This remains one of the best One Piece episodes in my mind. Oda wasn't playing around with it at all. You've got the effortless Bellamy finisher, tons of big characters being revealed, including the Five Elders and Blackbeard and crew, and even some Whitebeard and Shanks power flexing. What more could you ask for?

One of the best episodes in any anime. The way everything was presented, how the plot unfolded, the characters; Everything was just compelling and well placed.

i even like how they panned to blackbeard second when giving them individual intros. you first get psyched out thinking maybe its burgess. then its not so you're like ok they're going to introduce the crew first and captain last. then they introduce the captain for like a half second story presentation twist. such well execution
