Hey There! Idea for summer supper (besides what you suggested which we love as well) is grilled burgers on the grill or in a skillet with cottage cheese salad on the side. Container of cottage cheese, diced onion, diced fresh tomato, and salt and pepper. Mix together, cover, and place in the fridge until ready to serve. So good and cool along with the burger. Could have a side salad as well. We love it!
Miss Lady is a bit jealous, I think. She will get better as the puppy grows up a bit more❤.
I laughed out loud throughout this video…especially when you panned the camera toward LB while telling the story of Duke jumping up at the table😅… oh and the lake video of the kids flying across that lake… oh my goodness!😂

Unstuffed Peppers (The Hillbilly Kitchen) Becky is in your neck of the woods, Marty, I change mine to 1/2 burger 1/2 spicy sausage, taco spices, hot diced jalapeños peppers diced red & green bell peppers, and an onion, cook it, dip it into a tortilla wrap roll the sides in add Lettice, sour cream shredded cheese as desired Glenn (in Kentucky)
Summertime we like salads something like tuna macaroni salad. With onions green peppers radishes little salary, tomatoes all diced of course. Mix little little ranch dressing and Hellman's mayonnaise. By itself or served with maybe ribs are pork chops or steak or chicken. Then of course you got potato salad made basically about the same way only with potatoes. Maybe a can of Bush's baked beans chilled. Or maybe bacon lettuce and tomato sandwiches.
BLT's or since I put onion in mine I call them BOLTS Sandwiches. Or
Hot wings / French fries & Toss Salad!
I have had to use that de-skunk recipe three times and it really works. I make sure I have the ingredients on hand at all times. The first time I used it I put it in a spray bottle and that doesn't work. You have to wash them down with it and leave it on them for 5-10 minutes. It will get the odor off yourself also.

I make super nachos I cook up some ground beef and heat up some beans and melt some velveta cheese and grab a bag of corn chips and chop up an onion and jalapeños put it all on a large plate and sit it in the middle of the table and everyone can help themselves

Meredith I am glad to know I wasn't the only one washing a stinking dog last week. I put my two year old pittie outside at 3am for a potty, and he saw the lil black and white kitty and went to friend it. Black and white kitty didn't want to be his friend. So I was outside giving him 3 baths at 3am. His name was Diesel and now his name is stinky left eye. But luckily today Pepe Lepew was laying flat as a pancake in front of the house, I'm hoping that was the only one around here. If'n yall need a hand with hay I'm available.and I'm only a few hours away.

Things that I like when the temps are high,,,, light sandwiches....tuna,chicken salad, ham salad sandwiches... even cold cut sandwiches. Salmon patties,,,, Really, anything that is not a "heavy" meal. Even fried fish or seafood is good. Pulled pork, shredded geef or chicken sandwiches with bbq sauce.

Favorite summer meal is a mixed salad with turkey pieces and pickled onions covered in mayonnaise. Absolutely delicious on a hot day
Cold elbow macaroni salad with tuna,boiled egg slices,white sweet onions chopped, mayo salad dressing.salt n pepper to your taiste, pickle rellish. This is one of my favorite cold dishes for hot summer evenings. I loved to watch a hard working family enjoying life together with much needed RNR. Good ole ham and cheese sandwiches with either tater salad, cole slaw or even tater chips. There's no heating the house (kitchen) up and making the electricity bill go up or making the house hotter.

One of my favorite summer things is pasta salad with what ever you like in it… I like pepperoni and cut my cheese up in little cubes and whatever vegetables u like.
And I love Olive Garden dressing on it ❤
And have cold things with it applesauce or cottage cheese. And of course crackers

v8 juice will remove the smell we always used that in mississippi and alabama works great, are just plain old tomato juice both works

Hello have you every tried cornbread with squash in it it’s great .just mix your cornbread mix up then grade your squash in (every how much u want ) with your corn bread mix pour in your skillet and bake . After your first try u can judge how much squash u want in it . Hope u all enjoy it .

Hi Meredith from MI ❣️ Some ideas on summer meals: cold pasta salads, potato salad, chicken salad sandwiches, cold pancakes with ice cream toppings, grilled hot dogs & chips, chilled carrot/celery sticks with sour cream & cream cheese dip, tacos, taco salad, tuna salad sandwiches, pigs in blankets with fresh fruit salad, french toast with pure maple syrup, eggs & bacon on toast, cold mac & cheese with hot dogs or smoked sausages, grilled hamburgers, steaks, chicken to use for cold sandwiches, salads or cold salad in a taco. These are some of the meals my mother had and I had with my two boys. Sometimes we ate homemade pudding popcicles with cold milk. Be creative like fish tacos with tarter sauce, cold shrimp with marinara sauce, etc. I hope you can use any and/or some of these ideas. 👍🥰

In the summer we grill out a lot. We make chicken wings or bbq chicken. Or bbq ribs. Or sausage or kilbassa. Grill hamburgers/cheeseburgers or steaks. Salmon on the grill is good too. & we usually make enuff that we have leftovers for another night, so its just heat & eat. & it tastes even better reheated. We usually grill out on the weekends & make enuff extras so we have a couple/few meals for the week that we can just heat & eat. & then a night or 2 in between we have sandwiches. Turkey or ham & cheese. Or taco's. We usually have potato salad(store bought) or mac n cheese)store bought already made heat & eat), baked beans or green beans or mashed potatoes(store bought already made, just heat & eat) with dinners.
We have been getting the rain everyday for the last I don’t know how long and we still have it coming in for the next week. Rain,lightning and thunder very very bad on the Mississippi gulf coast

On hot griddle place 4 ounces of hamburger flattened on a small tortilla. Grill for 6 minutes burger side down. Flip over and place cheese on burger until it melts. Then fold it like a taco and put any seasoning or toppings you like and enjoy.
For a quick meal i like to hve grilled cheese or frid egg samwich .
The kids was haveing to much fun on the raft, was funny seeing them getting flipped off. I am glad you made them to wearing life jackets. A perfect swimmer can drown

We like pasta salad-penne pasta, chopped spinach, vandalism’s onions, tomatoes, feta cheese crumbled, chicken, and black olives. Season with olive oil mixed with spices including black pepper salt and garlic powder.
I always try to watch your videos around supper time because it never fails that I get hungrier than a grizzly bear after a long winters nap. My warm or day go to food is always a coffee mug of tomato soup and a BLT or ham Velvetta cheese sandwich. Raises the body temperature to make it bearable outside. Enjoyed the boat ride. Glad to see y’all having some well deserved family time. Helps keep a smile on my face and happy songs in my heart.

Egg salad sandwiches, tuna salad, sandwiches salad Five layer salad, tater tot casserole, tater tot Egg casserole with bacon and sausage or macaroni, salad and potato salad, clothes slaw those are a few things that I eat when it’s miserably hot outside and don’t care to cook. You can always have that prepped and ready to go before hand lol.

Boil em, slice in half, take a spoon and spoon out seeds....Use it and make a casserole mixture, add back into where u spooned out....Add some cheese, bake till cheese melts Serve.....They yummy
I remember baling square hay bails many years ago on our farm. Loading hundreds of bails on the trailer, pitching them in the barn and stacking in the heat of the summer was one of the hardest and dirtiest things i have ever done. Then someone invented round bales!
Grilled chicken and corn on the cob from our neighbors garden has really been delicious .
The boating and the turbine look like it was a lot of fun. Something I stumbled on a couple years ago for skunk smell is pet urine spray. I've used it several times on the dog and where the skunk sprayed. I use Resolve Urin Destroyer, but there are other brands.
