They were divided up between Norfolk Southern and CSX...only leaving a small percentage in the Detroit area and in New Jersey. Through here, Conrail operates as a terminal railroad for local customers.
Thanks :) I just thought I'd get something special instead of just plain ole trains going through the crossing. They were there again working today, but this time, on the opposite track...and the gates were doing the same thing.
It's the way it does that at Railroad Crossing reactivate while the Gates are in the middle of going up, as how it was programmed for all Railroad Crossings in Trenton, Wyandotte, & Ecorse with the 2 Gated Signals & the 6 Mast Signals, the Gate on the East Side goes back down right away while the West Side waits a few seconds before the Gate goes back down, even if it's in the middle of raising the Gate. There's a Difference to it, as I know about this problem to what you're talking about.
It's the way it was programmed. The Mast Signals on the Inner Tracks will only work if there's a Train or a Malfunction on any of the Inner Tracks while on the Outer Tracks, the Back Lights will work for the same on if there's a Train or a Malfunction on any of the Outer Tracks while the Front Lights & the Gate Lights will always flash with the Bells ringing & the Gates lowering, no matter which Track the Train is on or no matter which Track is malfunctioning at the time.

Not this stretch of tracks that runs from Ecorse, MI to Trenton, MI. It's still Conrail here...due to the shared assets operations agreement. :)
They were stirring up the rocks and re-settling them, and that is the dust you see blowing.
Why are you breaking the crossing signals Rich? Lol :)
1:31 why is the gate here down and the one at the other side up?

why are some of the gateless signals not working?

i thought csx and ns took over conrail
It's still conrail through there because of the shared assets agreement
