I am bad in learn a new language, if I can't pass it , won't be graduate and won't get the CBP job??
Yes if you fail you’ll have to wait 6 months. The email will only say if you pass or fail, no score. When you get the call you will only be offered what’s available unless you’re VRA . You will learn Spanish after the academy when you get to your port, if it’s required.
Hi, Can you post a video of how or what helped you do push ups? Your process doing push ups in general. I know you said you got a trainer but how were you able to get them done in a month. Thank you☺️
So this training is for both customs officers and border patrol agents? I would expect border patrol to have physical requirements lol but they send CBPO thru the wringer too?

@@agonzalez22179 the exam was pretty straight forward in my opinion. Nothing that anyone couldn’t pass if you don’t study for. The math was easy lol. Again pretty straight forward.
What have you completed since? I did the e-Qip and fingerprints but they havent scheduled me for my medical or fitness & its been a month since i submitted the e-qip 😢
@@amandab4914 I did the e-qip online. When I log onto the application portal on the e-qip status it says pending and that I will be receiving information on the next steps in my eQIP process shortly. My fitness and medical exam are being scheduled, I’m not sure when though. They emailed me saying I can choose my availabilities, however, I won’t be able to do the medical and fitness test till July. Hopefully they can schedule my appointment in July. I wish you luck!!!

Do you have a packing or shopping list for the academy? I'm going to Fletc this summer for CBPO. Also, is the sprint time difficult?
You mentioned that you had a roommate while at fletc. What’s the structure like? Is it an area with two beds or do the dorms have doors for each room?
How long did it take you from application date-academy? I applied in February and now I have my medical physical and drug screening in a week or so

It's a long process, I applied last year in May 26 and I just took my polygraph last month. Now I am waiting for them to certify my E Quip.

Is the Academy 6 months or 90 days? Is the pre Academy in the same location? Can you leave the Academy on days off to visit home?

do they kick u out for failing the Run at the final ?? or give u another chance? u said in the beginning ur room mate back there because of failing PT
You fail anything on your final PT test, you fail.

I got my first day of pre-academy tomorrow jul 1 and report to fletc on the 11
458 here. APLHA 5 years in. 6-7 TDYs later. Seaport life is great. Land border… well good luck !

Not the same day, I think they were 3 weeks apart. OC spray is mandatory while taser is optional.

You they call you with the offer they will tell you what’s available (which port, it could be land or seaport) .

I ran 3 times a week, 2 miles each time however I time the mile and half just to make sure I was improving in time

I got fingerprinted last week. Now I have my medical and pft this Friday. Then all I have left is my SI, BI, Poly and Drug test.
