With 40+ years in the medium commercial tire industry, I have seen a 29.5 x 25 loader tire kill a man. The township that owned & operated it kept ignoring a slow leak. They ran out to soft/flat repeatedly. Then one of many times the re-inflated the tire sidewall had a catastrophic failure and zippered out. It's the air coming out is like a knife .That's what kills you. Very rarely is the debris deadly as the air.
29.5 s are big old girls with a huge volume of air to hit you, and it hits hard . Ive done my fair share of these and they must always be respected. Run them flat and if the sidewall don't get you the locking ring will.
I watched you guys do this on my father's equipment when I was young. Geez that looked like such tough work, you made it look easy!! Nice work, keep it up!!!
My advice after 23 years doing these is wear ear defenders it may not seam much but hitting them lock rings will mess up your hearing. I have bad tinnitus now all down too neglect in the past . The rest of your technique is sound . Stay safe.
Pretty cool but what happened to putting water in tractor tires and eguipment tires helps to keep flats down and gives more traction because you have more weight
Hey Junior sorry for calling you Forza I've been commenting on his stuff too bro , you both show people how hard are jobs are ,, especially my wife! LOL!
+Issac Ortiz it's by the tire. Best thing to do is pretend to be a customer and call around to local shops in your area and ask them the price to change/repair a 20.5-25. It will usually be a service call, tire repair/ dismount mount plus an oring.
Issac Ortiz i charge $75 for a 20.5 25 flat repair or dismount n mount plus the o ring and call. not sure what area youre in but thats the average price in my area.
Travail bien détaillé. Par contre les normes de sécurité ne sont pas respectées. Ne jamais rester a côté d'un pneu lorsqu'on le gonfle, surtout une roue a cerclage
It was leaking from the seal. You can see the bubbles by the rings thats why he cleaned the ring and the wheel with his grinder and fitted a new o-ring
Ex tire guy in Ireland...ahh the memories....this guy is good and has good equipment...

That tire looks heavy ass hell!
Those aren't bad. It's when you get into the big loaders and dirt trucks they get heavy.

It was very helpful.
I was searching for a split rim to put a tubeless tire on them for off road cars.
so found it in this video.
This is tire replacement, not tire repair.
I didn’t see him do a tire repair the only thing is I seen was a rim

Wondering if the name of the video shouldn't be "Tire Change?

80 per hr. Plus repair. hr average
We charged by the hour when I was doing them. To many people will say it's something minor and get out there and find it needs a heavy work over.
We charge $75-100 a tire. In the Chicago suburbs
Why no more videos bro?
Not on the road as much but I’m working on a new how to video. Thanks for watching!

You know it’s ‘Tyre’ and not ‘Tire’, right?
So tyred of the Limeys tire tyranny. I love my American tires and tire of the semantics debate
