- Every great performance starts with the comfort of your equipment. I've spent the last year researching and testing the most diverse welding gloves possible. My welder 101 gloves offer premier comfortability and are built to last. Stacking dimes doesn't start with your welder, it starts with high-quality comfortable gloves that mesh to your hands perfectly. Here's an inside look on my new welding gloves.

Done it for 28 years and loved it
Same
Thanks.
Yes the gloves are a big deal. One company I worked for went the cheap route and bought those stiff cuffed with " fluffy" gray leather fingers by the gross from China. I believe they actually cost him money in production because they were loose and clumsy wearing out fast slowing work down. I bought my own gloves and as for shoes I always wore smooth leather boots..Guys with lace up work boots always got the " hot foot" from slag getting trapped in the lace area. This video is a good idea 👍
I liked tig gloves
Thinner gloves overall that's why but not enough for constant MIG welding
My biggest gripe with welding gloves is the lining coming apart, when the rest of the glove is fine.
Thanks Steve. I have always admired you and everything you done in your life.
Thank you!
Could of done with them type of gloves years ago. Got the scars to prove it. lol. Great advice and a great product Steve.👍
Dude I have more scars on my legs, feet, arms, chest, etc then I can even count.. Sleeves aren't always the answer and neither are gloves at times. Between welding for 30 years and torching I feel your pain..
Thanks 👍
Got to appreciate our battle wounds! haha
Another great video 👍👍🇨🇱
Thanks 👍
Can’t wait to buy a pair of them. Thanks Steve cause that’s my mindset too I have always had that same problem.
Thanks Michael! Now we have one less problem to deal with haha
Did you retire your mittens?🤣🤣
Your feet getcha there and the hands do the work.. Gotta take care of them both..
I might have to give those a go.. Very hard finding comfortable gloves..👍👍
Great looking gloves! I need to get a pair👍
Thanks! Can't wait for you to try them!
People want to charge you $30k-60k either to build or drop in a diesel into an old chevy. Some old timers knows how to build a diesel for high horsepower and live. Without those combinations you have young fellows that aren't swapping because of the cost. I'm not saying your not an old timer but you have learned a lot from them over the years. You need to teach these youngsters online before diesel swap days are long gone. Love the content and thanks for keeping diesel legacy alive.
Thanks! I appreciate your comment.
mate its hard yakka day in day out the little things make a big difference to fatigue and the work quality great vid big fella hope your well cheers
Thanks! take care
I like the gloves mate.lv got big mitts, they look like they be comfortable.
😎👍🍺🇦🇺
Thanks! Best pair I ever had.
Tieing rebar ain't easy after a 12 shift.
You have to be comfortable welding or cutting yup
I think the gloves your referring to are "Rigger" gloves, faced with "chrome" leather which is basically the cheapest cut of the leather skins, they would sometimes last for a while other times you could put your finger through right off the bat!
Best boots I ever had I can't for the life of me remember their name, made in Sweden, red rubber soul, no laces to burn but had quick release straps to get them off quick if need be, oil, acid, alkaline, heat and high voltage resistant sole (good for about 10000v) and felt like wearing house slippers they were so comfortable.
Helmet was Esab airflow with quick reaction glass, lovely and cool but a real nightmare if you've got wind as the air box is behind you just above your butt 🤮 overalls were fire resistant everything else, spats, sleeves, hood, apron and jacket were leather.
I use riggers gloves as inners
Went to store don’t see gloves anywhere????
