20:49 taking the +2 troops on india here could’ve saved you a bit of trouble and maybe pink doesn’t break NA and you win the game a bit sooner because of it
@@joetucker971 so the way he played it here he has a maximum of 36 on his big stack in India to hit magenta’s 37, which left magenta with 5, but if he took the plus 2 on india, he can put 38 on india to hit 37, leaving magenta with maybe 3 troops instead in siam if things play out the same and magenta can’t even try to take south america for themselves next turn if that happens. It’s also worth noting that if you combine that with a better fortify (like the alberta into brazil or north africa) magenta probably can’t even break NA and then the game spirals into johnathan’s favor much more easily to where luck doesn’t even try to play a factor
@@joetucker971 much like chess, those extra 2 troops he got in iceland, while on the board, are effectively “losing a tempo” because they are not being used to attack an opponent’s vital territory like siam or defend a vital territory like brazil (the latter of which should have been done with the troops in alberta anyways in order to maximize your leverage)
@@Sushigh0st ah I think what I missed, is that those extra 2 troops go directly onto those countries, rather than adding to the amount of troops you can deploy anywhere, is that right?
Would you humbly consider recording in 60 fps? It's always a noticeable difference when switching between other risk creators. Not that any of us would ever do that of course.
Yellow accpeting your allience request just to blitz your 5 in sa was just hilarious 😂😂😂
I would have thumbs down cancel the alliance for sure

It was a miss hit, the attack was going for the 3 green but accidently hit 5 Blue obviously.
I have no idea what is going on but I like having a glass of wine while I watch you play risk
I can't believe you had 5 dudes, 1 horse, 1 cannon, and 1 wild in your hand. That's gotta be like the rarest card combo seen in a video
Thanks!
7:13 is great. Especially in 2x speed.
Easy win, but at 20:12 why didn't you fortify with your troops in Iceland or Alberta? It seems you could have used those to protect your big holding.
Same at 23:40, instead of splitting middle east to make it 4/3 could have used Iceland to make it 6/3
This is exactly what I was going to say. This was his only mistake, but he was so far ahead that it didn't matter. Still a good game.
@@nathanparr8513 I wanted to point out that one too, but I didn't want to be to critical 😅
Worst blunder ever! How did he ever recover from that.
25:57 Average Risk player after sacraficing 69000000 troops to hold Australia.

I'm confused, the other 3 cards he traded in instead all had +2 too, so what difference would it have made? Feel like I'm missing something here

@@joetucker971 that would be correct, yes
Congrats on the 30,000+ pts and the top 300 ranking Jonathan...well done !
I'm curious, why do you only move 3 into a province you take if you're going to fortify back into the other square anyway?
A common technique. In case you forget to fortify or misclick...
It makes it less threatening, as people don't start wondering, if you're moving your whole stack. Sometimes these small details may be the difference.

Still waiting for your jaw to drop when there is a blizzard in Siam. Haha
Well done!
