So glad you're ok now. That happened to me when my hubby made me laugh while I was drinking, its the scariest thing not being able to take a breath and shakes your confidence for ages. Absolutely love the picture and your colour choices. I would never have thought of using a lustre polish in this way, I had better have another look at my craft stash!!! How frightening that must have been! I’m so thankful that you were able to bring up the obstruction and start breathing again! My brother-in-law has had that happen several times - once when my sister was listening to him essentially die. There was no way for her to get help for him in time. He finally flung himself into the counter so that the force of the edge of the counter slamming into his chest stopped his choking. Then they both sat there crying in relief. I don’t have asthma, but I did contract whooping cough a few years ago. For months and months I’d cough so deeply that I couldn’t catch my breath between coughs. There were many times I thought I’d never catch my breath again. I hope that the trauma from your experience will fade away very quickly! This background is gorgeous!!! I love your whimsical birdies too! It’s such a fun “feel good” picture!
Oh sweetheart. I understand your terror. It’s happened to me. And that sensation of not being able to breath will return until it eventually fade. Make sure you chew everything especially meat. If your eat any kind of white bread and it’s very very fresh and squishy be careful you don’t ever take too big a bite. I was driving and eating a very fresh plain bagel from tim Horton. It didnt matter how much coffee I tried to swallow, the only thing that happened was it shifted and just got more stuck. Slammed on brakes and pulled a park as much out of the way of traffic as I could. I was starting to see black spots. So my dear friend always be mindful of what you’re eating. Your colouring is awesome as usual. Love it.
Good colouring work on the leaves, Lucy, you really manage to make them seem cold and frosty. And the background looks great too. Be careful when you eat meat; carve it up into small pieces. 🎉

Beautiful colouring Lucy some really useful tips. Yes to the small Christmas cutes book., Could I make a request for you to do the cute mouse in the match box? I have a special Christmas story to go with that page, I am being brave to tell it. A lady who worked with my Mother also had a second job as school cook, and would keep a lovely pudding for me under the counter, and stop the horrible bullies by saying there's none left for you they would tease and torment, my eating(I have a bilateral cleft lip and palate) This lady would come to our house at Christmas time with a card with cute mouse's on it, knowing how bullied I was. She was an angel. I only say this as there are good people on this road of life, and to inspire.This was in the early1970s. I cried when I opened this colouring book and saw this page.💖

I was watching your older videos and came across the one where you proudly bought a hobby trolley. I have one too (tee hee). It is now drowning in books and stuff. I don’t even know for sure what’s on it. I tell everyone that it grows by itself. How is your trolley like now? Do you still use it?
I did the same thing with a bit of beef in a curry beef and for some reason I just instinctually drank a fizzy drink, (it was too far down to come back up) which when I googled it later was actually a way to move it because of the bubbles, but yeah I couldn't breathe and had noone with me and it is absolute terror isn't it? After I was ok and breathing again is when I burst into tears because as you said it's quite traumatising. Anyway so glad you're OK and looking forward to doing this page with you now lol 😆

Lucy, What is that 'frosting' as you referred to it? You also mentioned a glue pen? I bought a loooong time ago some beautiful fine glitters but have not used them bc glue would be so messy. Could you please 🙏 respond with the names ? I have stickles which I also learned about from you 😂

I hope you're feeling ok now Lucy, I absolutely understand how terrified you would have been. A similar thing happened to me many years ago when a dentist accidentally dropped a gold crown while he was trying it for size against my tooth and it went down my throat and stuck there. I genuinely thought, this is it, I'm going to die choking on a gold crown in a dentist's surgery. I tell the story for laughs now, but believe me I can 100% sympathise with you. Hope things are slowly getting easier for you with work too. Sorry to hear some of your children don't have a lovely Christmas to look forward to, that is so incredibly sad 💔
