I'd love to watch an episode of your most worn sweaters! Or shawls. The ones you consistently reach for again and again. Your blankets have been so inspiring this winter!
Plastic canvas always reminds me of quality time with my grandmother. Makes me smile! 😊
I love that you use Dove Heather in so many projects. It's a beautiful color. Thanks for posting! I don't think you have to do a separate episode for scrappy things. We love to see all of your makings:)
Ooooo i love your granny square blanket. I might start one too ❤
It's great to see you working on what makes you happy. You truly radiate joy! Love seeing all your fun crochet scrappy projects.
Who would have thought that Granny Squares would be so popular again? Love, love your blankets!
Granny squares were the beginning of my journey down the fiber road. They are still one of my favorite things to crochet.
You have inspired me to start a granny square blanket. I love the idea of making a large granny square by just keep going. I learned to crochet when I was 10 by my Aunt Aggie who lived next door to us. About 10 years ago I expanded my knitting knowledge with help from a friend. I love them both, knitting and crocheting. I also love to cross stitch and do my own framing. I worked at a cross stitch shop in the early 90’s and the owner was also a professional framer. She taught me framing techniques that I still use today.
Thank goodness for our crafts. They bring us joy and comfort.
It probably doesn’t feel like you’ve always got a lot to talk about weekly - but even if that means shorter episodes but weekly - it would be amazing. Your podcast brings me so much joy and you spread so much joy and happiness 💛
Kay,
It is always so nice to see you -scrappy projects in a regular episode is great. We are just happy to see you. Crochet is bringing me great joy lately even though I mostly knit.
Kay, I am happy just having you share all of your makes with all of us. It is so inspiring......so you just use any method you choose to do that. Thank you for taking the time to share with all of us!
Ooh, I could look at yarny handmade blankets all day, pure bliss for the soul, all unique and all truly beautiful ❤🧶💕
Your granny square blankets are so colorful and cheerful!
Thank you so much for sharing your joyful knitting projects with us. I am trying to do more things that make me happy!
OMG that large Granny Square is wonderful. You have now become the Queen of Granny Squares!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing all your crochet projects. Makes me want to pick up some crochet projects again. If one episode works for you, then go for it! We are loyal and enjoy whatever you choose to do. Take care!
Love all the scrappy afghans! They are so much fun and such bright colors. Thank you for sharing them with us.
This format of sharing scrappy projects with your other projects works for me !
Love all the granny squares! The mixed colors are so much fun. Doing what makes you happy is the best!
Love your projects Kay! Your enthusiasm for your crafting is infectious. I crocheted a lot longer than I have been knitting. It is enjoyable to get back to crocheting as well. Thank you again for the opportunity to win a giveaway.
Enjoying your podcast about all the crafts. I think having you office space and selling all the knitting accessories was great, but you seem much happier now. Your joy with your making/crafting is contagious. ❤
The first thing I learned how to make was granny squares when I was younger. My mom knit and crocheted but preferred crochet. She recently passed and now I have many of her crocheted blankets that I cherish so much! ❤
Thank you for championing the granny square! I'm a child of the 60's and it warms my heart to see another generation loving on these again!
I don't crochet but I wish I did. There is nothing better than a crochet afghan. Beautiful!
I am primarily a limiter but I learned to crochet as a girl. When I was expecting my first child (almost 38 years ago) I made her a big granny square blanket. I love that pattern…so simple and relaxing. 🧶Felecia~
I first worked on granny squares in high school and now I am 70. That closed granny square is calling me back!
Love the giant granny square blanket. Reminded me of a woman I knew, who left us a long time ago. She was an amazing crafter and person. Thank you so much for that.
Socks, sweaters and/or scrappy projects….. I’m enjoying your joy…..please just keep it coming!
Thank you for another amazing video! I watched it twice! Once by myself with coffee and then again with my husband because he loves your videos too! It’s wonderful to see you so joyful! I’m glad you are doing what you love again and what brings you joy! Now I want to make ALL the blankets!
I absolutely love your 2 new scrappy granny square blankets. They’re both very beautiful. I love all your scrappy granny square projects. How fun!!
Thank you for talking about Granny Squares. I dug out my crochet hook and started a square. It’s been many years since I have crocheted. You made my day. 😊
It's so nice to see you crocheting. I find it so much more relaxing than knitting. Love the blankets.
I liked the mix of scrappy and regular projects in one episode.
Loving the gigantic granny square too!
i've just returned to crocheting when my grand daughter rescued a bunch of vintage granny squares at the tent sale, she asked me if i could put them together to make her a blanket, so i made more squares to have enough and also did the join as you go, she was so very happy with it and now i make time for crochet along with my knitting once i remembered how much i enjoyed it!! ♥
I love that you are enjoying crochet again! Thank you for including all the projects in one episode too! 😍
Loving the granny square blankets!! Thanks for sharing them!! I was inspired to learn crochet when I was younger because of my grandma's granny square blankets and other crocheted afghans!! They are great family heirlooms!!
I'm a new knitter/intermediate crocheter, and as I watch my scrap pile grow more and more with each project, I am increasingly grateful to see scrappy projects for ideas!
Absolutely love the newest giant granny scare blanket. Brilliant! Beautiful!
Thank you so much for showing all your scrappy projects. Love them all so much! 🧶❣️
I love love love all the scrappy projects! As someone who saves every last bit of yarn, I love having scrappy inspo!
Love seeing all your scrappy projects! They just shine with happiness and cozy vibes 🥰
It is great to see your joy to reignited recently. When Crazy Sock Lady co was going on, it definitely felt like you were in business mode (not a bad thing! Just different), but now I see the joyful crafter return! Congrats on finding your joy especially with that crazy massive single granny square blanket!
It can feel so rewarding to use up those small balls of yarn. Good for you. 🧶
I, too, was a crocheter first. When I wanted to do more garment making, I took up knitting. Then, a few years ago, I wanted to make a blanket for a gift and feel back in love with crocheting. It's a nice change. So now I always have multiple knitting and crocheting projects in the works. This is making me very happy. Enjoyed the podcast and all your makings. They are beautiful. 🥰 Terrie (aka TerrieDeer)
Love all your blanket projects! So colorful and cheerful. Any episode you do makes me smile. Do what makes you happy because your joy is contagious. 😊
Loving all the scrappy granny blankets.....they all remind me of my grandma. Have a great weekend.
Love your floral Fat Squirrel bag! Thanks for showing your project bags. It really helps gauge how much will fit in a particular style.
Your crochet blanket is so beautiful. I love how the squares look made with a lighter weight yarn.
I finished my son’s C2C blanket while watching! I am finishing weaving the end in! Crochet for the win today!
Even though I don't crochet I enjoy seeing your projects. I'm reminded that it's time to get back to my cozy memories blanket.
Love. Love. Love the Giant Granny Square Blanket! It takes the traditional granny squares yet with a modern updated twist! As my boys would say, “It’s fire!“🔥 That means great! 😂

I'm crocheting a bright scrappy granny square blanket out of bright colors, so much fun to make. I love all of your scrappy projects!
Kay, thanks for this episode. Here's a hint which you may already know but when working cross stitch on a dark background put something white or light colored on your lap. A pillowcase, dish towel or wash cloth works. It helps a lot. Love your crochet blankets.
There are days I physically crave granny squares 😊 I love doing plastic canvas too. So much fun!
Really like the mitered squares from leftover sock yarn. 💗 All the blankets are beautiful. Signature needles are so cute.
All of your projects are beautiful. Happy to see you have your crochet mojo back.
Hi kay your granny squares blanket are awesome I do get rowe one yarn and have accuimalated a lot and can crochet so I can start my blanket now. I love your pattern.💕💕🙏
Happy to watch your episodes no matter the subject matter or how you decide to present. Here's to knitting, crocheting and podcasting what your heart desires!
So inspired to pick up languishing scrappy projects and begin even more scrappy blankets.
Love, love, love your newest granny square afghan….the one that just keeps going round and round!
I think it’s SO fun doing scrappy blankets! Just the quick pan you did with the granny on your chair caught my eye with several “favorite” blocks, even though I knew you usually just reached in the bag and took whatever yarn. Now if I can just put down my hand quilting to start a blanket. Lord knows I have enough scraps! 🥴 Well done, Kay.
I’m back to crocheting after watching all your beautiful projects. It’s fun to “change things up”‼️
Those blankets are wonderful! Ir's always better to knit on things that bring you joy. You do such a great job of sharing projects and ALL the info about them. Thanks for sharing!
I love seeing all of your projects and I’m feeling very inspired to exercise my very limited and rusty crochet skills! Thank you for sharing,
Woohoo giant granny square blanket!
My 3 year old requested a crocheted blanket last year and he wanted one big granny square! My husband teased me about it but I was like, crocheters make big ol’ squares all the time!!!
Granny squares are so versatile. They work for any project. Planned or scrappy ❤
Loved seeing all the scrappy projects, they are so beautiful and fun!
I like seeing all of the projects! Also, that feeling of using up yarn is the best💜
Love all the scrappy projects and the granny square blanket is beautiful!
Your blankets are so beautiful. It's lovely to see that you're excited about all your projects. 💜
I love the idea of crocheting a granny square blanket using scraps. I have knit the miter square cozy blanket and I've crocheted a granny stripe blanket, so now I want one a granny square like yours! Its soooo pretty!
Hi Kay, love to watch your scrappy projects grow! Do what brings you the most joy, that's the idea of a hobby, right? Assuming your podcast/videos is a hobby ;o)
You've inspired me to get my crochet back on. My Mom taught me to crochet when I was 4 and I did for years and years until I learned to knit. I am thinking a granny square blankie using up all my leftover sock yarn would be awesome. Thank you for the inspiration!
Hi Kay so glad you're enjoying your knitting and crocheting again! Happy crafting Kaye x
Hiya Kay!!! Thank you so much for your podcasts! They are so enjoyable to watch. I love getting ideas from you, seeing all the lovely projects and browsing all the fab yarn you have!! Lots of love xxxxx
I just love watching your videos. Your blankets are beautiful. Granny squares are what my grandma taught me how to crochet when I was just 5.
Oh your new giant granny square blanket is fantastic!! Love it! I am also thinking of all the scrappy projects I want to make and ready to dive in and embrace all things scrappy! So glad to see you getting so much joy from your projects 🤗
Hi, Kay. I love the border on the blanket. I think it compliments the squares. The blanket is beautiful. I'm always amazed at what you accomplish. I don't know how you find the time and energy. Thank you for the inspiration.
I love scrap projects. Thank you for sharing. I love both knit and crochet.
Granny squares so 70’s
I made purses with them in high school. Classics never go out of style 😊
All the blanket goodness 😍
Loving the combined format with scrappy projects included
Love your granny square blankets. Enjoy the mix of different projects in one episode.
I love the mish-mash of projects and talk. We all know socks are never going away so that makes it fun to chat and make some new stuff.
I’m amazed at the progress on your granny square. They are both beautiful.
You've inspired me to start a scrappy square granny blanket with stash yarn and leftovers. Thank you! I learned to crochet in 1970 when Grannies were all the rage. Glad they still are! Love your Giant Granny!! One of my very favorites to hook. Will probably start one of those too. For some odd reason, I tend to crochet more in the Spring and Summer. Knit in Fall and Winter.
I love the giant scrappy granny square blanket! Reminds me of the blankets my Grandma made for me.
Love the huge granny square blanket! That was the first thing I crocheted back when I first learned when I was 10!

Thanks for all the blanket ideas, Kay. I’m really enjoying my Stained Glass scrappy blanket and looking forward to crocheting a scrappy blanket. I love the look of the closed granny squares. Happy creating! ❤
The big granny square blanket is beautiful!! It makes me want to learn how to crochet!
Thank you Kay for another lovely fiber arts chat. I've been a part of your community for years and enjoy the opportunity to see into your world.
Hope basketball tryouts go well. Have an awesome week!
Crocheting is so fun. I was a knitter first and discovered crochet recently. UA-cam is great for learning a new skill! Thanks for another great video!
Loving all the crochet. Really makes me want to start crocheting again. Also loving watching your progress on Santa! So cute!
It is always great to see all
of your WIPs. I like hearing your techniques and how you are being intentional as you create.
I really enjoyed this video format; 'Bit 'o' this, bit 'o' that'; lots of fun.
I crochet more than knit and regularly make granny blankets too. They are just so satisfying and make amazing gifts. The colours in your continuous granny blanket are stunning; I look forward to seeing it progress more. Thanks for all the inspiration. See you next time. Blessings Always 🙏✨💖
The scrappy castonitis is catching! This makes me want to go diving in my own scrap bin and start a blanket of my own.
I love mish mash episodes! Your blankets are so pretty....you have me motivated to give some of these jars of scrap yarn balls I have a home in some new project. I too started crocheting before I really got into knitting. Seeing your joy makes me think maybe I should dig out my hooks and get something started! I love seeing all of the different things you're working on too. Your "making" joy is inspiring, Kay!!!Your weather sounds like ours-spring-like which feels weird for February in New England. I'm sure we'll have winter on our doorstep again soon. Have a fantastic weekend!
