Ooooo great topic I'm wanting to study entomology and arachnology at university after I've finished animal care at college and hopefully one day become a professional entomologist and arachnologist as a full time career ❤️🕷️
Funny, in the beginning you said I am no biologist then at the end your naming each section and part like a pro. Even your toy reviews are filmed with epic music and killer viewpoints. The lighting is always the best. Very talented. This is a cool video and awesome model. There is a lot going on inside that Tarantula. No wonder they’re so fragile.
That's pretty cool! If anybody is old enough, it's sorta like "The Invisible Man" model that you would paint the various body internals and put together. It was a popular toy back in the 1960's. Looks like I gotta get one now. LOL 👍
Richard, You tha man, bro.... that was absolutely awesome. I watched that vid twice. I was fascinated. That just gave me like 10 times more respect for a tarantula, and I already had a huge respect. BTW, yesterday was the first time in my life that I ever let a spider/tarantula crawl on me without flicking/whipping it off to the ground. Albeit a .5" sling, I usually just uncontrollably flick my hand or wrist to remove it. I maintained my composure.
@@tarantulacollective I literally ordered one online after watching your video! I provide worker environmental awareness and safety training here in the Mojave desert, and every grown-up in the room is going to be mesmerized by this… Students are taught that none of the tarantulas in our region are medically significant, (as well as learning about other inverts and snakes) but seeing how they’re “put together” is a completely different story. I foresee this as being very popular!
Loved watching this vid.. I just got me a baby pink toe, and an Arizona blonde... I'm a first time tarantula owner so this vid is great to learn more about T's and there anatomy.. thanks again 🥰
Gotta get one!!! As always your videos bring so enjoyable information!! I love to hear your honest enthusiasm about these wonderful creatures!! I've had my 17 T's for over a year and your videos are my "go to " for knowledge!! Thank you!!!
Dude what a blast to watch! I did a taxidermy job on my recently passed Avic not long ago and I was wondering what all was inside there. I want one of these models now. Tuesdays rock!
This is going to be such an awesome thing to put together with my young kids!! They love our tarantulas and what an awesome way to teach them more about them.
Yay Arthropod Ambassadors. I bought some lovely roaches once and a Tyler Thrasher cicada plushy. At the PACNWRS expo Good people very knowledge and fun too
My son has the human body and brain versions. I may well get him the Tarantula one as well. He loves our spiders. They are called Webster, Orange and Black Arachnia (after the Transformer). The Transformers Legacy toy 'Tarantulas' is already on his Xmas list and looks ace. I ordered it about 2 months ago and I think my son is going to use it to scare his grandparents as it looks so good for a transforming robot toy spider.
nice video but relax with the music learning music is entirely different from the mood of this video, heroism and anticipation/worry is what you conveyed in the music which is another world from the subject of the video. keep up the good work.
A few thoughts - The parts are "tibia" and "sternum", named after the analogous body parts in humans. Also, I couldn't find any sources indicating that tarantulas have a cribellum, and I'm pretty sure this silk-secreting organ is restricted only to certain araneomorphs.
You said tibta not tibia. So you got it wrong twice lol! You said in this post 'tibia not tibia' instead of 'tibia not tibta' (if you get what I'm saying? Reread this post that you wrote)
Your videos are very informative and to the point. I really appreciate your video about the curly haired Tarantula. And thank you for your support. God bless and keep doing your videos. 😆
*_Great channel... just subscribed... Absolutely loved your intro_* Spiders are a creepy subject to some viewers. My son picks them up and watches them. He has had several Rose Hair Tarantulas too. It was fascinating to watch the really big Arachnids. Each one has it's one personality. *_I got bit by Black Widow once, not a pleasant experience.._*
Hey, I am having trouble getting one question answered. I have a 6 gal terrarium already filled up. Theres 3 inches if substrate and 4.5 inches of space between the top of the terrarium and subsrtate. Would more substrate be better? Or is there already not enough open space? Thank you ahead of time!
What a great 4d model 🥰 I have to get 2, one for me and one for my bfs godson 🥳 he loves tarantulas and snakes. And it helps that I own a B. hamorii too 😂
Getting back into the hobby slowly, planning to get a M.Balfouri sub adult/adult female. Binging all your videos, downloaded arachnifiles, and doing more thorough research this time. I do have a question about enclosure decoration. Can I use a baboon skull for enclosure decoration for a full grown female Balfouri? I am going to do my best to fill up as many holes as I can before placing it in the enclosure, but I just wanted to make sure
Excuse me, sir; I have some for you about spiders, most specifically the Black Widow. I know that this seems random, but I an curious about them and their ability to use their senses to navigate their surroundings/environment.
I'm not sure I understand your question, but it comes with a little booklet with diagrams of all the organs and body parts labeled. It also discusses tarantula behavior, locations, life cycle, and other facts. Pretty much covers all the basic information about tarantulas.
Awesome video! I really like the anatomical model in this video. Thanks for sharing! Have you ever watched "Bob the Spider Hunter" on UA-cam? He lives in Michigan, but has many travel videos, as well. He has a vast wealth of knowledge on spiders and tarantulas. I would definitely recommend checking his channel out!
I provided a link in the description and pinned comment. I'm not sure what country you're in, but I just checked the link and there are still plenty available on Amazon, at least here in the US.

Better do that as a hobby, or be ready to become unemployed or poor
That's awsome!!
@@mindfortress105 That's a terrible thing to say.
@@jm0114 yeah, that's why his parents didn't want to tell him that, they would rather let him ruin his life than be seen as "mean" for a few days

He's a poser. All for clicks.
Loved this! How can someone look at how this animal is built and not be amazed by it!?
Tarantula Anatomy would be a pretty cool album name
Excellent topic, sir. Do a vid on scorpion A&P and you'll be my hero. Thanks.
The music is so intense! I almost thought the Tarantula would come to life at the end...

Wish more people did things like this. Might stop accident s etc.
My niece is obsessed with tarantulas but understandably isn't allowed to have any. This kit is perfect for her
Wow, I keep several tarantulas for years now and I always loved spiders. Knowing their anatomy really is interesting and special!
Could you do one of some old world tarantulas?
I've had one of these for a little over a year now and I don't think I'll ever get sick of it. It goes wonderfully with my T collection. 😊
Good education. Good prop. Good delivery. -Elixe
I've had that model for years. It's awesome!
Fascinating … thanks for your explanations

I think the section distal to or after the patella is the tibia not tibta. ie...tibial hooks? I maybe wrong, otherwise really cool model

I'm getting one of those shirts next pay day.

I kinda wanna see you use it as decor in an enclosure
*tibia...not tibta 😣

Is a Grammostola rosea a good beginner tarantula
that was my first and second tarantula
Cool!
I like to think of the pedipalps as arms cause they use them to hold dirt and food.

Tibia, not tibta? All the leg segments are named as if parts of a mammal leg. You got a slight typo somewhere.
