This song takes me back to being my younger teen self. I’d definitely listen to this on repeat while chilling in my room late at night. I’m not ancient or anything (only 21 haha) but idk this just feels very comforting and nostalgic. Thank you for making this ❤
It's funny, because i did, and still do the same stuff, im 19 right now, but yeah, I'd never think id really be too nastolgic over what im doing right now, but I guess I will be. Thanks.
Im 14 right now, life sucks but I know I'm gonna regret wanting to grow up, I want to stay young, no matter if being a teen sucks, I hope you have a good life man! I want to save this world in the future.
This is like remembering happier times, times that are long gone. It reminds me of the good times I used to have with my friends before things happened that forever changed everything our friendship had. They're still around, it's just not the same anymore.
Hi, I found this song around two months ago, and I've listened to it a lot since, I think it is beautiful, unique, thought provoking, and has one the kindest sounds that I've heard in a song, it is genuinely special
Man im so glad i stayed up and didn’t go to bed, even though my head feels like its about to explode (it really hurts) from being up, i dont think i would’ve came across this if i hadn’t. Wish i heard this sooner but oh well better late than never haha. Someday i’d like to make some stuff like this. Gonna check out more of your stuff now, hope you’re doing well :)
Dude thank you! That's funny because I'm up with a migraine right now myself. (8:18 am and I haven't slept since Christmas morning lol) id like to help you make something like this in any way that I can. Thanks for watching/listening, I deeply appreciate you
This song brought me to tears. It feels so nostalgic, you start to remember the best times of your life, and if you listen to the words, it becomes even more dreary. Soulful song.❤
That's beautiful:) the times like this are absolutely the best times of my life, watching the birds with my best friend in the world. Thank you I really appreciate you !!
So lovely. Even on my tiny phone speaker it's making me all tingly. It sounds like the soundtrack of an unforgettable indie game I played over and over them forgot for a while, and just rediscovered.
@@vacafuega thank you!! you just reminded me of the game penpalz, it's soundtrack was very inspiring around the time I made this. I really appreciate you
there’s something about this video… the beat, the cinematography, the visual effects, it all just feels like it… belongs. Like everything in here has a purpose and it’s properly followed. I’d like to thank the algorithm for recommending me this artistic journey, and to you, uploader. Thank you for giving me the pleasure of experiencing this feeling. -Jimothy
Thank you! Yeah I used Audacity, a vintage Casio toy keyboard, omnichord, and the guitar was actually played by my partner (featured in this video). they didn't know the song was going to be about them when they recorded their part. The background noise was from a storm I recorded on a tape recorder in my backyard on my dad's birthday. I appreciate you!
@@jessecole9277 like the program/DAW? I used Audacity for this one but I don't recommend it. I use reaper now. It's free and has soo many great features, I love it.
Music has such a profound effect on us. It touches our hearts in a way that can never be replicated. It can make us happy. It can make us sad. It can make us fall in love, and it can break our hearts. For many, music is the best way to relive a memory, to feel the same way now as they did then. In that way, music also serves as a reminder. That time goes by, even as the song itself is playing. There's no going back to those days, and that's what makes these songs so special.
Absolutely. Everything is a sort of time capsule but nothing more than music, in my opinion. It can yank feelings out of you like nothing else in such an unexplainable way. Humans are made for music and vice-versa. Thanks for listening!!
@@abasement666I should have thanked you earlier. I came back to this earlier while I was drunk and started crying. You see, I have a problem with substance abuse and I've been trying to stop for a while now. Music has been such an integral part of my life and now I feel I've been starting to lose that. All these days are going by so quickly. Everything's changing. I can't seem to see the end. I want my life back. I want to be happy again. I want to hear music and be happy.
@@Samuelisakson I wish I personally knew what to say to help you through substance issues but I've never been able to find the right thing. I guess the best thing you can do for reviving your love for art is a sort of sensory deprivation period from mostly streaming, but definitely substances. The drinks manipulate you through poisons whose effects dissipate while art and music gets you intoxicated through emotions that only increase over time! I know it's like a parasite that affects everyone differently but even in the height of my personal periods of constant drinks and/or weed I always felt I was in a one sided relationship. Idk where I'm even going with any of this and I'm probably not saying anything you don't already know lol. No amount of getting fcked up has ever compared to soberly hearing the song I listened to as a 10 year old with my (now deceased) cat on my chest. (Gorillaz - to binge) Sorry to waffle or get preachy. I'm here for you in any way that I can be though. if you'd like to talk more you can message me on Instagram @ awesomemolly
love it! it gives the vibe of someone playing in another room but I'm home alone so it's scary, but also I'm at ease beacuse the music is too good to question where or whose playing it, so I decide to fall asleep instead.
