That is true, nowadays people are being convinced to use shovely phones, definitely not "handy" ones. In case of content creators I can understand it, but for regular people it is great that small phones are still accessible. I hope that this will be still true in few years from now. I have switched to it from shovely android phone mainly because of the size, and the second reason is a touch id which I prefer over face id, what disqualified iP 12 and 13 mini. It was slightly over a year ago. Great movie!
I had hopes the next gen SE was going to have an updated chip, better camera, increased base RAM, USB-C and the same form factor of the 13 mini with a little better battery life. The display on the 3rd gen SE is way better than I expected.

It’s not bad at all and I think the next one would be incredible w/usb-c as an enhanced 13 mini. I’d 100% buy it.
I have the 16 pro, however, the SE 2022 on a daily basis won me over much more
I'm using it as main and 16 just for recordings.
it gets to be funny
So it seems that your iP 16 is kind of your iPad ;)
The last great small phone was the iPhone 13 mini
