Revisiting Manthan at Cannes Classics 2024 | India at Cannes 2024

Mr. Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, the founder and director of the Film Heritage Foundation discussed with Secretary, I&B, Mr. Sanjay Jaju, the journey undertaken to restore the classic film by Shyam Benegal, along with Davide Pozzi, director of L'imagine Ritrovata.
Additionally, Dr. Jayen Mehta and Ms. Nirmala Kurien, talked about the role Amul played in bringing Manthan back to the big screen and also how the cooperative society was deeply involved in the production of the film in a way unprecedented in the history of Indian cinema.
