He still worked very hard to fulfill his own Career ; instead of only working for Elvis . Google his accomplishments. Quite a guy !!

    I just love Linda and Sam! Especially love listening to Sam when he talks. They are both so down to earth,and I can see why Elvis cared about them so much. I wish he'd been ready to settle down and get healthy with Linda, because she took such good care of him. I really believe she kept him alive, longer than he would have been otherwise.I can understand why she left, but I think she was the best match of all his long term relationships. I can't believe people still spreading the rumor that Elvis is alive. He'll always live in our hearts for sure! I just wish we'd gotten to know him as the man as well as the entertainer. He had such a generous ❤️ and was so kind as well as a fantastic sense of humor! God broke the mold when he made Elvis and there will never be another! Elvis would have been fantastic in A star is Born, another bonehead miss management by Tom Parker! I believe if he had a shot at the movies to play a part to prove his acting skills like he always wanted, I think he would've gotten off the drugs. He always rose so brilliantly to any challenges. He was the type that needed new challenges! He thrived on them! I think aside from his pain issues( dwhich he definitely had) he took more than he needed because he was stuffing his feeling's down about not being able to use his many talents.It was just about the Money for Parker and Elvis just wasn't the kind of person to confront anybody, it just wasn't in his makeup as a person. That's also the reason there's not that much video of Elvis, unless someone was going to pay for it, it didn't get done. He wasn't thinking ahead. Just like selling Elvis catalogue of music for 5million of which Elvis only got 1.5 million. Elvis and his estate could still be pulling millions in residuals. He needed money because Pricilla took him back to court for more money. His funds were low because he was supporting too many people as well as giving to strangers and charities. He really needed an accountant and a different manager! Then he wouldn't have had to work himself into the ground and maybe could've gotten his health issues under control.

      Women want men who are strong and capable, on top of things. With all the medication he was taking he just couldn't do all the things a woman wants and needs. Watching a man pass out night after night when you wish they were awake and with you as a man and woman like to be, is a very tough place to be in. I understand why she left

    I instantly became an Elvis fan in 1973 I was 13 and was watching his Aloha From Hawaii concert. I had never seen or heard anyone as fabulous as Elvis. So from 1973 all I knew was Elvis and Linda. Obviously Linda loved and cared so much for Elvis. She took great care of him. And I strongly believe had Linda still been with Elvis he would not have died on August 16 1977. Linda was always very attentive to Elvis’ needs.and Sam took great care protecting Elvis. And as far as the Colonial saying he could not provide adequate security for Elvis overseas is BS. Elvis’ entourage was between 10-15 guys plus police officers. There would have been adequate security overseas for Elvis. The Colonial because he was an illegal immigrant he could not get a passport to travel with Elvis overseas. But Elvis didn’t need the Colonial to manage an overseas tour. Jerry Weintraub or Jerry Schilling were more than capable to manage Elvis overseas.

      The police that helped out on his security details in different cities said that the Memphis Mafia guys security was top notch! So that was pure BS from Parker on why Elvis couldn't tour overseas! Parker just wanted to keep Elvis under his thumb and didn't want anyone influencing Elvis like new ideas for his career or changing managers! Pure selfishness on Parker's end ! He was afraid of losing his cash cow!

    Elvis was fascinated by power and had almost a slavish respect for authority. His blatant sexuality had made him famous, but he also was shy, modest, mommy's boy. These multiple aspects of his personality seemed to enhance his image, accounting for the way his appeal bridged cultural, economical, and generational gaps all over the world. Women could Lust after him or want to mother him or be his little sister. He was so macho enough for young studs to admire, but he was also devoutly religious and believed in family values. In a strange way, Elvis has become Everyman. There was always some part of him that struck a responsive chord in the listener- as if he had become a part of you, or you of him. - Joyce Bova (Elvis Girlfriend 1968-1973)

    It’s understandable (under the circumstances) but unfortunate that she left him. I think she was an anchor in his life……I.feel terrible for saying this, but I think she was more of partner and source of strength to Elvis than Priscilla was. It would have been awesome if he had more children…maybe even a boy to carry on his family name and bloodline. Then again, it may have been difficult for a boy to grow up constantly being compared to Elvis.

      Pricilla was raised to be in the spotlight & was not going to play second fiddle to anyone. Elvis was her stepping stone. Just look how it all turned out. Everyone lost but Pricilla. Elvis health was failing & Pricilla hooks up with a major fit athlete just to SHOVE IT to him. She even brought Stone to an Elvis concert! UNBELIEVABLE.

      Agreed. Linda really loved and cared for him. As she says, he lived after '72, his life didn't end after the divorce! Billy and Jo said the same, many holidays and lots of fun at Graceland the last 5 years of his life. It's true also what Linda said indirectly, Baz (and Priscilla) have tried to rewrite history and portray in the Elvis movie that he had no life after the divorce except moping for Priscilla and being unhappy! He moved on with his life. Linda speaks well of Elvis unlike his ex!

    Tom Hanks is a smart man, he has said repeatedly that they consulted with Priscilla for the story. Priscilla once stated that she was consulted once but then never heard from Baz until the movie was completed. She wasn’t around the last few years so how can she possibly tell the whole story? Secondly, I like Priscilla and how she honors Elvis now however I do feel that if Linda was Elvis widow- there would have been a very different story told and published as truth. Elvis adored Linda and I always love her more as I hear her talk about him. I saw the movie and I left feeling so sad, I felt like they depicted him as extremely sad- and that is so unfair to him.

    I think of all the ladies in Elvis’s life’ Linda Thompson is the most beautiful’ although l don’t agree with her choices in marriages and not particularly fond of her last marriage’ l sort of feel that she used her beauty as a way to wealth , success and happiness, although she can not help that she is beautiful and l guess l would have been the same way if l were in her place but l sure would have loved it if she could have been more Spiritual because her personality alone could have brought a lot of young and old alike to the Lord , also her Brother Sam is such a humble and nice person, the parents of these two must be very proud, l just think that these two would have been such a blessing in the Spiritual field a servant for God ! but so could l “🙏❤️, don’t judge least you be judged !

    Linda and Sam are two of the most dedicated humans to Elvis Presley. They would never divulge a secret or secrets if their friend. Elvis would need several people like them if he were to fake his death. Is he dead, I don't really know. I do know that the coffin and the body presented in that famous picture was not Elvis. Perhaps Sam was guarding another casket...but the one presented to the public was not him.

    • @lorimiller4301
      @lorimiller4301 Рік тому

      He looked 25 in that coffin, not a full-faced 42 year old Elvis. Maybe it was a wax figure because they were worried someone wouldn't steal his body ? They could demand a ransom.
      There's so many secrets around Elvis it's hard to know what the truth is sometimes.

      Linda is full of it sometimes. She cheated & Elvis dumped her. She wanted marriage & Elvis was not willing to ever marry again because he knew he was not going to be faithful & it would end up a mess. Elvis professed LOVE to many girls he was with & let them believe he would marry them, although he only officially proposed to Dixie and Pricilla & perhaps Ginger. Listen to the phone call to Anita and how Elvis is manipulating her into believing that he is a faithful guy & when he marries he does not want a nagging wife who does not trust him. The gaslighting is heavy. Its not a nice thing to break young girls hearts to keep them around until you replace them. Elvis gave many of them cars, clothing & massive amounts of jewelry & even bought Linda and her brother and parents EACH a home. So the beautiful boy is not a total cad but wanted & maintained a stable of young women.

    If linda was the wive of elvis, they wood still be married and i believe that lisa mary was stil living.. Even if elvis had past away.. Prescilla never new what true love is.. It is always about her, and her fame.. Even in this new film.. Its all about her legacy and not about elvis presley s true livestory.. Or the feelings of lisa mary presley beiing the daughter of elvis, and the still greeving mom she was.. I dont have good words for prescilla presley, who is claiming that elvis was the love of her life.... Bull s. t‼️... He is just an income, source of money and the way to keep her fame... But elvis is still not good enough in her eyes.. She blames him for everything she isnt and cant be.. Like a wonderfull human beiing like elvis is.... ❤️And linda.. You are in my eyes the one who deserved his love and attention.. Just because the way you are and the way you love him... Still, till this day... 🌹💋❤️i love to hear more stories about the two of you.. even, i didnt miss any of them in the past💫elvis presley will always live on, in our harts, and lis mary.. it so sad to lose you at such a jung age.. but i think you are now thogeter with the ones you love the most.. rust in pease💕🙏🌹and i hope that the tree children of you, here... will find there way to have pease with the loss of you.. and that they find there way to live on.. to find there own desteny, lord.. give them the power🙏❣️❣️❣️

    Linda was 1000x’s better for Elvis then Piss Cilla -
    Piss Cilla was there along with her family for what they could get and that was proven when she brought Elvis back to court after their initial Divorce. That cost him and the estate huge because he was basically broke at the time and he told Colonel that he needed money and Greedy Colonel brought up to Elvis about selling all of his prior records and rights to them to RCA for 4-5 million. Those were his greatest hit Music from 1954-1972. They do not own the rights to those today. While married, Piss Cilla father asked Elvis for money to open a store. Elvis gave to that family as he did to his last Girlfriend, Ginger. Elvis wanted to marry Ann Margret to be honest. But, Piss Cilla father called in his marker on Elvis. If you don’t marry my daughter I will go to the press and ruin your career Ala Jerry Lee Lewis. So, in other words, Elvis was blackmailed into marring Piss Cilla. Hell, Didn’t Lisa Marie call Linda when Elvis died before her own mother ?? Tells a lot to be honest !

    • @lisamorrison214
      @lisamorrison214 Рік тому +1

      He should have paid Pricilla whatever she needed. She is the one and ONLY mother of his child. Elvis did what he wanted to do. If he didn’t want to marry Pricilla he wouldn’t have simple as that.
      Elvis was broke because he had a crooked manager and an inexperienced president of EP enterprises.
      Pricilla’s family like ALL the friends and families of the MM got money, cars, homes from Elvis he was extremely generous to friends and family.
      He loved Pricilla and was close with her until the day he died. Lisa Marie said in an interview that she didn’t realize her parents weren’t a couple anymore because they were extremely close .
      I don’t get the Pricilla hate. It’s weird. He’s been dead since 1977. You don’t have to hate Pricilla to like Linda, or even Ginger
