Catching them on artificial lures with no bait. Come on an adventure to Cold Lake Alberta. Definitely not an ideal time to go lake trout fishing during an EXTREME COLD FRONT -40 Celsius. But I had an itch to scratch and wanted to feel Cold Lake Lakers on my line...
This time I went to an area I’ve actually never ice fished before, just going with the flow as far as vehicle access goes.
