Couldn't agree more, mate. Cleaning your bike is the perfect way to keep check on how it is mechanically and if anything needs attention. PS - also in Spain. Been here 25 years because I learned back in the mid '90s that God created this country specifically for bikers!
Just passed my CBT and have to say, I new almost none of what I’ve just learned from this video, so thanks! Just waiting on the delivery of my new sinnis bomber, which I chose based on your informative review on it, so , thanks twice! Can’t wait.
Around 4 years ago i break in street fighter 848 Maaaaaaaan it was so painful such a crazy bike really difficult to keep yourself riding cool. Great informative vdo. Thank you guys.
Many thanks. Got a Sinnis Terrain but, it's been sat idle for near 2 year's. Looking forward to getting back on it. Liked & Subscribed (Thumbs Up Sir!)
Very useful and informative video. I am just about breaking in my new bike. The first on I had for 20 years, stil runs great today. I was careful with breaking in with that, so I do not want to risk ruining my new bike with impatience. Seems to pay off, it runs absolutely smoothly and is so much fun. Now I just have to finish the job properly for the next 1000 km. Then I can do a proper motorway test. Really curious if it is more comfortable than the old Yam XT...
god that bomber is so beautiful. i only just found this chanel as I am getting ready for my cbt - i would love that bike but it was discontinued and only months after this channel reviewed it. anyone know why?? love this channel have been binging everything you have made, top quality!
Great video as always, searched for this kind of video and ofcourse you’ve made one! My Hyosung Aquila arrives in a couple days and I want to know how to run it in, thanks as always!
Good video. Thank you. I’m thinking of buying bike either cb125f or sinnis hoodlam. Which one is more reliable and better suitable for hills if you could tell me please? Thank you
Thinking of getting one of these beauties mainly for commuting to work will be on dual carriage way for about 10 miles sitting at 55mph will this be OK on this bike may be a silly question but I'll ask it anyways thanks
Hi there I have e just got my new bike zontes g1 125 and the book states for first 500km ....below 5500 turns/minute. Does that mean for the first 300miles I need to keep the rev counter below 5.5k on each gear change?? Sorry if it's a stupid question but just starting out. Thank you
Congrats! Yes in each gear, try not to over rev it, and also try not to lug it (when it struggles at low revs). It won’t hurt going over a bit, but not for sustained time. Basically ride it gently for 300 miles
Thank you so much for your quick response....I have been out today and done 12 or so miles but don't think I kept it below 5.5k revs it was only when I returned and read the book that I saw it!!😮 so hopefully it will be ok? Thanks again 😊
When checking chain tension, it's a good idea to check all round the chain, as tight spots tend to develop. Never tension your chain at a loose spot, as when it travels round, it will get to the tight spot and will almost certainly be well over-tight. I almost broke a chain on a GSXR-600 back in the day by making that mistake. Thankfully the runners round the axle were just loose enough for it to pull the wheel off true and the poor handling told me something was up. Now if you drive a shaft drive bike like me, you don't get these problems! 😂😂😂
@@MrDarcy-OlMan it was fairly simple but you're feathering it for quite a while. First service comes in at 300 miles to get rid of the oil used to break in the engine and once that's done you can slowly start opening the taps progressively every 100 miles until the 1k point (or 1,200 depending on who you speak to) and then you can ride it normally without worry. It's a great bike, I'd like to see you do a review on it if I'm honest.
I have a Motorcycle break in ride service...expert rider with 60 years experience ...Fly me to your location world wide coverage and put me up with Room and food and gas money and I will get it done right !
Thank you!! Just bought a new Honda rebel. I appreciate this!!!
Thank you 😊 really glad it helps. Enjoy your new bike 👍🏼

Hi any chance you might review the Indian Scout and or Scout 60 in the near future cheers
Yes definitely. We’re just waiting for Indian to catch up after the Lockdown.

You can’t beat honda for reliability. All 125’s are about the same up hills tbh 👍🏼

Yes definitely. It would be fine 👍🏼

Im sure it’ll be fine. If you were at full revs on the carriageway for an hour that would be a problem, but going over a bit is fine

Just curious, I remember decades ago some disks would rust, but aren't modern bike disks stainless Steel, which doesn't rust?
They do rust a bit but not a lot
Does the ol man dead lift every bike before you guys shoot he's packing on muscle !!!
Maybe! 💪🏻
If you can run in an Royal Enfield by the book you can run in anything 🤣 Just passed 1k on my new Trials 500 and she's feeling great now
Was it complicated? The Trials 500 is very nice looking!

Do we need to do a 2nd run in after the 1st 1000km ?
Hey man, can you please turn those birds down! 🐦🐦 Bit loud 🔊😂
