How do you get that window to the left where you can see what it looks like while your moving stuff around

I just split the screen and to hide the options from the top bar I positioned the mouse arrow to the end (the line that split the 3d viewport from the top options) held down the right mouse button and dragged upwards and to hide the options on the side I selected the T key.
