@Om Shukla Blackbeard was on his way to kill Luffy at Water 7 post Enies Lobby Arc. But that's where Garp also was. And I don't see Garp letting a pirate kill Luffy.
Garp is privy to the pirates secrets. He would have ended that Blackbeard plot thread.

Tbh I love Blackbeard’s personality so much. He’s always kind of lax and out of touch evil, which is both hilarious and refreshing. So many villains tend to have these cliche power trip quirks and not saying Blackbeard hasn’t had his obnoxious moments, but a lot of the time he just seems so out of touch with the seriousness of the situations it’s awesome. 😂

@@aliq45I figured it was just quick thinking. He probably thought he could entice Ace by telling him we’re going to go after some young hotshot pirate and make a name. He just didn’t know it was his brother, not that it would matter to Ace.
I think Blackbeard was intentionally acting oblivious. He is not a dumb character and his tone in this scene seemed more like sarcasm. Calling Ace “commander” knowing damn well that isn’t the case anymore.
Blackbeard is a good guy. He values talent and wants to recruit ace.

If ace didn't interfere Teach would go to water 7 and capture Luffy. But if Teach did goes there both Garp and Aokiji would probably capture him Instead.

Interesting thing to point out, Ace mentions Blackbeard has lived twice as much as others which is similar to what Shanks said about Blackbeard enjoying life twice as much as others when Buggy lets him know BB doesn't sleep in the flashback

@@KambengMerah I think you missed the point, I said that Haki doesn't nullify DF powers. Haki is strong enough to fight DF users, but what I am saying is that Logia, unlike Zoan and Paramecia, allows the user to not get hit by physical elements. Haki nullifies that part but does not remove the DF's actual power like how the Yami Yami No Mi does. Macro vs Kizaru, Marco was able to kick Kizaru but did not stop Kizaru's power to turn into light and reform. Also when you have someone like Mihawk vs Buggy (Paramecia), his Haki did not cancel out Buggy's ability to be cut into pieces. Mihawk can hurt him but did not remove buggy's power to split apart and come back together. But if it was BB's DF, he would prevent Kizaru and Buggy from using their abilities.
Luffy vs Katakuri : The anime explained that Katakuri quickly animates body with mochi to avoid attacks. Luffy was just not fast enough to hit him until he turned Snake Man.

It was totally logic , not just he interfered because blackbeard killed a crewmember , an unforgivable sin but also he was going for luffy , no normal person will let anyone go ir u know hes going to kill a beloved one , plus , his father roger was the same so its totally natural that he did have the same character as his father
