Right. The ice maker sucks
It needs a “Y” clip. It’s a manufacturer defect. Call Samsung or add the clip on your own & take the $500 eCoupon directly from Samsung :)

Question: how do you set the temperature on the fridge a d the freezer. I tried setting the freezer at -0 and changes to 50f and the fridge at 34 and changes to 37f automatically , can you help with that?

I keep my bottom 2 doors as a freezer and the other day I noticed my freezer food was defrosting. I changed temp for freezer to -3 ( it showed 3 degree ) I also reset it but the temp is steady at 50 degrees ( for 2 freezer bottom sides)
The top refrigerators work good at 34 degrees but the bottom 2 doors stay around 49-50 degrees. I tried shutting off, vacuuming condenser , but still the same . Any thoughts on how to find the problem?

What are the actual temperatures? I think soft freeze is 30 degrees for soft ice cream but I have no idea what the others are.
my right side is set to freeze but it seems to be frosty freeze compared to the left side. Any suggestions to get it corrected?

Came across your video once I looked up how to figure out what’s happening with the ice maker. For the past few days less n less ice coming out as it’s approaching Summer I have been using more ice to make my lemon water. Anyway, I watched all the videos you have for the review including the updates. Thanks! Really gave me some insight on what to do but eventually less ice going forward. That is just awful. I think the fridge is about 2 yrs or less and now having issues. Regardless, I wasn’t using the ice as much as I have in the past few months. This is just terrible, it’s a great looking fridge and it’s just heart breaking this bad news about the ice maker. Am also having a problem with the settings for some reason not sure why the freezer says -8 °F ? Looking at your video your fridge had just 0 °F .. How did it get to -8 ? How do I set it back to 0? Also the fridge says 37°F is that ok? Your fridge had 34°F(to the right of the panel). Hope you can answer this question as I am watching more videos on how to set this to the correct temp. ( however, I don’t know what the correct settings are) I think I saw a manual online but it’s too much to go through.

Hello though I set my freezer at 0 degrees Fahrenheit but it automatically changes to 56 degrees Fahrenheit. When I touch that prompt it shows 0 but when I stop and changes back to 56 degrees

I have had it two years and I am generally really happy with it. The ice maker has never made a lot of ice - but it is because of the capacity. That is my only issue with it.
how to defrost the ice maker? It gives me a problem lately. When it does i pull out the ice maker box and start cleaning the ice from the surface . I know its wrong, but i think there should be a some button to defrost or restart. Thank you beforehand!

Our flex fridge was unplugged for about 2 weeks while we moved across country. When we plugged it in it worked great but we can’t change any settings. It flashes 66C. We’ve unplugged it again, twice and no change. It won’t allow us to change from crushed to regular ice or turn our flex to fridge rather than freezer. Any suggestions?

Vivek Shah I never timed it but is is pretty quick on going from freeze to freezer. It takes longer for the freezer to go to freeze because of the seal.
Yes mine change and I didn't change it it just changed by itself and it has been a nightmare for more than a year I hope this works I just did it
