Awesome video! I don't understand b13 on the C7 going to Fmaj7 (10:45). Sounds amazing but b13 isn't a minor extension? How do you see that? Like C+7? Thought mixo b9 b13 was used on dominants going to minor chords. Hope you or someone can give me an answer! Thanks a lot ❤

This is my problem until this time since I started to play guitar 12 years ago. I know how to play scales by imitating others, but can't improve it for myself. I dont even know which one is root, 3, 5, 7, 9, etc. Still stuck ever since.
well , it's depend on your goal ! look at Metallica for exemple theu dont need to be experts in theory to create amazing stuff .. kirk know only scales shapes penta/harmonic minor/ phyrgian .. in this video it's more jazz than rock/metal ..when u play on complexe chords other than major minor and sevens .. thing start getting serious there :D !

ケニー・バレルのフレーズ（Chittlins Con Carneのテーマリフ）やマイク・スターン、パット・マルティーノと言った名も出てきて英語がわからずとも凄く楽しかったです。ジョー・パスへの敬意やトモさんが影響されてきたであろうギタリストへのリスペクトが感じられて本当にいつもどの動画も楽しいです。これを見る前にアコースティックのストロークの３Levelsを見てました。
単純なストロークでもピッキング次第でものすごくトーンへの影響が出るのだとよく理解が出来る素晴らしい動画だと思いました。フレーズのアイディアとかの説明も素晴らしいですね。
あくまで僕個人的に感じたことなのですが僕はトモさんの左手を余り見ていた無いことに気が付きました。ギターは左手で音程となるポジションを押さえますが音を出すのは右手ですよね。気がつくといつもトモさんの右手を見てるんです。ダウンなのか？アップなのか？オルタネイトなのか？手首が返っているのだろうか？肘からからストレートにストロークやピッキングをしているのだろうか？どんな表情で弾いているのだろうか？そんなどこばかりが気になります（笑）
どこで聴いたか記憶は曖昧ですがトモさんは聴こえない音は弾かないとおっしゃってましたよね？
僕もその意味が最近やっと理解できた気がします。頭の中で聞こえると言うか記憶した音じゃないととてもじゃないですが実際にプレイすることが出来ません。それでも間違うし粗が目立つし練習しなければキチンとは弾けません。きっと多くの人は左手を重点的に見て運指のパターンとして覚える人が多いのかもしれませんが（事実少年時代の僕もそうでした）音の世界のなので先ずは音をよく理解するのが大切なんだなと日々思い続けてます。
だから今取り組んでいる曲（独奏エチュードのBlues For Joe）はひたすら聴き込んでます。ベースランニングがどうしても耳で覚えきれずタブ譜に頼ってしまいましたが^^;
それでも上手く弾けないのでひたすらゆっくりと各パートごとに分けてゆっくりと練習してます。
上手く弾けなくてもギターを弾けることがとても楽しいです。こんなふうに思えるようになれたのはすべてトモさんのおかげだと思ってます。
ちなみに今年はトモさんの独奏エチュードだけしかコピーしないと決めてます。(*^^)v
トモさんのギターの音色はお話されているようなお言葉、声、表情、丁寧に伝えようとする意思、ジョークも交えながらも今まで培った経験、幸せなことや苦労したことも全て真摯に受け止められたであろう強さ、優しさ、人を思いやる気持ちがギターにこれほど表現されている人がいるでしょうか？
同じ時代に生きていられることを幸せに思います。本当にいつもありがとうございます！
いつもご丁寧にありがとうございます。アコギのヴィデオも。ピッキングは気になりますね。フィンガリングはいつも力を入れないように気にします。聴こえないことは弾かないです。正直に生きたいので。そのように決めています。独奏エチュードは、かなり考え込んで作ったものなので弾く内容はバッチリだと思います。内容が弾けたらそれをどのように工夫してベストで弾くか？それが課題です。人生はどんなに頑張っても山あり、谷ありです。無理しないでゆっくり長く頑張りたいです。
