Ah yes the classic kill character in the first some minutes into the game
Stories did it twice so we can have a sorta angsty rival in 1 cheval's mother the only family he had left died to nargacuga at the very start which ended up cheval going on a ill kill every last one of them path in this kyles father got killed by a rathalos not just any rathalos ..... But red's rathalos. ... Which kyle became cheval 2.0

I honestly feel 40 minutes is a really good ep length. 30 feels like you'll have to cut more and 50 feels a bit too long for a ep and might make people not watch the video, but that's just my opinion

Red is not first protagonist for anyone watching! The game takes place 4 years from the first plus guardian ratha has two of its eyes, the first ratha had one, Lilia reverto and such are still young, the first protagonist is named LUTE not red.
Yeah, but i wonder where is Lute now ? Lute is mentionned by " you know who " in the demo when he said he was a hero who defeated the black shadow once ( directly referring to the first game ) with his partner...

The way they got their face scars is completely different too.
To explain a double attack. Basically you have to win a clash while you and your monster are using the same attack type. I.e enemie uses technical on you, you and your monster both use power and win the clash
13:00 If you want a bit of backstory on Hunters vs. Riders, there is animosity but not as much as one might think. In part this was due to how until the events of Monster Hunter Stories (the first game), many Hunters thought Riders were only a myth, some others had never heard of them at all. Rider villages existed in relative isolation, with the character's home village in Stories even believing that they were the only Rider village in existence (something they were quite wrong about). This was to avoid potential conflict with Hunters, as they dominate most of human society when it comes to how people interact with monsters and tend to view Riders with suspicion and can sometimes be openly hostile due to fear that the monsters Riders travel with could go on a rampage at any time.
The events of Stories, namely the Black Blight, brought Riders into the open in the Monster Hunter world after centuries of secrecy. Interactions overall went pretty smoothly in that game, mostly because the Guild leader of the main Hunter city you visit vouches for the Rider character and reassures the populace that the monsters that travel with them are safe to be around (he is old friends with the leader of the Rider village, how said friendship came to happen we don't know). That said, it's still clear many Hunters in the city are wary of the Rider and while they follow their Guild leader's orders they may not necessarily change their minds about Riders.
Fast forward to the events of this game and we get introduced to Mahana village, which is evidently trying to bridge the gap between Rider and Hunter cultures via inviting some Hunters to this festival. Except the Hunters had ulterior motives in accepting, thanks to this mysterious "tipoff" they got about the villagers supposedly hiding a mythic Razewing Ratha on the island. The idea that a wild Rathalos (i.e. Guardian Ratha) would actually keep monsters on the island relatively unaggressive toward humans was likewise hard for them to accept.
Ok, huge bit of story and lore from the 1st game! Good!

If you want to play the original MH Stories, it's available on mobile in HD, with the original being on the 3ds.
Apparently the full experience was exclusive to the JP Version.

Admittedly Riders also hunt, it's more that Hunters find Riders suspicious due to their ability to ally with powerful monsters.

I am fine watching any length of episodes, whatever is easier for you, as long as we get your content.
Regarding the double attacks, they only occurs if both you and your mostie use the same type of attack AND that type is the one that beats the attack the enemy is using that turn. So if you both use technical and the enemy used speed, then a double attack will occur. If you and your monstie use different attacksa double attack cannot occur. If you and your monstie use same type attack but it is not the one advantageous against the attack used by the enemy that turn, the double attack will not occur.
There is one more small thing regarding buddies, I will leave that for my comment on the next episode.
One more thing, you cannot control the basic attacks of your monstie, but you can spend some of your kinship gauge to chose a skill to be used by your monstie. All monsties have a type they will use 80% of the type as basic attack, so having monsties of different type is good so you can switch your monstie depending the opponent. There are more stuff again to say this but again I'll leave it for next episode.

There was never really that much conflict in the first game at all. In fact, in the first game, you're the first rider a large city of hunters ever meet. So it was more of an introduction and striking fear into hunters as you walked throughout the town riding a large monster. 😂
And your also the first rider they ever met that just hop onto a frikin rathalos but im guessing the hunters in 2 arent part of that hunter town. Maybe

I don't see why people think Navirou is annoying, he was my favorite character from the first game. And I don't know if they'll go further into his background in this game, but in the first one they actually explained why he looks so different.

If i were to guess he talks too much like way too much sometimes you get that one character that talks for you and also dosent shut up thats navirou (i dont hate him) but some people prefer that he dosent run his mouth 24/7 also too much cat puns thats what i get from people hating on navirou if i were to compare him to other characters navi was it from legend of zelda and paimon from genshin thats what navirou is to both games MHS 1 and 2..... Also he likes to take credits for himself ....... When he said he's the legendary felyn hero he's kinda not wrong but he's omitting the fact that he had a partner once who did most of the heavy lifting in the first game ...... He did contribute on the final boss battle but thats it. (Might be late but thats navirou in a nutshell)

Huge emphasis on story in Stories. Big contrast from mainline Monster Hunter. Also, their logic is kind of weird, if there was once a rathalos with Wings of Ruin, then that's history, so why are they treating it like prophecy?
