I’ve had numbers and tones like that but passed over them thinking it was aluminum

Yes agree- some targets are very similar in numbers and tones - so will try to dig as many as I can xx

This is not a good test because the coil is stationary it doesn't have to read to ground. Ok to mess around with if you're bored! 😂

Moving the coil or moving the target over the same soil = same result. The detector still reads the soil.
