That thing about -90 rotation seems to not be true anymore? Has it changed since back then? I made an test export right after seeing that, and it came out in same rotation in Unity
Is it necessary to make a base material or can you just drag n drop the palette that you used? I can't change the material base map so I did this n it seemed to work the same. Surely no future repercussions? 🙃

Yup, humanoid righs require a special kind of order/ hierarchy which we dont have on our armature, thats why generic

when i imported the arm into unity it wasn't solid the face that I was looking at was invisible and I only saw the inside of the arm
In blender select everything with ctrl+a and press shift n to recalculate the normals
from where can i download this asset?
The triangles aren't appearing when imported into my engine. Recalculating normals doesn't help, so I'm not sure what to do now...
What engine are u using?

Why would you remove the materials and then add them again? Does it affect how the game runs?
I dont think so, I just like to have them in a seperate place

@@SingleSapling well, I had a truck chassis pack with tires, I imported it in unity from sketchfab and I could rotate the tires but when I customized it in blender and did your video, when I tried to rotate the wheel it rotated the whole model, just wondering if I could change it

I am not sure what u mean by "save the project with color"
@@SingleSapling Ooo sorry for I was not so detailed. When I export the project to unity, there are no colors on the arms.

Yeah u need to create a material in unity and assign it to the arms, and then take the color texture and give as a base color in that new material

Could've edited out the part you messed up in post so that I didn't have to open blender again, kinda annoying, but good tutorial other than that

When I import my arm there are holes in the mesh
Edit: apperantly unity is too retated to turn trapezoids into triangles itself so I had to go into blender and devide every single face into triangles and that dit actually fix the problem
Fucking unity
I've tried everything, from deleting the faces and re filling them, to duplicating the faces and no matter what i do those faces stay missing in unity
There is a modifier called triangulate
Maybe its tje normals, select everything and press shift n

@@grimreapybones2875 had this issue with a model i made, it may be an issue with the unwrapping but i ended up just redoing it
