I usually eat meals while watching these casts... you guys really ruined my meal this time, lol
I do the same! 🤢
I sucked up a rotten skunk with our companies 29HP debris loader wile cleaning up leaves yesterday. Didn't even put down my slim jim, despite the fact my eyes were watering.
lol same. but i jumped a bit in the video
Same
The person who submitted this must’ve seen the first Nord game and been like “I can beat that”
Best part of bronze games is that we get moments like this XD
If you leave early and your partner wins you will still get the win. At least that was the case a few years ago when I was playing 2v2
it still is the case nowadays
Heck; even if you lose all of your buildings, you are not eliminated until your *team* loses all of their buildings.
This channel is more of a podcast than a casting channel and I fucking love it.
Always has been 🔫👨🚀
Nice my video got in :) Yes if you leave the game and your ally wins it counts as a win for you
that's actually a form of cheese, in 2v2 / 3v3 / 4v4 where you have a really good player on their main, and the other three teammates roll random specifically to make things difficult for the opposing team. Load into the game, everyone builds their first worker, and usually, about 10 seconds in, the randoms all quit. The remaining player has control of the entire team's units, likely has the potential supply-cap of all three races, and they can hyper-optimize their main-race build to cut out all workers because they have the income from the departed allies.
"Lower back pain" - I felt that.
I feel that right now x_x
Hope these nord casts keep interest and replay quality high
ive been watching since the beginning days of your sc2 days, still the best dynamic duo on earth
This was the most 2v2 2v2 ever played
Mass BC carried this game. Speaking of one player feeding another, I recently watch a video of a Age of Empires 2 (remastered) 4v4 game as an example of a tournament-banned strategy. Basically, with the right nation picks you can get very efficient resources trading between players (the system taxes trades), so 3 players feed one player so they can advance rapidly and get a cheap, but powerful unit that's late in the tech tree that they can spam. Sure, one player gets destroyed because they have no units, but if the Chosen One techs fast enough they can save it.
And you're absolutely right about how BCs have improved since vanilla. I read up on how the unit has changed. Did you know the beta had an anti-ground missile barrage you could learn instead of Yamato Cannon? The teleport was really handy, but being immobile while firing made them so vulnerable. So you'd move in, do a bit of damage and then teleport out. Not worth the investment unless you mass them. Firing on the move came with a vulnerability as the teleport spools up for a second (it was instant before) and Yamato and weapons did a bit less damage per shot, but it still ends up being more dps.
i love u guys, u r my terrence&phillip. havent seen u guys in a while but now i'm binge watching all the new episodes. i remember back in the day jeff & adam were single and now i hear even jeff got a little mr black :')
Ya know, I was wondering what sound you were going to ask Jeff to make for Thanksgiving. This was... not on my expected-top-10 list.
This looks like those games on old Starcraft 1 I played when I was 7 years old against 1 computer opponent set to easy and I just turtle for 45 minutes on 1 base and move out with a 200/200 army.
The trick is getting every adult in your life to agree to no gifts. Kids in a very limited radius get gifts and that's it. Adults don't even want gifts. It's just awkward.
If you leave the game and your ally wins, you also get the win.
Yes, if your team wins, you win. Even if you left before the match has ended
Snoop Dog play us like a fiddle
Guys, WHAT THE FUCK! Why among all of the possible topics you decided to talk about shitting-farting, right when I sit down to watch the video while having a meal?!
One good thing about going to college in the states is that I don't have to get anyone anything for Christmas ever because student loans :) been paying for 13 years and only 18 to go
just get everyone a copy of the good old starcraft 2 for Xmas
Feeding resources was absolutely a team strategy.
10:16 for actual starcraft being casted
Bro, I feel you on the property taxes thing. The government decided to literally double my prop taxes this year, so now I'm getting screwed with an extra $400 a month on my mortgage😢
Not the lower back pain!
those BC's walked that man to victory
Hehe... what if Terran could do a power transfer from their Orbital CCs into wherever it is needed, like a ghost or banshee...OR even an allies unit/structure...
That was epic
It's a bit weird you can't hover over damage in replays, are you sure that's not just a setting you guys don't have on? I know by default SC2 has a lot of advanced options turned off.
love me some 2v2
these stories are great.
New Novawar says idea: BC Exterminatus, mass battle cruiser and A-move only.
I really like seeing these 2v2 games. That first one was just rock solid, second was kinda crap, this one was alright.
2v2 my heart
This was glorious
Just make mass stalker or tempest as Protoss. Definitely not impossible to win, if they actually just made units 😂
Best counter to BCs is a swarm of Scourge.
Too bad those aren't an option in SC2
Yes I got the W.
No, if you surrender, you lose :) have a good day
You definitely dont need to be wasting your money buying all these people some “shit” or gift cards.
So much precipitation
BC's too OP. As a Zerg, I really don't know how to deal with them
Infesters do a great job against BC with Neural parasite, but it's very micro intensive. Take them and use the energy as fast as you can, warp them away or yamato the other BCs
These probably aren't bronze league. The league badges have been glitched for years and its even worse in 2v2 - it will show bronze league badgers for people who could be 3000 mmr. That said, still watching the video so I'm not sure what league the players actually should be in.
Algorithm
Love to see me some BCs actually wreck some shit up!
BC? more like EZ
Not even two minutes in and doodoo paste.
BC were as useless as Carrier since the beginning of Starcraft 2😒
i like the humor but 7 min in and yall bearly spent a min talking about the game
You get the victory if you leave the game - and it is logical. The "match" is won, your side has the victory = you have the victory. Easy. The only problem is that as a player that stayed in the game, you dont see the population limit of the player who left - you sort of have to guess, or wait till you hit the "build more pylons" stage -)
Won several games like this, when my partner left. Double zerg is extremely funny, you just double-build everything and go into multi-macro mode :D
Do you get one combined resource pool? Or do you get an invisible secondary pool that can only be used to make more of your partner's buildings/units?
@@marredcheese The resource pool, thankfully, is combined when an ally leaves.
And another slight irritant i just remembered - if you double-click a unit of a certain type, only units of that type from ONE of the players get selected - same when sharing unit control -)
