You do a fantastic job reviewing these places, man. You should have your own TV show. You have a way about the delivery of the information that really makes me want to travel to these places and I hate traveling.
Amazing Video and review of this resort! As a Royal Elite member of Sandos, I appreciate when others can also appreciate what Sandos has to offer! Great resort, amazing staff, good food, amazing views!
Been here a couple times.. You reviewed it superbly. Great hotel for a more mature audience that gives you everything you need and is located perfectly near local entertainment.
I must have visited the Finisterra about 15 times since the early 80s. My last stay was in 2004. Long before the famous marina was constructed down the street. It is in a beautiful location.
We actually stayed here at Sandos Finisterra in November of 2021 it was our first vacation together and it was amazing overall. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was super friendly :). We spent the majority of our week by the adult pool :).
Great review James. Beautiful setting for the hotel. Glad you are reviewing more “tranquil” properties. I’m out of the party scene now and tranquility is high on my list! Great job!
If you stay here I recommend the churo's at Don Diego's, the baja shrimp taco's at Agave are probably my favorite thing on the whole property. They are amazing. Stayed here and loved it. Will be going back we bought vacation packages while we were here we enjoyed it so much.
We have stayed at the Finnesterra 7 times and they definitely have a Buffett. Don Diego is the buffet restaurant. They have a great breakfast buffet and though I don’t eat buffet for dinner I have seen it serve buffet style at night as well. Also, I would definitely consider the Agave Steakhouse as a restaurant. They serve a full lunch and dinner menu
thanks so much for your review , and ones you have the royal elite bands all the food gets better , more restaurants available ,free spa wet areas, special amenities and prefer rooms, and more!!! go to the ones in cancun , playa and spain they are awsome to, great locations and safety, cleand ,love them all! if your coming to cabo againg let m know ill be happy to show u how to ge the best of the best! saludos desde cabito !
Something to consider, Mazatlan, Sinaloa is on the U.S. State Department "Do Not Travel" list. Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur is on the "excercise increased caution when traveling" list.
Love the video Coolist! Keep up the grind. Are you able to upgrade your set up to a 4k + Camera? It looks like you're using your iPhone. Thank you and chat soon, I can understand it might look more discrete and you may run into trouble if it looked like professional equipment.
Hi James, thanks for your fantastic reviews. I love the quality and the care you take to make them. I'm wondering if you will be going on this trip to the Riu Palace as my family and I were there in August and would love to see what your take is on it (we were quite disappointed). One of the things that is interesting is that in the à la carte restaurants in the all inclusives some of them have children's menus and other do not. It makes it difficult sometimes to eat with the family as the kids might not like what's on the menu (the Riu Palace does not have a kids menu). The kids ended up not eating anything and we had to go to the snack bar or Buffet after. You might want to comment if you go to a resort that is not adults only. Which hotels will you be visiting during this Cabo trip? Thanks again and great content!!!
We love the Hilton Los Cabos but hate how they’ve drastically upped their prices since our first two stays in 2019 and 2021. They do have the only swimmable beach but it’s still pretty swift.
I have watched a lot of your great videos! We want to hear your opinion. We have two kids under 4 (bringing a babysitter). We love food, parting, and luxury. The issue is finding an all-inclusive to meet our needs. What would be your recommendation for us? We like Cabo due to the short travel from DFW.
Hello, we have never been to Los Cabos before. How did you book for transportation from the airport to the hotel? How far is the drive from the airport to the hotel ? Thank you
Great video! I was thinking of going there, still hesitate between Sandos, Riu Palace or Hyatt Ziva ? What would you say is the best option for a family of 3 with teenage daughter ?
It's an above average property. Plus, while you may walk to Cabo central, you will not want to walk back. 8-10 people will elect to take a cab back, about $12
I went to Don Diego at 945 and was told they only had fajitas. Even though they close at 1030. So we went to the Italian restaurant where the chicken parm was to over cooked to eat and the creme Brule was raw. The room was awesome and the staff was super friendly. Food was nothing special.
Seems like most of that suite is unnecessary. Why have a full kitchen when you eat at the restaurants? Why have a dining room, when you mostly eat outside your room?
I agree, just came back from Cabo with my family in August we stayed 10 days at the Riu Palace and wasn't impressed there either. If you really like swimming in the ocean Cabo is not the place to go. Thank God we were able to use Uber which was fairly inexpensive to go to a swimmable part of medano beach but it was a gong Show with all the vendors asking you to buy something every minute it was relentless. The water was fantastic there and I would recommend taking a water taxi from there and purchase there to go to Pelican Cove to swim and snorkel. It's a small Beach only accessible by water taxi but it's really nice don't bother going to lovers Beach was a waste of time.
Any hotel/Timeshare on Medrado Beach is a plus. Your in the middle of everything fun. Marina/fashion mall/restaurants/night clubs/shopping. You can catch a glass bottom boat to the famous Arch. The Office Restaurant is a must. Your feet are in the sand, they have a fun show with audience participation.
You do a fantastic job reviewing these places, man. You should have your own TV show. You have a way about the delivery of the information that really makes me want to travel to these places and I hate traveling.
The VIP pool is great, amazing views and service
Amazing Video and review of this resort!

I was there just last week! Have been many times to this location, great staff.
Beautiful property. Thanks for bringing us along your journey and giving us a slice of Cabo tranquility. Awesome work and great review👍
Love this resort. Heading back June 2025
Wow, wow, wow. I’ve been to Cabo 3 times. Stayed at the Westin and some others. This place looks fantastic
Looks like a stunning property
I'm glad you liked it! When we were there I never missed a buffet. I found the restaurants to be good. I loved being able to walk into town.
Just got back on Oct 1st...absolutely loved it
How was the weather during that time ? I’m looking to stay first week of October this year
Good review, My wife and i were married here in 2019. 1st class service and the roof top patio for the reception was sublime
My partner and I are planning to get married here. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed it.
@@toeatingoften congrats on your engagement!! We loved it at sandos and are going back for a 4th wedding anniversary in November this year!!
Cabo need to pay you for producing all these high quality videos. I mean it
Thank you this video. Heading there in dec with my one year old and husband. Feeling much more at ease after seeing this video
Been here a couple times.. You reviewed it superbly. Great hotel for a more mature audience that gives you everything you need and is located perfectly near local entertainment.
How late are the pools open?
I honestly can't remember.. but i don't recall it being very late. try tripadvisor for more info@@heatherstrickley6925
What a gorgeous place! I'd be making my own breakfast in that kitchen. Love breakfast, love making breakfast.
Hi Val - that would definitely be the kitchen do it in - great view too 🏝️
At sandos for the 2nd time. Enjoying a warrior. Thanks james
Enjoying a jarrito

Thanks for this review! Wonderful job!
Nice video, I like how you covered the whole experience there.
Great review James. Beautiful setting for the hotel. Glad you are reviewing more “tranquil” properties. I’m out of the party scene now and tranquility is high on my list! Great job!
The blue V-Neck is a winner!
Just booked our trip🎉
They do have a breakfast buffet. We just stayed there 2 weeks ago.

Thank James, as always a spectacular review. Debating between Cabo and Mazatlan next year and you've given me plenty to ponder over . 👍👍
Something to consider, Mazatlan, Sinaloa is on the U.S. State Department "Do Not Travel" list. Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur is on the "excercise increased caution when traveling" list.
Beautiful
Fireeee 🔥🔥
Here’s another vote for the Cabo Waldorf
Thanks for the review, based on your review we changed from Breathless to Finiterra, I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again.

James your videos are the best. Can you break down the gym quality as well. I go to places based on gym quality.
Wondering if the restaurants at this hotel cost money to eat at. Thanks!
You should try the Waldorf in Cabo
hiw was the service there from the staff??
Amazing
Hi James, thanks for your fantastic reviews. I love the quality and the care you take to make them. Beautiful. Have you been to the Philippines 🇵🇭 or Canada 🇨🇦

idk if i missed it but is there a breakfast area ?
Yes, buffet style
How late do the pools stay open?
also looking to go this summer for our 20th anniversary where do you recommend going ? Riviera Maya, Cabo, Punta Cana, etc?
I have watched a lot of your great videos! We want to hear your opinion. We have two kids under 4 (bringing a babysitter). We love food, parting, and luxury. The issue is finding an all-inclusive to meet our needs. What would be your recommendation for us? We like Cabo due to the short travel from DFW.
Hi I am in the same boat, did you find an all inclusive?
Hello, we have never been to Los Cabos before. How did you book for transportation from the airport to the hotel? How far is the drive from the airport to the hotel ?
Thank you
where else in Cabo do you reccommend ?
Great video! I was thinking of going there, still hesitate between Sandos, Riu Palace or Hyatt Ziva ? What would you say is the best option for a family of 3 with teenage daughter ?
Is there any nearby beaches that allows swimming?
In walking distance too
Are the elevators conveniently located??? We are traveling with my parents who may struggle with the staris.
are the resturants free since its an all inclusive resort?
Do you find the drinks at all-inclusives to be watered down? For example, are you able to catch a buzz?
Sandos or Riu?
As Vegas gets more inflated with $30 drinks and $90 ribeyes, these hotels are looking far more appealing.
It's an above average property. Plus, while you may walk to Cabo central, you will not want to walk back. 8-10 people will elect to take a cab back, about $12
James - I feel like you found more ‘action’ in the DR than Cabo… Is Cabo more tame than the DR?
I went to Don Diego at 945 and was told they only had fajitas. Even though they close at 1030. So we went to the Italian restaurant where the chicken parm was to over cooked to eat and the creme Brule was raw. The room was awesome and the staff was super friendly. Food was nothing special.
Best Cuba resorts???????
To bad it’s not adults only , great hotel
If you’re rich and own an exclusive property or you’re here for vacation in an all inclusive hotel, you’ll love it. Otherwise it sucks.
Seems like most of that suite is unnecessary. Why have a full kitchen when you eat at the restaurants? Why have a dining room, when you mostly eat outside your room?
no buffet ??? that is weird and probably a deal breaker for me
There's a buffet
They have buffets. Morning and night. Not sure about lunch, bc I have always been at the pool. They also have 24 hr room service
You think a married couples would like this better over riu Santa fe
the night club looks dead af lol
I don't know.....this place looks so old and boring.....
I agree, just came back from Cabo with my family in August we stayed 10 days at the Riu Palace and wasn't impressed there either. If you really like swimming in the ocean Cabo is not the place to go. @@spirospapachristos5790 Medano beach has properties you can stay including all inclusives.
We went and it was very boring and the food was average at best
This place looks cool but really sux!! Don’t wast your money!!!
Place is a Dump!!
This place really is awesome! I have been to over 20 all inclusive resorts and this is the only one I have been back to on multiple occasions.
