I have decent luck with growing carrots, but I suck at growing spinach. I just can’t seem to get the timing right. Key to carrots is covering them after watering with cardboard, a wooden plank, or dark plastic until they germinate. That’s what’s worked for me. The covering keeps them moist.
Thanks for putting the links from amazon for the rack with lights and seed trays. I have been looking for racks with lights and seed starting trays.
I put the dry starting soil in the trays first then wet them. Less messy

@@FloridaPlantMomma spinach I wait till it’s super (well Florida super cold) cold. If not I get bitter spinach.
