i agree. i actually like Dan way more than i normally like a newer host, but i still miss Luke and Oli and the dynamic they had.
That duo does AEW dynamite review most of the time.
They also do all wwe ple reviews together
Seeing as how last year’s Rumbles were all about breaking records, I think both winners this year are going to be from numbers that haven’t had a winner yet
Punk at 21 or 26 or Cody at 9 could fulfill that.
If you want to adjust correctly for the double draw rather than Tempest give Luke a number, (8 would have been pulled for Laurie, then each number would bump down 1.) I have the draws.
Luke - 12, 11, 18, 29, 13
Pete - 22, 28, 16, 4, 24
Tempest - 14, 20, 7, 10, 30
Laurie - 26, 8, 23, 19, 9
Sullivan - 6, 17, 3, 21, 2
Sat - 27, 1, 5, 25, 15

So if Luke hadn't double pulled for Tempest, Sullivan would have won with Bayley from number 3. However, Sat still gets the final pick of 15.
Luke’s point that the women’s winner will be from SD because the men’s winner will be from Raw doesn’t matter considering both winners have picked the SD title for the last 3 years in a row. (Plus Cody and Rhea won last year when they’re both from Raw)
I would love to see Bayley win, challenge Rhea and then switch her decision to Iyo once the Damage Ctrl fallout happens.
Has anyone ever changed their challenge before like that?
My Predictions:
Bayley to win Women's Rumble
Logan Paul to retain the U.S Title
Reigns to retain Undisputed Universal Championship
Gunther to win the Men's Rumble

While I think Roman will win, I'd like to see Orton win, setting up Orton vs Cody for WM. Rock confronts Roman afterwards to set up Rock vs Roman for WM.
The Rock vs. Roman HAS to happen this year. It's Wrestlemania 40. What match is bigger to headline the 40th anniversary? For me, you do Rock and Roman for Night 2, and then do a Cody/Seth/Punk triple threat for the other night. It ticks all boxes that way, Cody can finish his story, Punk gets his Mania main event, Seth can have a safer match if needed, and you get the biggest match possible on night 2. That's how i'd play it. Rumble wise, if i went with the above then it's either Rock winning the rumble or they can do a Luger/Hart finish with Punk and Cody, and they both win. Then if Seth can't defend at Mania, then you crown a new cham with those 2, or if he can, thn you do the triple threat. I think that sounds fun.
I've been predicting Gunther to win the rumble for months and I'm sticking with that pick! He beats Seth, surrenders the IC title to Keizer, Keizer loses the title which leads to the collapse of Imperium when he loses the title Gunther never lost!
i can already hear tempest offering luke number 8 while he still has 20 21 23 and 30 haha

My prediction:
Cody wins the RR and challenges Roman. EC= Sami/ Jey/ Punk/ Drew/ B.Reed/ and another heel (maybe Finn or Ivar) to see who faces Seth. Punk wins.
Bayley wins RR to face Iyo. EC= Becky, Nia, Shyna, Z.Starks, Raquel, and (maybe Ivy or Liv if she’s back) to see who faces Rhea. Becky wins.

Bold prediction #8 wins the rumble and chaos ensues with Wrestle talk as Tempest turns ultra heel and refuses to give up the win to Luke's own mistake. BOOK IT TRIPS
I kinda hope it isn't Punk or Cody as it feels they are both talented enough to get their stories told another way. But if they're both going to be in title matches then I guess it has to be one of 'em!
I would really like it if Big E or Sami won. Big E because I miss him and Sami because there are a lot of interesting storylines that would come out of him winning. Cody and Punk don't need a Rumble win to get into the main event.

punk or cody will eliminate the other setting up their mania match. gunther wins challenges seth at mania. and rock vs roman at mania however they set it up (not too excited about that since it will be obvious roman retains, meaning roman will eventually break hogans record)

Ric flair was not the first iron man performance. He was the firsr iron man winner. Bret Hart was the iron man performer in the very first royal rumble, entering at number 1 and lasting almost to the end.

Naomi just dropped the TNA women's championship so I can definitely see her returning to WWE for the Rumble. It would be awesome if both Naomi and Sasha returned.

Next year, especially if there is a live event, what if you reversed the way you drew numbers for the Royal Jamble? You only have a few balls in the tombola, representing the entrants, and each time they are pulled, up to the number of times set for that many participants, and them they are removed from being pulled, and just go down the line as they are pulled 1-30. If it is at a live watch party, you could even have those entrants on stage cheering on their counterparts, trying to get the crowd into it, and if say, you wanted to have some surprises entrants like the real Rumble does, have them only get a single entry in case you want some out of country entrants to participate but be less likely because I'm sure international shipping of the belt isn't ideal.
Immediately thought of it. Could do 5 or 6 getting a singles pull for the Jamble. Or, you could do 6 main pulls, but before the pulls some kind of 1 on 1 competition. 3 matches. Whichever 3 lose get one less pull, with those extra pulls going to a surprise entrant.

Got some fantasy booking ideas for the run to WM40
Bayley V Iyo Sky at WM40
During the Rumble Damage Ctrl are dominating and clear the ring and as they wait for the next entrant both Asuka & Kairi throw Bayley over the top and eliminate her from the rumble. Bayley then turns face and wants the WWE women's champion at WM but she has to run the Gauntlet on either Smackdown or at the Chamber PLE where she has to beat Kairi, Asuka, a returning Dakota 🤞then finally the Champ Iyo Sky.
CM Punk doesn't win Rumble so at Elimination Chamber there will be a chamber match where winner faces Rollins at WM (CM Punk, Jey Uso, Damian Priest, Dirty Dom, Finns Balor, Kevin Owens)
Cody wins rumble, Solo is told to fix the problem so we get Cody V Solo at Elimination Chamber.
Just a few ideas I'd like to see. What do you guys think?

Surely there's room in the budget for Luke to get a new tombola considering how often it's used. Dan's right :P
I feel like as soon as they see that they have Cody's and Bayley's number at the rumble, whoever that is, will all of a sudden get super confident 😂😂 Also return of the tombola 🙌🏽🔥
Next year enter in to the spreadsheet in cell A1. =RND(1,30) or something like that to randomize a number between 1 and 30 - with extra bits you could remove duplicates but it's not worth doing. Sure it's not as exciting as rolling the bingo thing but at least you won't have to dive under tables.
Roman either goes on first or last. I don't see them doing his match mid card.
4 out of the last 6 rumbles had a winner from either 1 or 30, 1 from number 3 and the last one from 28. I feel like it's time to shake it up and pick someone from the middle of the pack, you can tell more stories than just the iron man and the opportunist.
If we want stories, Cody should enter at 19, since Roman and Cena both won from there, but also how about we start some new stories, use a number that has no winners

Imagine the fatal 4 way AJ and LA Knight (YEAH) have brawled off screen (maybe into the crowd) roman jaw jacking randy then IF YA SMELL!!!!!! the rocks music hits distracting roman who turns around into an RKO. Randy wins the title we set up a match for roman and the rock. and maybe a match for aj and la knight early in the show and Randy Orton VS Cody Rhodes at WM
That's a good idea but it's a very anti climatic way for Roman to end his historic title reign.
I’m calling it now so I can look back. Liv Morgan wins rumble and it’s Lynch vs Morgan vs Ripley at mania

4th. First 2 had same back to back winners, just like Luke with back to back Jam in Jar, and last year finally new winners.

I thought maybe Cody and Randy would win Sunday to set up a Legacy title match at Mania and Rock vs Reigns would just be for the Tribal Chief thing but I don't think so anymore
I think the winners will be no. 21 and no. 26 so they can say all of the last 10 numbers have produced at least 1 winner

Why did Sat leave Saturdays?
He didn’t “leave”. They reworked the podcasts/reviews so now they’re on different days. The smackdown review is now on Monday (combined with collision I think)
This Royal Rumble has the potential to be the best one yet. Logan defeats Kevin Owens. Roman retains his championship. The Rock appears at the end of the match. My pick for Women’s Royal Rumble is Becky Lynch. Bayley will be second choice. Naomi will return. Sasha Banks will join her too. Jade will make her in ring debut. As for Men’s Royal Rumble, this one is tough choice. My initial pick was Cody Rhodes. Then CM Punk returned. Then I changed my mind to Punk. Drew M has been highly involved stories in recent months. Maybe it’s Drew. Andrade will return. Imagine Okada makes his WWE debut at Royal Rumble. I’m just saying lol. With that being said, “I’m picking Cody Rhodes” to win for 2 straight years.
I also think Punk wins. The issue I have is that they’ve made the narrative that Punk wants to ‘main event’. We all know if he fights Rollins it’s not the main event. So why would he choose to fight Rollins? It does make me think Cody winning makes more narrative sense and then you can have Punk win a chamber match in Feb.
Cody will be number 1 as he needs the entrance.
Punk to win it by beating Cody last. They ciuld have Punk be 30 and repeat last years when Cody was 30 beating Gunther at 1.
Bayley to win the womens, slow turn on Damage CTRL as she works out they plan on backstabbing her.
As much as I want Cody to win, it's going to be CM Punk. There's NO F*** WAY they will choose anybody over him. It's his first match back (the Domink Mysterio one doesn't count) and WWE will not let him lose his first match back. It doesn't make sense. As much as they want us to think that Cody has a chance, IT'S PUNK YEAR. I'm not the biggest fan of him because of all the outside drama BS that happened, but the guy is an AMAZING performer and almost invincible on the mic, and the way he tells stories and presents himself to his audience. I want Cody, but I think CM Punk is a smarter choice and the one that makes more sense.
That being said, this may be the BEST build to Rumble that I've ever seen. The number of feuds and rivalries that can be made for Wrestlemania season and beyond is RIDICULOUS. And they all connect with each other's. There is A LOT going on beyond who will be the winner of the Rumble match.

Neither Cody or Punk are winning IMO. They're going to cost eachother the match somehow, leading to a "you ruined my moment, I'm supposed to be main eventing Wrestlemania and finish my story" feud. This let's Rock and Roman have that Wrestlemania title match. Roman keeps the belt for another year. Cody/Punk/Roman triple threat main event next year. Cody finishes story, Punk has WM main event, Roman empire finally falls after surpassing Hogan and Bauckland for title reign length.
I'm going with Gunther for the Seth feud that was teased,.

IIM SORRY, THIS NEEDS TO BE SAID!! Why is this Cody story thing so dam special? It definitely doesn’t prioritise Roman’s title reign. His title reign need’s to have a the Rock title defence to add to his historic title reign. It started with fighting his cousin and needs to end like that. All due respect, Cody’s story is not that important in comparison, I feel like he was promised things after fighting in that hell in a cell match injured against Seth. A better story has come to light in The Rock I’m sorry.
I think him fight Seth at WM and fighting for THAT title makes the most sense as that’s who he returned at mania and faced.NOW THAT FINISHING A STORY! I find it quite disrespectful that he mentioned that that’s not the title he wants as it has no history. Dude, that story suits you best, leave Roman’s title alone, you ain’t that guy to finish Roman’s story.
I see they had to ban Datson from participating in the Jamble this year. He's too powerful, after all.
Before Seth's injury Punk was the winner...after the injury its Cody. I think if Seth isn't making progress by the chamber they strip him of the belt and the chamber match is for the title with Punk, McIntyre, Jey Uso, Zayn, Shinsuke and Gunther. Punk wins, Then Seth can challenge Punk when he returns.
Instead of GUNTHER I think it's Bronson Reed since GUNTHER can't the leave the US right now
