Noel Gallagher,David Holmes,The Highflying birds and the backing musicians and singers have created the best piece of music I have ever heard in my 47 years of existence. My two children age 3 and a half and 9months love it to when we listened to it while playing together and dancing today.Thank you😊
While waiting for U2 to come on stage last night at MSG, they played this song. Thanks to Shazam, greatest musical app ever, I learned about this incredible brilliant track. I/m obsessed!!! Enchanting, haunting, exhilarating ... simply phenomenal...Thank you Mr. Gallagher. Am I the only lunatic who can put this song on replay for hours?
After almost 3 years of this being out, I still love it as much as I did on the day it was released. Definitely one of my favourite all time songs, unreal.
Listening to this song is a transcendent vibe. When I’m listening to this song, I’m imagining myself on a hilltop overlooking a city at night, the yellowish lights beaming up into the dark night as I contemplate the state of the world. Either that, or I’m blasting this whilst driving along a motorway at night.
Debs Stewart was so good seeing this live last week twice in once in Brisbane and once in Melbourne- and twice more this coming week in Melbourne! If it wasn’t for Liam’s antics there would be a Oasis reunion
This doesn't sound like Oasis or High Flying Birds... and I love it. Noel has said that this album is going to split his fanbase in half. I guess I'm in the half that likes all the singles he's released so far. I'm super excited to hear all the new sounds this album is going to have. Sure we all like it when they play the hits but I personally really enjoy when my favorite artists do something different.
Besides all the hate, theres finally a commending comment. Thank god Noel is breaking out in a much more psychedelic direction. Songs like "The Right Stuff" and the psychedelic remix of "Falling Down" always made me wish he would release some more experimental music. In my opinion "Fort Knox" is the best single of the new album so far. I'm very exited about the new record and yes, I also do like the fact that there is a French scissor girl in his band.
I thought holy mountain was great but this song is not for me. I am obviously looking forward to who built the moon but I fear I will listen to it as much as I listened to chasing yesterday which was not a lot. I still go back to hear tunes from his debut solo album which I thought was great.
This is a song for the music lovers, that’s the difference, some people that like Oasis aren’t necessarily music fans because they are too closed minded
I fully embrace Noel doing something new. I feel he had to in order to progress and this is spot on. It's got emotion and it's catchy and uplifting as he said it would. more power to him.
Jerome998 True, they've both stepped up and look reenergised, competing brothers that we benefit from....and hopefully the epic reunion in years to come..
Big difference. Noel writes his own stuff, Liam's album was written by a team of people including writers who work with Charli XCX and Adele. Liam's label have spent big money on the PR for this album because he'll disappear if this fails. Liam wouldn't have a career - or a live set - without Noel's lyrics. He's a fraud, living off his brother's talent. Liam thinks he's Paul Weller, but he's just Bruce Foxton, touring decades-old songs for the nostalgic fans. Liam's just a 90s Manc caricature (with a Primrose Hill accent...).
Great song! Doesn’t sound like anything he’s ever done before. The whole album in fact. I love it. I like the fact that we have Liam going the more traditional route & Noel going more experimental. Both good albums. But the soundscapes on Noel’s album are just amazing. Especially this one. Can’t stop listening to it & Dead in the Water.
I completely agree. That distorted echo on Noel’s voice in the chorus is just perfect, really adds an ethereal quality to the song. Makes me wanna vibe to it, at night on a hill under the stars with distant city lights. That’s the mood I’m getting.
Darren Power alrite Darren , if you haven't already listened to it give setting sun with the chemical brothers a go , Noel takes to it like a duck to water mate .
I got to listen to this song in a U2 concert. It was a pre show music that was played, instantly loved it and set the vibe for the whole concert. Had a hard time finding it, but eventually did
I would bet all the money i have that noel and liam listen to one anothers music and secretly miss each other. but they both have too much pride to admit it
the production and sound quality is amazing!doesn't sound nowhere near noel gallagher or oasis!finally noel has grown out of his own character!forza noel!!!
Don't get the U2 influence some fans are referring to... it's basically a krautrock riff over a Chemical Brothers/prodigy beat (a toned down version of Blocking Rocking Beats/ Smack my bitch up). Personally, I think it's Ace and the French dialogue works, adding to the ethereal quality of the sound. Noels been itching to write a record like this for years, now he's grown the minerals to actually do it. My advice, skin up a fat one, sit back, relax and enjoy the trip!
Have you ever heard the original/"demo" [although it sounds quite finished] version of "The Hindu Times"?? Strangely enough, a lot of his new material, and in particular the way it's produced, reminds me of that

This song absolutely one of his top post oasis songs. This is giving me goosebumps listening to it.
Absolutely agree 💯 ✨

You definitely are not the only one 😁
Replay it for hours too. Can't stop it!
Fmaj7.... Dm.... C....Am. The most beautiful chorus chord progression. Wonderful song.
After almost 3 years of this being out, I still love it as much as I did on the day it was released. Definitely one of my favourite all time songs, unreal.
Percussion loops, deep, moog like bass, new order style guitar lines and an uplifiting vocal from NG.
Love it 👍

This is my favorite tune so far. 11-24 can’t come fast enough!!! I love Noels voice! He has reached new heights with this song. Bravo 👏🏼 ♥️
Many things wilñ be said about Oasis and if they will ever reunite. But the truth is, Noel Gallagher is a genius that keeps evolving. Live Forever.
Wrong
HE HAS GONE BACKWARDS
Genius?? No son. Mozart's a fucking genius.
Keeps evolving? You mean changes his style for the first time after 20 years
Liam is pretty close behind. His solo work is fabulous too
Great bass and drumming, this album and Chasing Yesterday are fantastic.
Long time since a song gave me the shivers, as much as this does. Can't tell you how much I love this!
Debs Stewart was so good seeing this live last week twice in once in Brisbane and once in Melbourne- and twice more this coming week in Melbourne! If it wasn’t for Liam’s antics there would be a Oasis reunion
Great track.I think this album is the best one he's ever made..It's great..He gets better as time goes by..

Agree with you,This tune sounds like an U2's one ...
Noel's a genius. Can't you see? He's tryin to sift the fakes...that, or he's just doin some great new stuff
Beautiful and good 😅 first time I heard
The Chief has stepped it up a notch. Top drawer!
This one is simply amazing. Makes you feel like you’re in another dimension, really hypnotic.
I fully embrace Noel doing something new. I feel he had to in order to progress and this is spot on. It's got emotion and it's catchy and uplifting as he said it would. more power to him.
Every song on the album is a masterpiece.
Gallaghers on fire this year 🔥🔥
Jerome998 True, they've both stepped up and look reenergised, competing brothers that we benefit from....and hopefully the epic reunion in years to come..
Mr Corbs yeah I think an oasis reunion will probably never happen but at least we have their solo careers
Jerome998 I love it. This is more of that I dream... :') Liam and Noel winning in the music industry... :')
Jerome998 its all part of the masterplan

I’ve played the recent Jools Holland set non stop. This is beautiful work. Noel evolves. His music will live forever.
Two right mate xx
Champagne super gover xx
One of the best Noel Gallagher's songs! Period!
This is great, very original. Sounds like nothing he’s ever done and I respect an artist who takes a risk. Cheers to this genius!
best song hes written in years..

This has balls. I mean, you can joke abot scissors all you want, but this song is ballsy.
wish i didn't have to wait as long for his new stuff to come out. Pure Talent
Close your eyes while listening to the chorus, it'll take you to another dimension.
Fernando Cázares "stop pay close attention"
I completely agree.
That distorted echo on Noel’s voice in the chorus is just perfect, really adds an ethereal quality to the song.

Magic
@@JackMellor498 I did that, and I can confirm that it's blissful
@@BloodSweatAndMeth Maybe some weed will do the trick.
amazing chorus...
Fucking brilliant tune, he did say this is one of the best on the album.

BRILLIANT and very uplifting
Mesmerising, completely stunning, the greatest songwriter of our generation without question.
One of his best songs. And he’s written about 100 odd.
I would bet all the money i have that noel and liam listen to one anothers music and secretly miss each other. but they both have too much pride to admit it
Noel is evolving. He's making the music he wants to make and ain't gonna pander to anyone.
Majestic. I'm back in love with Noels music. For the first time in years.
Finally something I can put on repeat without getting exhausted.

It's got a chemical brothers kick to it
It reminds me of Let Forever Be
It's like Let Forever Be had a baby with The Test. Love it.
The Paris gig sounds awesome.. The songs sound even better live..!

Mais uma ótima do mestre Noel. A expectativa pro disco tá aumentando.
Extraordinary song. I cannot stop playing it. Beautifully hypnotic, mysterious and up lifting.
Very true 😃
Gas panic, right stuff... I love Noel's experimental rock
Samedha Arora please do not mention Gas Panic in the same breath as this 🙄
Gas Panic live is tremendous
wasn't sure when I 1st heard it, can't stop listening to it now, amazing. Noel could of stuck to what he knew, his new stuff is quality.
