Awesome video! Your journey is very inspiring. Your thoughts, posts and other extracurricular activities like playing Tabla in free time(I also love to play percussion instruments) is really amazing. Keep doing up the great work and sharing your experiences it helps a lot. Thanks 🙏
I never usually comment on any videos, but here I have to say, you have wonderfully explained everything that I had doubts about. Thank you so much for the apt. explanation. I have applied to google a couple days back. I don't know if the recruiter will get in touch with me or not. Just hoping for the best!

Or also choose interlipaat free videos on youtube. www.udemy.com/topic/data-modeling/ For system design, there is no one course since these questions are highly customized based on your experience. I am going to create a video on this, soon. So stay tuned.
Hi ,i am rushikesh raut Now i am studying 2nd year of b.tech Can I get job in Google as a data engineer ?? I have done polytechnic in IT field.. which is in Maharashtra .. Google is my dream company 😍....
Amazing content, Jash.. I just subscribed..could you tell me if it is required to learn spark sql also if you know pyspark already?.. and I would request you to make possible interview questions for Data engineer and self projects one can do to gain confidence for facing interviews ..
Spark sql is like PySpark and SQL had a baby together. If you know them both then you have nothing to worry about. And sure, thanks for the suggestion! 😊
Hey Jash, I was looking up for Data engineer roles on Google careers but they just have many different names for these roles? What exactly is your role called?
We are called Strategic Cloud Data Engineers. Here is the careers page posting careers.google.com/jobs/results/118806257793409734-strategic-cloud-engineer-data-and-analytics/?company=Google&company=UA-cam&employment_type=FULL_TIME&hl=en_US&jlo=en_US&page=16&q=&sort_by=date
Hi Jash, Thank you for share good information. I have one query. Was your linkedin profile set "open for work" status when google recruiter reached to you?
It was open privately (only recruiters can see that), not with the public green banner. Regardless, I get many requests even if it's not open. Data engineering is in demand and active LinkedIn profile can really help.
I have 7 months of experience in Azure data engineer sir I want to know how should I get grip on Data Modeling questions and is there is any specific resources available from where I can prepare for this Data Modeling Questions and System design question like how to optimise the data pipeline
Hi Sanjeev, this might help you in data modelling questions. This is a simple example but it can grow upto 6+ tables but concepts remain same. ua-cam.com/video/y2DD8tAjM0E/v-deo.html I didn't refer to any resource for system design because of my experience. Although i will drop a video about how to prep for this since i am getting many questions on this.
Hii Jaysh, I have 7+ years in ETL datastage, my primary skill sets are sql unix python and data warehousing, currently I am learning gcp and preparing for professional data engineer certification, so what role can I apply in google and what are the areas I need to concentrate more
If you learn spark, you can apply for DE role with this skillset. Another option is CMC - cloud migration consultant and TSE - technical solutions engineer and AE - Application engineer
brother i had a general doubt, i have 0 years of experience in data engineering but i have worked on case studies or scenario-based problems involving the domain. Can i apply for jobs like Data engineer which have requirements of 4 to 10 years of experience?
heyy Jash, thanks a ton for sharing your experience, it was very insightful. I just wanted to know if there's any chance of companies like google hiring undergrad freshers(I'm a 4th year student), for data engineering roles, since a lot of skills you mentioned usually come with hands on experience? and if so, what resources do you suggest to get started w these. thanks a lot :)
Hi Sakshi, thanks for watching! For this role, I have not seen Google hiring freshers. As it requires prior experience in data processing frameworks and algorithms. However companies like ZS where I was working previously are a good place to start if you're interested in this role as they would hire freshers.
Now I am in the process for Cloud Data Engineer role, last week I had the first round, immediately my recruiter scheduled the next 3 rounds for the same day, that is tomorrow, I do not know if that is good news, what do you think? Thank you very much for your videos, they have been very useful.
This is expected. This means that you have cleared the recruiter screening. Now you will have 3 rounds of technical interviews. So prepare well.. These rounds are not knockout rounds. You have to give these 3 and then their cumulative results will either knock you out or keep you in the process. All the best!
@@JashRadia Yes, exactly. The first interview was a screening interview, the second was a technical interview about general Big Data issues and a quick coding test. I expected that the next interviews would be one every week and not all on the same day, interview marathon xD was what surprised me. Thanks Ekta. I had prepared basic data structures like you mentioned. Didn't practice a lot of DP or graph. I used hackerrank for this. System design is a little tricky to prep for.
