost 12 years of Minecraft this is the dumbest thing I ever saw. I LOVE IT! I laughed so hard with the whole endeavor. Funny and brilliantly executed. Thank you Tek and Zed for this absolutely golden moment.
When the first baby was made and felt down I could only think about the whale in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. "And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Wow, False knocked that portal completely out of the park. It's absolutely perfect and I really like that the support pillars are so narrow - it somehow mirrors the points of the pointy bits.

Tango never fails to absolutely boggle my mind. Like. The sheer dedication to one project is admirable and incredible and even with DO2 not quite finished just yet I’m still in utter awe of how far it’s come along and the countless hours poured into it. (Heaven knows I’d never be able to build anything like it-I’m a builder not a redstoner)

I actually think tango did the designing to all levels except level 3. I love tango for his well-rounded knowledge of the game, he isn't just a builder or a Redstoner, he's really both.

One eyed willy will shoot at players on land if it is night time. During daytime they are passive to players on land but not in water. So depending on the time of day that room is either deadly or only semi deadly. 😂

11:00 actually learned a bit about how the AI works for them by watching one of Grian's videos from season 6 of when the trident holding Drowned from the trident shop was throwing tridents at Grian when it was night while he was building the "You Lazy Sod Cart". So the Drowned will throw tridents at players regardless of time if the player is in water or rain but during the day if the player is not in water or rain the Drowned will ignore the player
False did an amazing job with the bridge to the Portal, but i feel like the portal itself could've received a little more love. Right now its way too much square-ish.
And as much as the icy spikes fit the theme, they take away the attention from the castle itself. Maybe trim a little bit of the edges, so the view of the Castle is uninpeded from those walking the bridge ?
This is going to be so great!. Honestly, I think this is the best season ever for games already and we're not even considering decked out yet it's going to be bonkers.

The sheep shenanigans were so funny lol. I think the portal frame itself could do with blending in a bit with the surroundings, it does look a bit weird. Perhaps some spikes coming off it so hide the rectangle of obsidian more.
The funniest part besides this whole episode was X telling Ren in the chat "don't let me die Ren " and Ren goes "X1 I got you" back lol 29:30

I’m so glad that the Burning Dark came later, it’s an absolutely beautiful level that deserved all the hype. One-Eyed Willie is the true MVP of Level 2, and probably the entire dungeon. And of course, we have 20 minutes of pure Zed and Tango chaos!
(Also, I just miss his theme music lmao)
Decked Out obscure check list:
- Trophy for completing the gauntlet and automatically dispensed
- 5 Frozen Shards for Hypno for the custom quest he completed in DO 1.
- Mama Ravager in ravager den behind dripstone
I probably forgot other obscure things, but these are things you mentioned wanting to do that was not on last stream's list

But maybe add some "shape camouflage" around the portal, so it is not just a square, but maybe a spike, or oval, or a "shard"-like thingy, or something.
Basically add a *non-square* border around it & a bit more 3D thickness. (inspiration example: Grians rift to the other server, before it closed, or some other shape)
