we use to mount the same tent for mourners in the middle of street and also for 3 days when somebody dies. Similar culture of the Ethiopian highlands of Amhara and Tigray and their neighboring Sudan

Raw meat? ....is a delicacy in many countries but in Ethiopia it looks horrifying because of the way it is displayed and served... isn't it also sad that a foreigner cares more about Ethiopian unity than the "ethiopians" themselves ?
I would have to agree with you. When I go to sushi shops I see how they take their time to make it look presentable. They just don't throw rice and fish on the plate and let you go at it. I don't know why our chefs don't focus on developing our cuisines. Asians in America are great at tweaking their cuisines to make them presentable and activate the buds of Americans.
