I have not jetted it yet. It does run ok for the most part but it does seem to starve for air if I'm in to high a gear and low rpm. I'm gonna play with the air screw in the carb to see what happens. I used to start up with a less-than-a-second push of the starter but now it takes a little more to get her going gotta play with the throttle a bit but other than that seem to be working good.
Run 1.5" from the box like you have done, when you get past the front fender go into 2" up which you have done and looks fine to me, although i run a Dynojet kit with Size DJ146 using the Triangle ATV snorkel. DJ142 wont let me get to the top of the rev limiter. Do it itll run better. I got a HMF also seems to help with stalling in the water although that could be my carb overflow valve on about half of the times it's happened to me. I got that took care of tho lol
With the 4 people & me commenting on a 8 year old video means we’ve all have similar wheeler around the same years. Or what I like to call the Carburetor Foreman years. Y’all been having trouble finding good How To’s for the carburetor Foreman 450’s
Brandon Brown that’s a negative worked perfect. Later on I replaced the exhaust to an HMF swamp series and it started to melt my plastic in the back so I wrapped it in DEI exhaust wrap but the snorkel never had a problem.

no problems so far… ch-tricky if you don't feel comfortable take the time and wrap your exhaust with dei exhaust wrap. that stuff really works.
You need to get some tubing for all of the breather hoses on the bike, rear end and front end gear box.

Did you run any vent lines how did this work in water
What did You do for the drain hole in the air box
It’s supposed to have a factory rubber plug in it
Personally id go with a 45 degree for the coupling on top to do a better job at preventing rain from getting in it
Bought mine and came with it but it having to much bogging
Something may be clogging 1 of your vent lines or tubes, could have a small exhaust leak can cause it also
man i’m just tryna figure out all the parts you ysed

what about the vent lines or is it not required
Vent lines are definitely required
Have you had any problems with the exhaust so close? I wanna snorkel my 96 but I’m worried about the exhaust
Run the snorkel on the other side
Do u think the light 28 vamps will need a gear reduction? Please help
no
I don't have a gear reduction on mine and I have 28 backs. After the jet kit and hmf swamp XL. It runs great.
Hell no I have 28 inch silver backs
How do you jet it?
How long was the 1 and a half tubing on top of the exhaust pipe
Do 2 inch all the way from the air box
Adjust you're air idle screw
did you have to re jet your carb or did the air filter kinda even it out?
Has your pipe melted bc of the muffler

@@docmia21 thanks for the info
Could be a dumb question. What did u use to drill the hole?
Most likely a hole saw
Need to put a 95 at the top so rain don’t get it
Look at my other video. It was not finished here. I actually finished it with 2 45s then redid it a few years later. I don’t have the bike anymore.
