There is no shortcut to getting internships. keep looking at career page of the companies you are interested in. Most companies also have some special programs through which they enroll new interns. One such program is called STEP interns at Google. This is applicable for early interns. Get more information about these kind of programs in similar companies and apply for them separately.
None of data roles can be replaced by AI yet, but I feel data analysis is the closest to it. Which can happen in next 5-7 years. Data engineers and data scientists/mles are relatively safer.

Is it mostly working on batch jobs and monitoring tools and is there any usage of the latest technologies across all teams?
@@aditya-k yes the process is the same. Once you get shortlisted, you can get about a month to prepare. Type of work changes a lot in orgs and teams so can't say oen thing that applies to all of google

@@aditya-k not everyone in the team. It's rare nowadays with cost cutting. And how it works, basically google pays for everything. Stay, flights, food, drinks, cabs, every penny you spend. Almost, unless you go on a touristy place then it's entry tickets are obviously not covered 😅
hello jash is there no roles for freshers in data engineering roles as there is a buzz in market you need a good work experience to get a job as a data engineer?
There are and will always be fresher related roles in DE. Even at Google, there were 3 freshers in my team. You have to keep looking. They are often masked as "SWE - Data" roles.
