The counterpoint isn't wrong, though! A lot of people plan on voting for the convicted felon _because he's entertaining._ We just can't have that. It's an _insane_ reason to hand someone the nuclear codes. The only counterpoint I would make is that if you really want to watch that monkey dance, you'd better make sure his court cases keep moving forward! If he gets in there, all that courtroom drama is going away, because he's gonna pardon himself the first chance he gets.

The word he was shooting for was, of course, "refutation." However, the fact that he so often stumbles over his words really makes it problematic when he tries to bring his opponent's mental fitness into question.

The sad thing is Trump couldn't remember the items from his dementia evaluation; he just described the things he saw at the time in that TV interview: the person sitting in front of him, the woman and man off camera, the camera and the TV monitor.

Around 2002-2003 was the absolute murderer's row of talent - the Daily Show's equivalent of the original SNL cast. Colbert, Carell, Bee, Cordry, Helms, Rocca, with Lewis Black at peak rage on Wednesdays. The current cast is more comparable to the Hartman era. All extremely talented and versatile performers, long tenures, very different from the original bunch and a massive breath of fresh air supported by great writing. It's amazing they have all stayed fresh for this long.

What's most interesting about trump's accusation is that he ALWAYS accuses others of that which he himself is guilty. 😮
