The Kids in the Hall is a Canadian sketch comedy group formed in 1984, consisting of comedians Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson.

Whenever my ex and I would get in an argument he'd call me "heartbreaker, looooove taker, SWAMP WITCH!" And I'd start laughing. It was hard to stay mad at him. I looked this up because I wanted to remember where he got it from. I remembered kids in the hall but not the sketch 😆 RIP Chuck 💔

I love Kathy talking about herself being an emotional eater . " I eat I do. I pick I nibble under stress I have a little food." Funniest line in the sketch.
It was a different time...Mark killed me when I saw this, just hysterical, the look on Bruce's face I couldn't stop laughing...but back then they were beating SNL...

Gary's backing band was Shadowy Men On A Shadow Planet, the KITH house band and the creators/performers of the theme song, "Having An Average Weekend."
Loved this when it came on tv and still love it

When Kathy with a K get the devil in her eyes, that devil take this bus and drive it to her thighs. OMG, that is brilliant.
I can't get enough of this sketch: the woman's response to a blues guys lament. Two sides to every story.
I saw an interview with Mark in which he cringed about wearing blackface on TV. Fair enough...he learned from it. I don't think he had any malicious or racist intent, and the blackface probably wasn't even his idea. He was playing a character whose primary characteristic was being a blues singer.
Mississippi Gary was actually a character they performed on stage before they got the show, and he didn't wear blackface then.
It would be just as funny without the blackface. There are some white blues singers, after all.
Agreed. It’s still a funny sketch but honestly, I had totally forgotten. He was in black face and I’m really bummed about that because I was going to post it. I wonder why the decision was made to put him in blackface when he wasn’t originally. I don’t think it adds anything to the situation like you said they’re plenty of white southern blue guys.

But, regardless; on what you said, I'd agree if everyone started off with equal rights and privileges, but that's not how it plays.
I mean, let's say you and a bunch of people started playing a videogame, and they automatically start off with all the power-ups, and you start with nothing.
