I'm 6.3 and was looking for a chair that would fit me for about a year. Was on the edge about this chair for last month and a half. The next day this review came out I ordered it and I was not disappointed. Thank you guys for such a timely review!
You rate highly as a tall guy? I am 6ft 3” also and have struggled to find reasonably priced chairs with the seat depth and height I need
@@Mildly_Irreverant yes, I've had a gen 1 leather in my home office for a few years and recently got a gen 2 at work. Frankly the gen 2 is an improvement, but I wouldnt let this video think that the gen 1 is that bad. It might just be second best out of a handful of chairs you would even want to consider. I am 6'2 and change with the shoulder and hip width of people that are usually a few inches taller. you can adjust the headrest, seat depth, and most importantly, the SHOULDERS to a position that doesnt feel like your chair was designed for children.
side note, the gen 2 comes in leather yet, so if that is important to you, the gen 1 is still like the ONLY good ergo chair in leather. most of the time mesh is the smarter move for most people anyway. especially in an office environment.
Excellent as always Greg and Team. My two complaints: 1) Wish there were some more color options on the mesh, and 2) wish they had released this about 1-2 years ago (or more) when I was shopping as I seriously would have considered this!
Can you make a video about the chairs with best headrests, since there are less chairs with good headrests and this is a feature which i absolutely need.
A very good video, I will have to see if I can try one of these chairs out in one of the stores here. As I don't really want to spend over a 1000 but willing to spend around a 1000.
Thank you. If you can't find it locally, we have free returns on them -Greg
This honestly looks amazing.
Thanks so much for all your videos Razer released a full mesh chait too. Its called Fujin Pro. Maybe a test of a full mesh "gaming" chair would be suitable for your channel too?
We plan to review that model in the near future -Greg
Just got this chair, I love it.
Gerat reveiw, thank you!! Do you also have experience with the Gen2 of the ERGOHUMAN LEGPRO? I was thinking about getting this one but can't find any reviews of it or any infos if there is a specific difference other than the leg rest.
Any chance that you could review the Anthros chair?
Please review the new Razer Fujin pro!
Hey would love to see you guys review the Hinomi H1 Pro V2!
Thanks for the review and looks interesting! Do you think this is a better option than the Herman miller Mirra 2? Thanks !
I'm currently using Mirra 2 ... and I pulled the trigger and ordered Ergohuman 2 Elite with fabric seating. I had to cover seating of Mirra 2 with layers of foam/film to prevent the pain it was causing, as if I was sitting on a pipe. My hamstrings were sore after +8 hours a day. Similar with back rest - had to put 3 layers of velour to make it comfortable.
For the second reason mentioned I haven't bought Fern - Digital Knit mesh is not available in EU online shop, therefore ... KO.
5'8, 150 lbs lean male, FYI.
I like the steelcase chairs. how would this compare
Hey, guys! Could you please review the Razer Fujin Pro? It's another take from a gaming company on an ergonomic-style chair, and I would love it if you could give it a look. The warranty offered on it is the biggest problem, but it looks pretty competent as a mesh chair with quite a bit of adjustability, and the price doesn't seem too crazy as well. Please review it soon!
Working towards it :) -Greg
So how does it compare to ASUS Destrier? Which one do you think its better?
Why this is not listed in amazon? I want to get one but I'm from Costa Rica, pretty sure that if you list it in amazon not only me but a lot of people will buy it
Would you recommend this for someone who’s 160cm ? I saw a Gen2 on sale here on a website and if this is a good option would love to buy it asap (I have back pain and the wrong chairs I’ve been using over the years have made it worse). I don’t really wish to spend a fortune, but need a decent chair that would work for me.
Is the seat depth enough? It looks quite short. Is it longer then Aeron size B?
é a melhor cadeira que comprei no Brasil, comprei no site da Ergoboost a versão 2.0
top demais
Look at this chair for few years, but gen 1 was not very good for tall and heavy people. I'm about 6,3" and 265 pounds. How do you thinks Gen2 will be fine to feet long body? And do mesh is capable to take such weight for long time? Will it be comfortable for tall man?
Does the Mirra 2 not compete in the mesh chair category?
Why is your website blocked in the Netherlands?
Are the wheels replaceable to the rollerblade type wheels?
What is better between elite 2 and ultra 2? i don't get it, i found both of them in my country but the ultra cost less and it have no sense ¿Right?
Review the Sihoo Doro S300
Can you review sihoo s300? There's not much information but I'm quite impressed with that chair
second that. that chair seems absolutely amazing
What are you impressed with? -Ryan
Its reclining system and spring suspension seem comfortable
Like to see a review of the best chair $300 or less. Most people can't afford $1,000+ for a chair. I'm looking for comfortable chair that especially has a comfortable seat. So many of them are too hard. And so many have problems with quality control including bolt holes lining up when putting it together and material construction issues with long term quality.
I can buy a ergohuman gen1 secondhand for 300. Not sure though, hearing about the issues the gen1 has compared to the gen2. I am 5.9 and pretty lightweight, and not sure about the agressive lower back support.
I'm a little confused with the names. There is a Ergohuman V1, V2 and in this video is the Gen 2? Can anyone confirm please?
Question, What is the best chair you can recommend for someone that ONLY cares about seat cushion? I want to cross my legs and sit in it for 8+ hours a day if needed. Thanks!
I'm in the UK and in the market. Considering this and the Hinomi H1. The trouble is, if I want the Ergohuman I have to scour lots of companies' sites. The headrest and footrest have to be selected as options and not everyone offers them. It's not clear how long delivery is; one company offers 'Stock or three weeks' for black, but 12 weeks (!) for any other colour. Some have longer delivery times for the footrest option. With Hinomi, I go to one site - Hinomi's - and everything is in stock for dispatch in three days. And, even before tax, which I won't have to pay as I have my own business, the Hinomi is about £260 cheaper. Kind of helps with the decision.
Might be late but ergohuman do have a UK store Comfort Seating UK and you can get the gaming ultra and it's essentially the same but comes with the headrest footrest and has a black finish instead of the shiny chrome
@@PAUS3D-jo9wg Thanks for taking the time but yes, too late. I have the Hinomi and I'm very happy with it. I think I found that site and it may be that's where I saw the delivery time of 12 weeks. I can't recall exactly now. Anyway, deal done.
Can't find it here in Italy :(
Can you please specify the person height?
This is "Elite" version, right? I'm pretty sure they also offer "Luxury" here in Poland which features wireless adjutments and Drift Tilt.
Yup. YOu should go for elite
Any other difference between elite and luxury version? Cause price difference is almost 200$. How important that drift tilt?
@@nw6066 the Elite (the one reviewed), and Luxury. The Elite/Luxury have the forward/drift tilt and polished alum undercarriage, while the luxury also has polished alum armrests and a recline memory position feature. Forward tilt will depend if you tend to lean forward while doing some stuff, it can help a lot.
This is the Elite version. While I haven't tried the Luxury model, this Elite model is a massive upgrade from the previous iterations and better than all of the other mesh chairs I have tried over the last 17 years. I agree with what @nw6066 said, save the $200 and go Elite -Greg
@@Ricey20 I cant find any information anywhere explaining what the "recline memory position" does on the Luxury edition. Do you happen to know where this is explained by someone? Preferably shown off in a video?
Should I buy the Colamy Kirin or the FlexiSpot OC3B?
I've been using it for a while now and my legs are going numb. I tried different configurations using the "best practices" but did not help. I believe I am the problem (even tho I'm constantly exercising at the gym) since my job requires sitting all the time (although I'm taking breaks regularly where I walk). Or I simply don't like the mesh sitting. Any suggestion is welcomed 🙏
LE: check comments for later update
I had the same issue with Aeron and I just returned it.
How tall and heavy are you?
Are you not sitting to high?
@@gagandeepsingh-cv9ix 180cm and 72kg. This was my first time using mesh seat. The cushion one indeed feels better for me but was wondering in the first place why is this happening
@@gorgandaniel8529 do you have the newer version of chair? How's rest of the chair? if you think it is good, you can try think seat cushions to see if that would help with the numbness.
I am also considering buying this chair due to its back support and the headrest.
I do have the same issue and bought this chair few days ago, I thought I am the only one having this sensation. I can feel that the circulation is kinda cut off even after 10 minutes of sitting, and I've tried absolutely every setup with this chair, adjusted the lumbar support, seat depth, height to the smallest setting and it made no difference.
I assume it's an issue with the sitting design and how the weight is spread across the surface. Btw, I am 185cm tall, 83kg.
If anyone had this problem and managed to solve it, please let us know how :D For now the only option would be to return it...
@@denisguran2573 months in and things did not change. Currently I’m doing some dry needling therapy for my legs in hope to fix this (hoping that I’m the problem). I would suggest you to return it and try instead the chair with the cushion seat also from ergohuman. If you have a showroom somewhere nearby, go there and try it.
I have an Ergohuman v2 with leather instead of mesh. But I find it hard to sit on it for too long, as I start having hip pain, it somehow feels too hard. What would you recommend if the ergohuman is not comfortable enough for me?
There isn't an Ergohuman GEN2 in leather yet. It is more likely you have the original GEN1 or the Ergohuman Elite GEN1 -Greg
Will you guys be carrying the Gen2 version with forward tilt?
Yes, the model we offer includes that as a standard feature -Greg
I JUST GOT IT AND I LOVE IT
Are you still enjoying the chair?
@22TheJmans don't regret a single cent. I work from home and I sit for hours at a time. It has removed all my back pain and its very comfortable. Really good lumbar support. My favorite part is the reclining with my own set pressure. Just feels natural to use.
Thank you, I have been in the market for a new chair for over a year but believe I have narrowed down to this chair. If you had ONE COMPLAINT about the chair what would it be? @@kajzar
@@22TheJmans I wish it was cheaper
@@kajzar I'll take it, thanks
Will the GEN2 have a leather seat version too like the GEN1? It would be a instant buy for me.
Yes, that is their ultimate goal. With the seat frame design change, they have some more work to do yet. I agree, the leather might be nice option for those who don't want to sit on mesh.
That was me with the GEN1, but I feel like they have done such a good job here with the new seat design, I no longer require the leather seat to be comfortable. If you've followed the channel for a while, you know I don't like mesh seats, so this is incredible for me personally.
I was told the leather seat wasn't the big focus, since 9 out of every 10 Ergohuman are sold as the all mesh version.
-Greg
@@btodtvThank you very much Greg! The only reason i need the leather seat version is because i like to sit cross-legged sometimes, and that rules out the mesh seats sadly. And some constructive feedback to the channel (which i very much like :) : if you test a chair, could you please mention if its seat is good, big enough to sit in with crossed legs? There's another channel that does that, and so i know i'm not alone with this problem :)
@@PappLacc You don;'t have to go above Elite version, as it also comes with fabric seating for just +30-50$ more.
@@aleck156Thanks! a fabric seat is even better. Do you know maybe the article number for that? Also, i can't find any official web page for these seats, where you can see all the options, is there any?
@@PappLacc Don;t know if it;'s just local to Poland, but here the naming is Ergohuman 2 Elite BT. The last two letters describe whether frame is Gray or Black, and the second stands for either S (this means mesh version) or T (this is a fabric)
Does the chair have forward tilt like the Aeron does?
Just saw on the product page: Forward Tilt
There is also a version with fabric seat pad. I wonder how it feels
There isn’t a padded seat yet for the GEN2 -GK
@@btodtv thanks. I am a bit too big and heavy for mesh seats, so that's why I asked
@@btodtv Actually there is, but seems to be somehow limited on market- you can buy it of the shelf where I am located(Poland), but seems to be not available anywhere else. I plan to get mine in few weeks for my home office setup, I don't like mesh seats :)
Is there any recommendation chairs if I’m 6’5 ? I can’t seem to find anything other then secret lab
Aeron Size C
Not even the titan evo xl will fit, i'm 1.96(6'5) and the lumbar support doesn't hit the right spot and good luck using the head pillow...so ye...
@@Creamworks they won't like the Aeron. I'm 6'2 and size C didn't work for me. My shoulders went past the top of the chair, thus it felt like I didn't have any upper back and shoulder support
I'm 6'5" 240pound and tried the steecase gesture and leap last week and most likely will buy the gesture, it was very comfortable and seemed to fit me significantly better than the leap. The headrest also has a lot of range and comfortably cradled the back of my head, not the bottom of my skull like some other chairs. I'm also trying the haworth fern in 2 days and unless that's better I'll buy the steelcase gesture. Would love to try an ergohuman but without any showrooms I'm not taking the risk on buying a chair without first sitting in one.
cant rly find this chair in eu mby they are not allowed to sell it here
I'm sure it must be available in EU somewhere since it's designed and made by a Polish company. Company is called GROSPOL, so you can try reaching out to them if they know of any resellers outside of Poland.
Is this chair the same as IOO ELITE 2?
No. This is the Ergohuman Elite G2 and they are different -Greg
Guys please consider reviewing the Hinomi H1 Pro V2. In terms of features, arm rest and adjustability I think it has the best design of all when it comes to ergonomic choices. What is debatable as there are no real professional or trustworthy reviews is the overall quality, quite curious about that.
We have it in the office and it’s going through the review process. Early feedback is not good -GK
Very interesting, as the vagueness in their description (and the almost always gimmicky foot rest) sounded the alarm for me when I was shopping for a chair a few weeks ago. Happily I splurged on a German chair that's even much better looking, a fully loaded interstuhl champ.
I bought this after watching your video and realizing that the famed mesh isn't it for me! And considering I'm supporting a local business and really received a piece of craftsmanship I don't regret spending the 2.5k€
I see you are selling these for $911.99 on your website. Are these used or brand new? I am a bit confused about the pricing for this chair, as their official website says they are $1,728. But they offer no way to purchase directly from them.
98% of our products are brand new. The Ergohuman GEN2 we sell is brand new with full warranty -Greg
the official website doesn't say that. It never has. I'm not sure what sight you're on - but I just bought one from the official site and paid $950 AUD with shipping + free 5 year warranty and upgraded blades (free). $1700 leads me to believe you were on the wrong site..

Hi
This looks like if a gillette razor turned into a chair.
it broke in 2 years
It hasn’t even been out that long -Greg
That’s cool but a thousand dollars for a chair? My bed cost less than that
It might not seem like a good value if it doesn't fit your budget. But if you're looking in the $1000 range, it is without a doubt a good value, since it will be compared mostly to the Aeron which retails for $1800 and up -Greg
Only buy what you can afford. My bed is 3k, this chair is 1k. If you can't afford it, that's fine, just dont buy it.
$911? Yeah no thanks
The best products typically aren't cheap. If you cant afford it, dont buy it.
Mirus Elite Gen 2 is pretty much same but costs 150-200 less in my country, thats how u can have same comfort for 600$
