Is this the week that Allan corrects Dick on a winner's circle subject?
Yes
@StLawrencePlace 👍
Dick Clark and his Wait just a minutes
Didn't smokey win someone 25k on his first day?
Yes he did the week of May 18-22, 1987 on the $25,000 Pyramid.
@StLawrencePlace oh wow I thought he only did one week.
They both did one week of the daytime pyramid.
Nice
I love this game show
Please upload more pyramid Thanks
17:28 glad he plays the game safe way
That was great
Thank You very much for this game show
What a cheap car!😊
Originally aired on CBS: 11/19/1985; repeated airing on #TPIRBarker (Todd of the United States Army saved the winless show after he won the car during #DeluxeDiceGame🎲)
Originally aired on CBS: 2/27/1981; repeated airing on The Game Show Network (Another $10,000 winner of season 9 during #GrandGame💰)
This was the jam! RIP Quincy Jones and Don Cornelius. Thanks for posting, Andre!
You’re welcome ☺️
Never seen THREE cuckoos.
How'd she get COMMIT from A SIN
A Yugo...even when it was brand new, it was still considered one of the worst cars (and brands) to ever hit the US market.
The $10,000 Pyramid
I love gladys knight n her music
This is my grandma favorite singer!
I always loved watching Didi Conn during a win in the Winner’s Circle…she was so genuinely excited for the contestants!
Another Perfect 10 Chances Win!
They used to same sound on the price is right for the showcase showdown
Nathaniel was $140 off from a double showcase sweep.

Will we see you come on down sometime?
I love Charlie O'Donnell, he was born in Philadelphia.
Well rest in peace to that legend. Indeed also announced the wheel of Fortune

Markie was so beautiful
@0:17, do you have this wild $25,000 win? imagine of that was a $100,000 win? wow
TPIR is getting addictive. And we like that!
Was shelly n Martha Smith related
37:47 39:36 jackpot, STILL CAAAAAAAR
During SUmmer 1987, CBS did on some Iran-COntra hearings dayd run TPIR, Card Sharks and Pyramid in the afternoons between 12:30-2:30PM EST when Iran-Contra hearings preempted some daytime programming,
From the 7/1/1988 $25K finale: a dog's bugs for the $300 box in the second winner's circle.
IIRC ET metioned Leonard's appearances on Pyramid on ET during the week they aired. Don't know if they mentioned his 1988 SUper Password appearance or his Davidson Pyramid 1991 appearance
You're missing Patrice's $1 difference here. That's the one Carey called: "The greatest bid in TPIR history" and also when Patrice won, he was quick to mention no help from the audience either (a shot indirectly at Slauson and Kniess for what happened on the Perfecto a decade earlier).
1984- Tom Kennedy had grey hair 1985- Tom Kennedy had dark hair for The Price Is Right in syndication I think producers made Tom Kennedy color his hair.
Is FTD a legal clue for florist?
For that part of the game, it's fine.
Johnny Gilbert!
2nd biggest winner in pyramid history
@18:14, is it me, or does he look like Billy Joel
It's coming up on 40 years of this legendary episode, what are the chances they can get relatives of the contestants for the 40th anniversary of the original air date? Bonus points if "the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat" is used on that show.
Thank God Johnny Gilbert is still living and still doing Jeopardy. I remember him saying those lines when he said From Television City In Hollywood This Issss The $25,000 Pyramid and he’ll say today special guest that was associated with Celebrities and and a Game Show Host that was also a Special Guest. Today Johnny is still going Strong by being an Announcer and it’s never gonna Stop.
I wish that Dick Clark would still be alive today so this way he would see what the Studio looks like now and still would continue to host this title of The $25,000 Pyramid so he could give away the Money to the Contestants if they go straight to the top with in 60 seconds.
This is a nice game. It requires concentration and good math skills.
I remember watching 'Child's Play' way back when I was a little girl. To me, Bob Barker, Bill Cullen, Johnny Olson, Janice, Dian, Holly, Rod Roddy, and Gene Wood were the true icons of game show television history not the hosts, game show announcers, and models whom they have now. This little boy must be approaching 50 by now.
november 13 1986 is the airdate. i thought it was the 12 but it was the 13
A contestant (named: Eric) got cocky --- only once ---- that @ 12:12 (in the "Card Game"), when he went "Over", on this game, and @ 39:51, he went "Over" again, in his "Showcase". It wasn't his day! Both heartbreaking moments!
Fun facts: This was the only version of the Pyramid that uses the commercial fee plugs from Tic Tac Dough and The Joker's Wild at the end of the program. Out of all the fee plugs from this episode, Ogilvie home perm, Breath Savers, Shield soap, Upwords game, Chips Ahoy! and Ponds cold cream is still here today
Shield soap and this particular chips ahoy cookies weren't used on joker or ttd since they were 86-87 commercials. The rest were though
1:08 Did Johnny just give away the Mystery Price?
No, he gave the total of all the prizes. The mystery price prize was only the vacuum.
