I've tried most of the Byredo line and love almost all of them. They're great on my skin. I currently own Black Saffron and Bal D'Afrique my 2 favs. Next up Rose of No man's Land and Gypsy Water.. then Velvet haze and Mojave Ghost.. def one of my Fav houses.
I didn’t like Bal’d afrique, it’s weak and it only lasts half hour. Byredo has reformulated and weakened their perfumes. It’s despicable of them. Greedy house . I will finish what I have but won’t buy more .
I get a lot of soft sandalwood from this one! I really enjoy wearing this. I also love Chembur by this house. Chembur is beautiful when it warms up on skin(not paper) it's a warm weather incense with ginger and citrus 🍊
holy cow! i'm gonna have to buy thing solely because of sapodilla note...or as we call it where I come from, ZAPOTE. one of my favorite fruit and soooo difficult to get (in good quality at least) in any of the international markets where I live (outrageously expensive). I love the smell of the fruit pulp, so I may have to just get thing asap and try not to get too nostalgic when I wear it. I left el Salvador 30 years ago during the civil war and that's about how long it's been since I ate zapote at home...anyway...byredo, take my money!!! thank you for this video. sounds like a fantastic fragrance.
Thanks for this video! I adore this fragrance and Byredo. I have quite a few bottles and many samples. I don’t get the sillage or projection that you do but I’m ok with that. It performs good and after a few hours becomes a lovely skin scent that does stay with me all day.
I feel A fool but I gotta admit; this is a fragrance I’ve seriously overlooked. An Oriental friend of mine Introduced me to it. She wore this when she stayed at my house. I’d smell it hours after she had left the house. Not wanting to be intrusive as perfume is a personal thing; I never asked her what she was wearing until one day we are talking about fragrances and surprisingly she bought me two bottles of fragrances just outta the blue. So I asked what is that haunting fragrance she always wears - she brings me the bottle ! I tell ya this Mojave Ghost is just incredibly intoxicatingly addictive ! Love It :: Love It :: Can’t Get Enough Of It ! Signature Scent Worthy :: Opulent :: Uniquely Plush …… 💜👌
Question has the "TOP NOTES" of this scent mojave ghost changed since it's release in 2014? On Byredo's website for top notes it DOESN'T list sapodilla? It only list as top notes: ambrette but what's even more interesting is both net-a-porter and neiman marcus list top notes as amerette and jamaican nesberry?? So I find this sort of confusing because when purchasing a bottle nowhere does it state on the box, enclosed little card which of the top notes you are getting? Please any info you can share will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I sampled Mojave Ghost a couple of years ago. To be honest it didn't do much for me. My biggest complaint is that it turned into a skin scent in less than an hour. I need to sample this one again because now I'm thinking my decant was watered down.
I own the perfume oil version of this. Was being stingy and didn't want to pay full price for a 50 ml. I don't think the perfume oil is as strong as the sprayer version. Was thinking of getting sprayer version too, but not sure
Black Saffron is all I need from this house, really epic scent this one, meh, it was pleasant, fruity pearish/waxy floral but too faint, the violets got a little annoying, and well,,, i'd rather splurge on a 2nd 100ml of the Saffron =)
Thanks for having me on your channel!
Redolessence always! Thanks for being on Steven!
You are too nice for a New Jersey person.
You sound a bit unnatural ✌🏼 I would love to hear the real you. ☺️

edreamsincolor my wife and I both love it! Its addicting!
This smells like Chanel chance 'eau tendre' - even still beautiful smell, leans on the feminine side and performance is definitely subjective.
Abdul Kahar thanks for commenting!
The best cologne I ever smelled
I only have experience one fragrance from this house and I like it at lot. Nice to see mr Redolessence in this channel. take care.

Whimsical_Rosie Hi Rosie. Byredo website lists in the description of the fragrance, Jamaican Nesberry which is another name for sapodilla fruit. :-)
I have a sample of this. I’ll have to sample it. ❤️ Miss you guys and enjoyed seeing Steven.
Smelled that when I first started collecting and thought it was art
NEVER heard of your special guest! Who is he?!?😉😂🤣

Mr Sillage hahahaha! Thanks Chris!
No NonScents he must be one of the new guys right?!? I'll make sure to go and support him, in sure he could use it!😉

No, you're right it is very weak. I wanted a berry or stronger of the special (pear-y) fruit but never got it
@@netweed09 you might like another 13 then
is it good for summer?
Can you repeat your top ten choices please?
Nice review guys!
kwk1 thank you!

Alex Chu Hey Alex! Thats a tough decision for sure!
Would you recommend this fragrance more than Gypsy water for a woman?
As a male, I prefer to smell Gypsy Water on a woman
I personally like ambrette 9 from Le labo better but it has longevity issue and it is gonna be discontinued.
Black Saffron is all I need from this house, really epic scent

pleasant scent but it lasts less 15 minutes on the skin or clothes
A good scent but not not on of the best Byredo fragrances...imo.SOTD Tabac Rouge by Phaedon
