You got some really nice books. Finding an out of print book you've been wanting is like finding a treasure chest. I bet your heart beat a little faster when you first saw in on Ebay. Lot's of happy coloring in the future for you and lots of happy viewing pleasure for us.

I would love to see a color along in Christine Vogl's Christmas book or a page out of Christine Karron's new book, I love the girl with the bonnet and the woodland animals, I have that coloring page too, but I haven't colored her yet.

beautiful haul. Lizzie Mary cullen is for sure my favourite illustrator, what a coup of luck did you have to find those ones Lucy. If it was me I think I would cry of joy . It was really one chance in a million. I never could find any of them ( I have the magical ones)

Ha, ha! I like the sign-off. Adult pop. On the sauce. I totted up yesterday. So far this Christmas I have had 3 glasses of wine and 2 shots of Amrula (like Baileys but a bit less sweet). I spent last night drinking some of these distilled botanical spirits (gin look-a-likes) all zero alcohol. As the years have passed I drink less and less and I never drank a lot to start with.
Lovely Christmas gifts and purchases. I always look forward to this video from you. I still haven't coloured a Christmas page. I seem to have had way too much to do in December. I started on some holly in the Johanna's Christmas book this morning. I treat January as Christmas colouring time as not getting to it in December is the norm. I am trying to challenge myself to colour with more interest, more colour. Rita Burman is my inspiration. This morning I coloured a bunch of holly leaves and through how dull and normal they looked. So I started adding some red, blues and yellows to the greens in subtle areas and it made a massive difference. I want to continue in that way. I'm too realistic. It's not appropriate unless I'm trying to do something realistic.

I use my Kalour watercolour pencils with my inktense often for lovely results. Beautiful books and merry Xmas xxx
I agree about Christine Karron; she's so talented( and , is Canadian, did you know ?😊) the Colorya books have amazing paper but I wish they'd just do one subject ( like the portraits) and put the cartoon stuff in a separate book. Thanks for sharing; fun!

ALSO! If you can get Daniel Smith watercolor ground you can use alcohol markers in some books with no bleed through!

That Alice card is absolutely gorgeous. The whimsical Christmas book looks adorable. I think I'm gonna get that new Colorya book, I don't normally colour people but those images are stunning.
I'm going to try and be braver with my colouring this year. Colour in books that scare me, try using different supplies.

What I do is copy the writing/picture on the back of anything, then if I use alcohol markers I then cover it up with the copied page xx All the Best for the New Year Lucy & all your followers, can’t wait to see more of your videos xxxx

Its such a great feeling when you find a out of print book that you've been looking for! I'm so happy that you got all three. ☺I hope that you are having lovely Holidays. I got two Jade Summer Coloring Books (Art Nouveau & Elegant Patterns). I did splurge and pick up the Arrtex Acrylic Markers, both A & B sets. I've also treated myself to 4 smaller Pokemon Coloring books that I disassembled and put in page protectors and then into a binder.
So many beautiful books to choose from. They are all so lovely. May you enjoy colouring in each and every one of them, Lucy. A very Happy New Year to you and your loved ones for 2024. I am really sorry to hear someone gave you such a hard time but you did the right thing. Surround yourself only with positive people and those that love you.❣❣❣

So glad you had a good Christmas! I have my books in plastic totes and may have 100. I have to stop buying them, but not until after I finish collecting the Klara Markova books. I will have all but the first book of her fairy series. Also, I had an infection for Christmas, and then caught Covid after that. I think I will be happy when this year is over! Happy New Year Lucy! Enjoy the variety of media. I do not have enough room for all my craft stuff to be at hand so I have no WIPs rule. Love your choice and thinking on some of your pages, wonderful books!

I unfortunately missed Christmas, as I fell on Christmas Eve, and smashed my kneecap into pieces, just home from hospital today and looking forward to being less drugged up and starting some colouring again.

I just got Circle of Nature and Rising last week. Great books. I think I actually like Circle of Nature the most due to the smaller compositions.

i really like mandalas. its how i got into coloring into the first place. I admit, some of the ¨cheaper¨ books are bad on my markers, and i just now lost a forest green tombo to my J Basford christmas book....(good thing my local art store sells Tombow single double sided markers!)

I’ve worked all Christmas Eve through Boxing Day and finally have a day off today, I also work New Year’s Eve and Day. No days or hours off in healthcare 😳🎄🇨🇦 pay is good however so pros and cons I guess lol Happy 2024
