Bob is quippy and personable as ever. Not an easy job! I don't think I'll ever not be floored by how great the video restoration is, from 525-line interlaced video into noninterlaced 1080p.
If she would’ve said fourth of that seven she drew, she would came close of winning that $25,376 Cadillac Fleetwood instead of pulling out the last two strikes! Ouch!😢
She forgot that she placed the 3 as the fourth digit and got it wrong . This game requires more of memory of where the numbers doesn’t go. It’s easier to play this game with four digits than five.
In that March 1986 episode, Barker only stated that it hadn't been won in perfect fashion under that 5-digit format, although, the regular 4-digit cars were won a couple of times without a mistake.
If a Cadillac costed $25, 376 way back in 1985, imagine what it would cost now in 2022!
Well $40k today!

fun segment to watch, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
They zoomed in on the wrong number when she guessed the first number correctly.
4:40 Rats! Jean done struck out, blown a $25,376 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood sedan. Sorry, babe.

Trumpet horn, opera lamps!! Sweet Fleetwood!
I wanted her to win that Cadillac... so close and yet so far
Sad part of it, she had the Cadillac won. She had it!! If she only remembered where the certain numbers go.
No luck of winning yet! Could that March 12, 1986 be the first win under the 5-digit format?

Let’s hope not. I’m sure 3 Strikes Plus was played during much of Seasons 13-14.
There’s November 8, 1985 playing there’s January 31, 1986 playing so as we dive into the rare 14th season we may see either playing of this game won.
When they played 3 Strikes+ - when they zoomed into the 5th digit, you can tell it's a display attached to the normal 3 Strikes game.
Jean’s headlights are showing
Welp, still no luck getting a winner in 3 Strikes +
I hope March 12, 1986 wasn’t the first time a car was won in that format.

Yikes! Boo hiss!!
I’ve been looking for a playing of 3-Strikes+ with a win that included “whoops and clangs”. Any chance you might have that?
I don't remember them doing the whoops and clangs for 3 strikes. Did they add that in for the plus version?
@@ThunderFist1978 I think it was just a “one-off”. Not a regular occurrence. It was during the Barker era in the 80’s.
